^^To your first question,i think the issue of tribal marks belongs to the relic of the past.No right thinking mum or dad wld recommend marks for their new born.Maybe incisions on other parts of the body to ward off evil spirits for the core animists.
To your second question, you can say Umu Ada Kwenu cool

I haven't got the patience to read thru the entire thread but I am of the opinion that the NYSC shld be converted to a military draft like what obtains in Israel & elsewhere. If everyone has some sort of military training the nation will be better for it

@Prince,i think your quick dismissal of the chick was totally uncalled for like it was her fault.I also have misgivings about girls with scarifications but i don't just dismiss them like they're lesser mortals.I let them know i have issues with such marks & may or may not continue with whatever it is we were doing.
Offtopic,In my former place of work, there was this very pretty curvaceous Yoruba chick that would have made heads turn & in fact made heads turn but for some serious scarifications. It was that bad white folks just stopped & stared,I shed a tear or two whenever  I saw her.Why did they have to do this to her  cry
PoliticsRe: Breaking News: Pst. Bakare's House On Fire by cold(m): 11:54pm On Apr 22, 2011
Ezeuche just stfu! Are we raising responsible citizens to be subservient to irresponsible governments? If the righteous shy away from leadership then what justification do we have to complain? What cadre are qualified to run for political offices,Satanists? You're just spewing fuckery, forgive my French.
PoliticsRe: Breaking News: Pst. Bakare's House On Fire by cold(m): 11:38pm On Apr 22, 2011
As far i'm concerned,Bakare has more integrity than all the the Men of Con put together & that includes Oyedepo,Adeboye, Oyaks & their ilks.He was one of the leading & founding members of the SNG that put GEJ in that seat in the first place & i still have a lot of respect for him for that singular act.If he decided to run with Buhari then that was his personal decision as a free citizen.
Thank God no life was lost, the house will be replaced probably many folds just like Job in the Bible. So please spare us all that religious rant

PoliticsWhy Acn/cpc Merger Talks Failed-buhari by cold(op): 8:32pm On Apr 15, 2011
Presidential candidate of the Congress for Progressive Change (CPC) retired General Muhammadu Buhari yesterday said he is not responsible for the collapse of the renewed alliance between his party and the Action Congress of Nigeria (ACN).

The ACN had accused the CPC of refusing to honour the agreement reached between the two parties which will allow the ACN to retain the vice presidential candidate to confront the PDP at tomorrow’s presidential election.

“What the ACN demanded is legally not possible, a presidential candidate is supposed to nominate his running mate and I have already nominated Pastor Tunde Bakare, and they said the vice president’s slot is what they want. But since the time allowed for substitution has lapsed, it is not possible,” Buhari told the BBC Hausa service yesterday.

“If they had agreed for us to work together and emerge victorious, whatever it may be that they want, we can sit down and agree before ministers are nominated and other posts are shared. But they decided to opt out saying that I don’t want the alliance to work; that is not true,” he added.

The CPC presidential candidate also described as untrue the claim that the CPC refused to give the letter demanded by the ACN to seal the alliance, adding that it was not the reason for the collapse of the alliance between the two parties.

He said as a presidential candidate, it will be unthinkable to expect that he will refuse to shift grounds because he wants to win the elections.

Buhari however admitted that the letter demanded by the ACN did not get to the party’s officials at the time earlier agreed upon. “We promised to present the said letter at 10am. But we couldn’t do that until 4pm. After we have taken the letter to them, they said they are not satisfied. They later told the press that I have stopped the alliance.”

On why he shed tears while addressing his supporters at the closing of his campaign in Abuja, Buhari said he wept because of the sorry state Nigerians, especially the less-privileged, are in.

“I wept because in spite of the problems bedevilling the people, there are still those ready to sell their votes and end up in slavery together with their children and even their grand children. Sometimes I don’t blame them because they have little or no option. They have been denied education and healthcare; even clean drinking water, they don’t have,” he said.

On the insinuations in some quarters that he shed tears to appeal to people’s emotions, Buhari said, “The people are those to decide who their leader will be. If they believe in me, let them vote for me. If they don’t, let them vote for whoever they want.”

PoliticsRe: Video Evidence Of Massive Rigging! by cold(m): 12:59am On Apr 15, 2011

Well, if truely those pple exist and are indeed PDP members, then elections in d Senatorial district involved should be cancelled, but note; once electns are announced by INEC, only d Tribunal can reverse it.

Rigging cannot be eradicated in a twinkle of an eye, it needs gradual remedy, it's a disease dat has eaten deep in2 our system, It's obvious we are getting it right gradually (PDP's failure in Ogun is a pointer 2 dat fact). In fact there were allegatns of electoral malpractices in d election dat produced President Barack Obama of d US, So, it's a global force majeure dat can only be checked when we make political offices less attractive. Even @ dat, pple'll still rig.

As 4 having our destiny in our own hands; Fine, I agree  we all av our talents, we all want a better Nig, we all want a better govt, we all want change, yet we are all divided on our choices of candidates 4 various positions; but can all our individual prayers concerning who becomes our next President come 2 pass? That's where God comes in, He knws what'll happen if each of dis guys wins. I knw His plan 4 us is not evil but good tidings, So. figure it out bro, dis is when we need HIM most, because dis election might divide or make us stronger as a nation.
Please can we have a link,a source or something? This is some serious allegation. My guy hush it already, & to think I thought you had something serious to say.Smh,i just killed some brain cells reading this
PoliticsRe: Video Evidence Of Massive Rigging! by cold(m): 12:18am On Apr 15, 2011

I know a lot of pple hates PDP and want them out of power @ all levels, including my self, But fellow Nigerians, let's always handle with care and be critical abt issues dat can heat up d polity, My take on dis issue is that;

1.I didn't 4 once hear or see in dis video anything 2 prove dat those rigged votes are 4 PDP.

2.It might av bin d work of an oppositn party or even some pple who hates PDP; just 2 dent their  already tanished image d more.

3.There was no way they'll be doing such thing and allow anyone film them.

4.There are still some good pple in PDP, likewise d bad pple.(Just lyk we av it in oda parties)

5.We hate PDP mems yet we re-vote a large chunk of them (those who felt short-changed and left) under oppositn parties.

5.Hw sure are we dat those rigged votes(if real) are not 4 ACN or CPC, oh, or because we thk PDP is synonymous with riggin; we now thk oda parties are saints abi? Ask Uncle Tinubu & Sons.
6.We shldn't because we hate PDP, turn blind eyes 2 oda parties.

7.Gbogbo won ni ole ti'le ba da (they are all thieves when d house is empty). All Politicians are thieves, but some are more notorious than d others.

@ dis juncture, I admonish my fellow Nigerians 2 trade with cautn, let's follow our conscience, vote personalities (those u're convinced'll serve d pple of dis great nation more than they'll serve themselves and allies) not party.

PRESIDENTIAL ELECTN

1.Is Gen Buhari our beautiful bride not nw flirtin with d guys (IBB, Atiku, etc) whom we hate wit passion? Or u thk those guys are just gud samaritans who wants nothing in return? He wept on Wed either because;1.He loves Nig so much, 2.because he already saw he might lose; tot of d money he has spent on his campaigns since 2003
or 3.He acted 2 gain our sympathy, who knws.

2.And how much can we trust Dr GEJ, someone we all see 2 be clueless, an ally of OBJ (d most hated guy in Nig), and we're not even sure of his sincerity abt bin whom be preaches he is.

3.Mallam Ribadu, a man I so much trusted b4 d news abt how d alliance btw CPC and ACN collapsed, wit dat, it's obvious dis guy is Tinubu's stooge.

4.Alh Shekarau: Though a very gud candidate but lack d national political clout 2 win.

D questn is; who is d most trusted and qualified candyhuhhuh 'FOLLOW your CONSCIENCE'

Whether we like it or not; d voice of man is d voice of God, & whateva d outcome of d presidential electn is, is God's plan 4 dis country, No matter hw gud sum pple are in rigging, if God says no, such pple'll neva get there.

My prayer is dat; may d will of d most high God be done in Nigeria.
Please don't introduce God to this debate.God has given you a brain, hands & legs to function properly. It is now left to us to do the right thing, your destiny is in your hands.I detest all this 'let us leave it to God' discourse. When God asks you 'what did you do with the talent(s) i gave you' what will be your response?
