@Op kick her out, simple as.All this talk about forgiveness won't fly.You will always have that picture of your close pal and your missus doing stuff you can't even begin to contemplate.I know this for a fact.My 2 cents anyways |
BlackPikiN: the security check-points should be back in place until the Federal Government were able to put in a proper security communications gadgets network like in overseas.”So which part of the world is this? |
^^^Eeeaaazzzyyy lmao ![]() . . .The quote i was responding to was deleted whilst i was responding |
Iroko Tv and their buffering issues. Are they ever going to get that right?Even when they say they have the problem still persists. It takes an hour and a half or two to watch an hr long movie.& to think these movies now come in 4 parts or 6 like that 'Sins of the Past'.I've given up on them, now trying my hands on alternative sites |
Well one can choose to believe in a supreme being without aligning with any religion.Religion is man made confusion. In fact, looking at the Christians and Muslims today, there's no incentive to become one.All I see is pure, plain, unbridled hypocrisy. It's all charade.Pray, can anyone tell me why in spite of the fact that we have one of the fastest growth rate of Christianity & Islam in Nigeria,we remain one of the most corrupt, impoverished and retrogressive country in the world whilst agnostic & atheistic countries are developing at a maddening pace. |
Well the bombs haven't been going off as much lately. It could be a function of the security agencies being more alive to their responsibilities or the Boko boys have simply gone on the down low to resurge with a b ang.Either way,we hope this menace diminishes until it vanishes completely |
^^Fact |
So i'm supposed to believe that bloke is 26 right?Mtcheew |
He should get her pregnant & make his case stronger.Simple as |
R ape is a very serious crime.Even an accusation of attempted r ape is enough to get a man a lonnnggg time in the cooler.Assuming your story is true.I seriously want to believe you're telling the truth, although like some folks on here I have noticed some inconsistencies in your story which a well seasoned lawyer would take your case to shreds.I would want to put it down to forgetting some of the things that transpired at the time.29 years is a pretty long time. However,if you intend to pursue this case in the courts, then you have an Everest mountain to climb. It is an arduous task prosecuting violation cases that happened only a month ago let alone 29 years ago! Whereas the law might appear to provide protection to the victim of r ape,(Laws of the Federation of Nigeria:Section 357 Cap 77) the key word to focus on is “consent”, as it is the victim’s duty to prove that she did not consent to the r ape. This is a main difference from the way in which r ape is addressed under the law in other countries in which the individual accused of violation can claim the defense of consent, but then bears the burden of proving that the victim consented. Remember the comments of the Abia state Police Commissioner during the brutal video r ape saga?- Ms. X, the woman in the video in question, seemed to him to have consented to the intimate intercourse or else she was being ‘punished’ for some real or imagined slight to one of the men. Most significantly he revealed that the police are aware that young women are being r aped and videoed as a means of punishment and social control. It is not unreasonable to deduce from his words that they also condone it. So my dear like I said, you have a mount Everest to climb. You might want to pursue vengeance by other means. If you need a hit man. . .well let me leave it at that before dem go say I don come again |
This is like the 'How books are sold in churches' thread. You're not forced but you're compelled via stealth to pay.Interesting times we live in |
edie_mafio:Man,you've got to learn to gloss over certain comments or handles on this forum. Some peeps are just so unrealistic it is perplexing.I understand where you coming from perfectly |
You mean the British government spent £14 million of tax payers' money prosecuting this case just to return the loot back to Nigeria? If you believe that then i've got the deeds of the Golden Gate bridge if anyone is interested |
It's going to be really difficult to eradicate this menace, especially when it is tied to religion & Islam at that.I'm leaning towards @scriptwizz-This policy is futile |
Jemibee:And what exactly do you think should happen to the banker? |
Okija_juju:You hit the nail on the head.We have sufficient crime investigating bodies, what we need are more convictions.I mean stiffer convictions.I wonder what those two judges - Hussein Murhktar (2004) & Marcel Awokulehin (2009) - who gave Thief James Ibori cool clean bills of health would be thinking now. Their cups are running over. |
Seriously no matter how patriotic one tries to be & pretend to ignore certain things just to sound politically correct, these urchins in the north just make it difficult to maintain a justiciable posture when it comes to issues in Nigeria. They have become endemic parasites and hangers on to the south.Producing nothing & consuming everything. As if that is not bad enough, they won't let other Nigerians breathe freely all in the name of 'one Nigeria' & a murderous religion to boot. They are the only group that reap the fruit one Nigeria even when they sow nothing to keep it so. |
frosbel:Seriously This was all you could deduce from my comment.Much of Europe's history has been a nightmare of Christian-on-Christian killing, including the 30 Years' War, in which an estimated 7.5 million people--one-third of the European population at the time--died owing to Catholic-versus-Protestant slaughter. England's history is full of Protestants murdering Catholics; France's history is full of Catholics murdering Protestants; Spain's history is full of Christians murdering Jews. Pretty much all of Europe is to blame for the Crusades, in which Christians murdered Muslims. This inventory could go on at considerable length. In fact, men never do evil so completely and cheerfully as when they do it from a religious conviction |
Religion is definitely the opium of the masses.Religion is like a poisoned chalice that seems to get a strangle hold on anyone who drinks of it. Religion poisons everything. Just look around you, listen to the news on a daily, the story is the same;Israelis and Palestinians are killing each other by the hundreds in Israel, the West Bank, and Gaza. Hindus and Muslims are slaughtering each other in India, herding neighbors into house or trains then setting them afire. Catholics and Protestants continue to kill each other in Northern Ireland. Sunnis and Shias have their arms wrapped around each other's throats throughout the Islamic world. Muslims are so determined to murder helpless Christians and Jews that they are willing to die to shed the blood of other religions. The Boko Haram wars, the Pentecostal, protestant wars.Should I go on? |

So God pointed you in the direction of this man but failed to forewarn you of his condition.Na wa o,see how religion poisons everything |
@Op,maybe you might want to try out my experiment.Once when I had those kind of noisy churches in my former neighbourhood, whenever they start throwing one of their noisy tantrums I just turn on the volume of my music set to the loudest.Imagine 100db speakers blasting TuFace's tracks.Wahala dey be dat.& can you imagine, those folks had the nerve to come knocking at my door, urging me to turn the volume of my stereo down. The irony? No be pesin tell dem na |
@Op is this what you really mean ![]() [flash=200,200] https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=iLH7LHrYpLs[/url][/flash] http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=iLH7LHrYpLs |
The op is very right, today's Pentecostals have completely lost the plot. What with all that yelling, gibberish talking, head banging, fist pumping, body quivering, rolling on the floor & feet stomping just to mention a few. What tha heck!Is your God deaf?Stop acting like prophets of Baal. "And they were all filled with the Holy Ghost, and began to speak with other tongues, as the Spirit gave them utterance , Now when this was noised abroad, the multitude came together, and were confounded, because that every man heard them speak in his own language." -Acts 2:4,6 I am totally bewildered at the ignorance of Pentecostals today concerning this issue of speaking in tongues. There is clear Scriptural evidence condemning the mumbo-jumbo, nonsense, which Charismatics call "speaking in tongues" today. First, on the Day of Pentecost Peter spoke in Greek, no other language. The Bible says that the people from other nations HEARD (Acts 2:6- in their own native tongue (i.e., language). What they actually experienced that day was HEARING IN TONGUES. Peter never spoke any language other than the Greek he normally spoke. It is IMPOSSIBLE to reconcile the demonic jibber-jabber of Pentecostals today with the miracle of tongues in the Bible. Acts 2:9-11 mentions sixteen different nations which were present on the Day of Pentecost. Acts 2:8 plainly states that each man HEARD the Gospel in his own native tongue in which he was born. How does this compare with the Charismatic speaking in tongues today that makes NO SENSE TO ANYONE |
Besides the death traps our roads have become another problem we have is the 'it is not my portion' mentality that has afflicted most of us.You tell people to be careful may have gone & you'll hear something 'twa,it is not my portion' 'I reject it in. . . bla bla bla.Just do the damn right thing & stop breaking speed limits |

moremi2008:Let me reiterate, you're a fine one to rant.Your so called pedantism is only a figment nof your imagination. The nitpickery of the English language that drives the less detail oriented insane, often mistaken as a tool to befuddle others when in fact it only subjects you to further ridicule. But this is not your rock to hide under. The itch in your spiracles is no phantom pox; you are not at home here. No matter how deep you burrow our mud will never be yours. Stop trying.Fo0l |
