^^Lol,true talk sha |
Funny thing is a lot of ladies find discussions bordering on weight offensive. The moment you raise the issue of keeping their weight in check their countenance changes & the mood is suddenly tense like you just told them to commit suicide.Ladies,It is only for your own good the guys keep emphasising on staying fit.In the long run you'd feel much better & happier with yourself.Anyways just saying |
Naija music industry is growing in leaps & bounds.Even in non-English speaking countries our artistes are making waves.Sure, like lil wayne, soulja boy, keri hilson etc we also have artistes who ain't pulling their weight but that does not detract from the whole.Naija music scene is the ish. . .end of! |
drestar:Free the guy jor!Why all the hassle?Let him enjoy his life whilst he can. You'd never get out alive anyways |
ogugua88:That is so so sad |
OMG!I feel the same way I feel the same way I felt when my dad passed on.MC Loph,we'll miss you terribly |
You can check out pics from the Gashaka Gumti National Park http://www.google.co.uk/search?q=pictures+from+the+gashaka+gumti+national+park&hl=en&nord=1&biw=1440&bih=785&site=webhp&prmd=imvns&tbm=isch&tbo=u&source=univ&sa=X&ei=blOpTqqFFJTy8QPM_JjpCw&sqi=2&ved=0CEEQsAQ |
Yes @op there are wild animals in Naija. You can pay a visit to the Yankari Game Reserve in Bauchi, the Gashaka Game Reserve in Taraba State or the Gumti Game Reserve in Adamawa. The Gashaka/Gumti Reserves are also protected and funded by the WWF (World Wildlife Fund). Not sure about Yankari |
While I can understand the whole birthday shebang. What I can't fathom is why is her age a classified information? Is it a state secret?Na wa o!Everything for Naija is shrouded in secrecy |
It's a massacre |

@op the greatest mistake you'll ever make is to think you can change her. You'll only be deluding yourself. If she wanted to change, all this time you've been together & knowing your stance on alchohol is enough reason for her to have a rethink but alchoholics don't change,ok may be 1 in every 10,000. Take this from someone who knows. Once again let me reiterate,do not dissipate your energy on a futile venture. I couldn't stress this enough |
omi247:I concur.Meanwhile,nice smile you got ![]() |
^^We get your point. But if these guys continually flow in pidgin, there horizon would be limited. They've got to dovetail everything-Queens,ebonics & pidgin.Even Fela would agree.Go listen to 'Egypt 80'.Btw,i'm a diehard Fela fan |
Dude flows like ma man-Eric Sermon.M9 that is |
Yeah though I got issues with M9 over his beef with Rugged,I still give him props. That dude knows his onions.Nuff respect!MI also killed it,can't say much for the rest |
^You left out Kubica |
Another early morning Grand Prix.Who's here with me.With all the heavy drinking over Saturday nite.I've had to save my sleep for later, considering the fact that Hamilton is on pole.It don't get no better than this |
If Baba Suwe does not sue the NDLEA for defamation & comes up with the 'I leave everything to God' line that would only reinforce what we already know. |
~Bluetooth:In Nigeria you mean.In other climes, the police force is a highly regarded profession. As per the topic,i'm at a loss on what to say.Two brothers gone just like that,so so sad |
feyiona:Abegiii!Sttop waxing lyrical already. We all know how things work in that part of the world.Baba Suwe is as guilty as shyt.He did swallow the cocaine pellets he was accused of,or some otherwise hard substance. There must have been at least a 100 people that passed through the scanner that day & nothing was found on/in them except for a so-called high profile celebrity like baba suwe. Are you trying to tell us the NDLEA just wanted to do him in knowingfully well the consequences of such an action? My guy left mata abeg. A few calls have been made & a number of brown envelopes have exchanged hands.Baba Suwe gets off but not with his reputation intact. |
^^Typical of haphazard journalism in Nigeria |
Even his lawyer admitted that cocaine was ingested 'mistakenly'.So where did the cocaine go?I tire for this people o! |
^^Sharrap dia!So what do we make of this article; The scanning machine at the airport detected suspected substance hidden in Baba Suwe’s stomach, but the suspect was alleged to have denied that such drug was on his person. A second scanning proved that he was carrying the said suspected substance and this led to his immediate arrest. He would remain at the NDLEA office at the airport until he starts excreting the drugs. A source in the anti-drug agency said the suspect has already excreted some of the drugs he ingested but a large quantity was still lodged in his system as at yesterday. The source said the suspect was therefore given some tea to drink which would enable him excrete the remaining drugs while he has been placed on what he described as observation. http://talkofnaija.com/News/newsdetailsone.aspx?NewsId=B548265B-7E19-437D-A704-50F32B16A105 oh ok maybe it was pounded yam like I alluded to earlier |
Why was he crying & pleading for forgiveness ?Because he swallowed an overdose of pounded yam right. That may not be too far from the truth cuz i've once seen a fish drown |
Yesoo!Only in Naija!first you're accused of corruption, then you're given a clean bill of health. You're accused of r*ape, then converted to consensual sex. You're accused of ingesting cocaine, then declared a saint.Naija we hail thee.be that as it may, baba suwe's rep is ruined for life |
gamechange: of course na,we're Nigerians.Arrogance comes as standard |
Even if there is any shred of truth in the story and in spite of my misgivings towards GEJ due to his lethargic nature, what could possibly be wrong with that? The Niger Delta remains the most underdeveloped region in the country & ironically remains the spine holding the rest of the country together. If GEJ's sole achievement is turning the fortunes of the Niger Deltans around he would have achieved a great deal |
~Bluetooth:Well let me help you here.America would kill a US born citizen if he/she poses a danger to other US citizens or viewed as a threat to national security. A missile fired from an American drone has struck and killed a radical US-born Islamic cleric in Yemen, bringing an end to a controversial, two-year manhunt but reigniting questions over the targeting of a US citizen on foreign soil. Anwar al-Awlaki, a dual US-Yemeni citizen, has been one of America's top targets in its fight against al-Qaida. His firebrand rhetoric had become renowned on jihadi websites and is thought to have inspired many more followers. With a blog, a Facebook page and numerous YouTube videos of his sermons, he had increasingly been regarded by the US as one of the most dangerous al-Qaida leaders. President Barack Obama authorised a request to target Awlaki in April last year, making him the first US citizen to be a legal target for assassination in the post-9/11 years. He was one of two US citizens killed in the strike. Samir Khan, US-born editor of Al Qaeda's online jihadist magazine, was also killed in the attack, according to Yemeni officials. http://www.guardian.co.uk/world/2011/sep/30/anwar-al-awlaki-killed-yemen |
Who remembers prophet Paul the octopus of blessed memory?Yes ke he predicted several matches correctly during the last world cup.I hear he is now seated at the right hand of God watching over us |
