Only advocacy existed. Is just a matter of time. I knows what am saying 100%. Until there's a confirmed case by the FG, we will keep 'deceiving' ourselves. Thank you |

Hausaboy239: We happen to have the most insensitive Government in Niger state!
That individual has been showing some signs of covid-19, some individuals reported the case to the concerned agency; which the they took his blood sample.
Ever since they went on radio silence leaving the guy roaming about the town doing his normal daily activities without taking proper measures of isolating him; since he has been showing signs and symptoms of the virus.
Further more, it was when the NCDC gave the outcome of the blood sample of the guy which was tested positive for covid-19.
Boooom, the bamboozled agency or Government now went for the manhunt of the guy, luckily the caught up with him at about 4:00am on Saturday, 11 of April 2020 in an open place(his self isolating place)
Lastly the agency saddled with the responsibility of the covid-19 cases in Niger state seriously need orientations so as to curtail the damages done to the society. #StayHome #StaySafe Wow, all these happened in Limawa Area in Minna? |

danduchi: I think this man has been doing well regarding the fight against covid-19. The one case in Niger was reported in Suleja very close to Abuja. I heard the person paid his way through to be with his family in Suleja from Abuja since the state has been on lockdown. The taskforce there are to be blamed and not the governor. Please get your facts right before dashing out insults. Remember he was the first to impose curfew in Nigeria Did you read what the commissioner of health said at all? He said: The case, according to the Commissioner of Health, Dr. Muhammad Maikusidi, came from Limawa Area in Minna. The Governor directed the State COVID-19 taskforce to isolate the area for 14 days. Not Suleja |

Criminal activities on the rise in Niger state...
This lockdown is however necessary.
Quite strange that Suleja doesn't have a confirmed case yet considering the proximity to Abuja.
Thank God for safety. |

Chiefpress: COVID19: 305 Cases, 1 in Niger State, Stay Safe
Coronavirus is not longer news or a joke.
We were thinking niger state was immune to to the virus but that's not true.
We must take precautions as one case has been confirmed in Niger state
Thousands of people have died from this virus in so many countries and Nigeria has had it's of fair share with 305 cases, 7 deaths, and 58 have recovered from COVID-19.
Are you still waiting for somebody to tell you that COVID-19 is real?
Niger state government will continue to do it's best to ensure safety of lives and property of the people. What area exactly? |

Although this is good news for some families, I don't think it is good news for the society.
Of recent, gunshots at midnight, particularly 12am - 3am keeps me awake all night... came to visit family and I'm stuck here...
Call Police... they'll arrive whenever they deem fit, park at the junction, turn on siren and possibly chew on sugar cane.
Criminal activities would definitely be on the rise...
The last time armed robbers came (last week Saturday), after shooting with their automatic guns... the yanbangers (vigilante) ran away and promised not to return
