PoliticsRe: Why President Goodluck Jonathan Is To Blame For The Insecurity In Nigeria by cold(m): 2:02am On Dec 26, 2011
^^The analogy is appropriate.Stop defending the indefensible.Jonathan should be held solely responsible for the indiscriminate waste of lives under his watch.Imagine Leaders in saner climes saying stuff like; 'We have to live with the burden of bombings until it fizzles out.It can't last forever'.They'll be heading for the fire exit by now.But then again this is Nigeria we're talking about, anything goes
PoliticsRe: Stop The Violence Against Women In Nigeria! by cold(m): 1:38am On Dec 26, 2011
^^Africans generally think of witch or witchcraft in terms of sorcery & magical powers (but then again isn't that what all these so called Men of God practice?) but my Free dictionary defines a witch in these terms;

1. A hag.
2. A woman considered to be spiteful or overbearing.
3. Informal A woman or girl considered bewitching.
4. One particularly skilled or competent at one's craft

Again,i reiterate,the irony is baffling
PoliticsRe: Bomb Blast: A Burden We Must Live With – Jonathan by cold(m): 1:31am On Dec 26, 2011
Please someone tell me those were not his exact words but just an orchestrated plot by the media to tar the president with the paint of ridicule & mockery.I strongly doubt those were his exact words, otherwise we are finished
PoliticsRe: Stop The Violence Against Women In Nigeria! by cold(m): 1:16am On Dec 26, 2011
^^So we can have 'prayer warriors/bulldozers','radicals for Jesus','soldiers for Christ (knowing fully well that soldiers kill for a living)' but we can't have a witch for Jesus. The irony is baffling

I don't understand why some of you continue to indulge that stagger moniker.Isn't it obvious he is looking up to his mentor?Just before Oyedepo slapped that helpless lady he screamed; 'DO YOU KNOW WHO YOU'RE TALKING TO'? Tawai!Hot slap!So when that cretin continues to rant about how he can feed your generation it aint hard to tell where the trait is coming from.C'mon guys,it's from his 'Daddy'

VoodooDoll:
GEJ is not to blame for Nigeria's insecurity.
Why put the blame of Boko Haram's insanity on GEJ's head.
Why not ask: "are Northern elites responsible for Nigeria's insecurity?"
So if things go awry in your home. You would blame your wife for bringing forth irresponsible kids to the world.Rather than taking the blame for not living up to your responsibilities of being a good father to your kids.Very typical
PoliticsRe: Why President Goodluck Jonathan Is To Blame For The Insecurity In Nigeria by cold(m): 11:40pm On Dec 25, 2011
^^I may not take that line of action but seriously the gloves need to come off here. This is raw bare knuckle cage fight. What I really can't fathom is why is GEJ so lethargic? It just doesn't make any sense.Even a goat would bite when pushed to the wall
PoliticsRe: Why President Goodluck Jonathan Is To Blame For The Insecurity In Nigeria by cold(m): 10:55pm On Dec 25, 2011
Whatever happened to 'the buck stops here'?Why do some folks continue to deflect the barbs directed at Mr President rather than holding him wholly responsible for the dastardly acts that was perpetrated on a day that should have been joyous for Nigerians like every other Christian around the globe?

This is a no-brainer.Anyone with a brain the size of an apple would know that these r etards had something up their sleeves & were up to no good.GEJ should have been more pro-active,flood these flash points with security agents, bring pressure to bear on the intelligentsia to gather more information on clandestine movements, reconnaissance & surveillance would prove invaluable in no small measure. But alas, all we kept hearing even after repeated warnings from Western intelligence & threats from BH, by Azazi was to disregard such information & treat them as rumours & trivialities as everything was under control. Now look how it turned out.

Suddenly,Damaturu has been flooded with security agents. The government is reactive & always acting after the fact. Why not before it?This is so sad
PoliticsRe: Stop The Violence Against Women In Nigeria! by cold(m): 10:08pm On Dec 25, 2011
Bishop Oyedepo in my view is a very successful businessman in the religious industry who is very good in packaging and marketing variants of products from the 'Jesus brand '
In that sense, I respect his business acumen! However, he is a product of an environment where the poor are treated like nobodies and abused even up to their graves. His behaviour is no different from the way many people in Nigeria treat their houseboys and housegirls who cook the very food they eat!

This is the Nigerian USA 94 squad. (the best crop of Super eagles IMHO) I can spot Amokachie wearing a stud. While i'm not a fan of earrings,I don't see how it translates to performance (or lack thereof) on the pitch

Even Oyedepo in his private moments would admit to himself that he did wrong. It was a spur of the moment decision that wasn't well thought through. If he has any sense of decency left,he should be humble enough to offer an apology even compensation.but being the typical arrogant Nigerian with an over bloated ego,he'll never admit he was in the wrong but find some scriptural verse to justify his action. So much for a so called Man of God

Well I see the title did not appear. This is the title: 'God Is Not Great: How Religion Poisons Everything' by Christopher Hitchens who unfortunately died yesterday from complications as a result of cancer

Would this be an appropriate time to present this book?Although I don't agree with certain aspects of the writer's thought but I dare say  it raises a lot of germane questions

I honestly wish this Oyedepo of a man had perpetrated this act in the UK.It would make interesting reading to see how they'll do him in

Vicjustice has a point there and i agree with him, putting a woman in a family way just to get a resident permit is just madness, the baby shouldn't be used as a bargaining chip.
Abegi!Maq we hia word. The puritan crusaders. What do you do when no one or you think no one is watching? What dark secrets have you got locked up in that closet of yours? No need being more Catholic than the Pope, pontificating on the virtues of morality

A good person can not give a bad advice; and it takes a criminal mind to commit a crime.
I do not personally know who you are, but from your post, i can tell that you're a very evil someone.
You have adviced the Nigerian man to take advantage of the foolish Latvian woman and impregnate her, thus bringing an innocent child, a potential victim of a failed family into misery. No kind hearted person would advice anyone to benefit himself by ruining other people's lives, even an innocent kid. You're evil.
Hey young man!Don't think i've got the patience for your sanctimonious, holier than thou, take the moral high ground, hypocritical bulls*#t.So i'll pretend I didn't see your diatribe.Just because i'm in a light mood today, but I urge you to restrain yourself & don't push your luck. This is fair warning!

@Op,didn't have the patience to read thru the entire thread. But what i'd advise you to do is get her pregnant,as soon as she is delivered of the baby.Apply for ILR under the EU Bill of Human Rights,Article 8.Which deals with family & sundry matters.Get an attorney to pursue your case. Then & only then do you have a strong case to legalise your stay.My 2 cents

@OP
in nigeria
we dont expect our women to have 'equal rights' with us.
We are the CEO
no co-founder thing.
Only on that establishment can we trully serve, love and kill for u.
So if you you are carrying that US women rights thing in your brain, all your relationships will fail or end in a yahoo+ (you know how we do')
also note that muslims and traditionalist have polygamous tendencies.
Depends on what you want.
welcome to NIGERIA.
at least for one thing, learn pidgeon english its so easy.
I've seen french ladies speaking it.
Also when you are here blend in, dont form anything.(we know US as much as you do).
Our legal and policing systems are a confused duo. So when you get your car bashed get ready for royal rumble there at the middle of the road!
Haha,interesting take there
