The tone atheists use when referring to God tickles me, what wrong has He done to you? Stole your gf? Stole your cash? Set your house ablaze? Seized your Green Card? Learn to live and let live. To me God exists, to you HE doesn't, let the end judge. Loool..ok bro i read you |

I would ask him..my guy why did you allow yourself to be the fall guy? Why did you allow yourself to be used in such an evil and crafty manner? God did all the killings recorded in the bible and heaped the blame on you,yet you took it with a smile. Or could it be that you and god are just two sides of a coin complimenting each other's strengths and weaknesses? |
Christianity Etc › Re: How Some Ladies Attract Spirit Husbands by cold(m): 9:48am On Apr 12, 2015 |
Hmmm..the irony of these issues that Christians keep harping on about..marine spirits, spirit husbands/wives etc is that they also claim there is an all knowing and all powerful god who apparently seems helpless to prevent these evil beings from taking over his human creations. My question goes thus,if this omnipresent, omniscience, omniblablabla god is incapable of stopping these demons from multiplying and tormenting his followers, what exactly is his use? What purpose does he serve? Because from all indications,in spite of the incessant prayers from millions of prayer warriors these so called demons are showing no signs of abating. If anything, they have quadrupled in size. So what exactly is god doing about it? |

omonnakoda: Simple stuff from a simple mind. Oil is important but not as important as many think. Without any of your "dynamite" global forces have "HALVED" revenues from oil and Nigeria has not collapsed. There are many who think foreign exchange is good for its own sake but this is untrue. Much of what Nigeria imports it can make. By the way we are making about $20-40 billion from oil now and in a so called $500 billion economy it is no great shakes. It will hurt to lose it suddenly but in reality the lives of Nigerians are no better than any othe African country without oil. Most definitely not in the North
@ $50 a barrel and 2 million barrels a day X 365 =$37.5 billion . How much of that figure is PROFIT and how much of that profit do the oil companies take. A major problem with the current government is entrenching our dependence on imports and thus selling us the lie that exports are necessary to be weathy. This is not true for ALL nations especially one as resource rich as Nigeria. Nigeria does "Not have the capacity" but the rag tag jokers in the delta do? This time there will be no "WAR" if necessary the AMALEK solution would be applied only this time it would be EVACUATE and not KILL. Every single man, woman goat or fish will be removed from hotspots and relocated elsewhere. We will REPOPULATE the area with Kanuris Ask the Palestinians who are no begging for two states. We will repopulate the area with Kanuris and we will have New Gwoza,New Baga and New Chibok.Thankfully Kanuris ar fishermen. The Ijaws can fish the Lake Chad in Peace. By the time we establish new FACTS on the Ground the Ijaws will know that they are minority. At any rate I do not see Itsekiris or Urhobos joining them in their madness. Intelligent stuff from an intelligent mind. Intelligence must have a new definition...sigh |

Gbawe: Losers wasting their own time and resources. Ambode would have won comfortably even if Buhari lost. Now that Buhari is President-elect Agbaje will be disgraced. The guy who bragged that Igbos are 40% of Lagos better urge every single one of those 40% to go and vote for Agbaje because he will need all the votes he can get to even muster 20% of total votes polled. ACN, now APC, has always had excellent grassroot mobilisation and influence in Lagos the PDP can simply not match. Did people not learn from how Buhari won Lagos when it mattered and when the APC (Lagos arm) actually bothered to sensitise the grassroot? If Buhari could take Lagos what do people expect the fate of Agbaje to be next Saturday? Anyway, PDP fans and TANdroids love deceiving themselves. Not long to wait. Lol..even Gbawe has gotten in on the act. You can't be active in the political section of Nairaland for a year without exhibiting the tribal and hate thing no matter how closeted you are of your tribal inclinations. Good thing you've finally come out of the closet. You can now drop all that nonsensical intellectual garb of yours. I see through you |

Politics › Re: I Will Not Go Down Alone; I Will Sink This Boat - President Jonathan To PDP by cold(m): 9:19pm On Apr 05, 2015 |
WAJW: Even as the president gets ready for his final trip to Otuoke, the last trip that would have his presidential conveyance give him the final salute then turn away to serve another commander-in-chief, retrospective observations are in order.
Will the president be getting a hero's welcome in Otuoke? Dele Sobowale says no. For the people of Otuoke, Jonathan's return would be deemed premature, as it is an unhappy turn of events that has dictated his return in 2015 - four years early.
However, home is home, and when we are done with our worldly dealings, we must return home, and home - as is characteristic of it - must accept us in, irrespective of its misgivings.
Dele Sobowale describes the incumbent as a 'political undertaker,' one determined to go down with as many people from his party as possible.
He [Jonathan] has been quoted as saying, in 2011: "You have given me your assurances of support but some of you are secretly campaigning for Atiku Abubakar. I can’t stand to be humiliated by you. I am the Captain of this boat. I am not going down alone. I am going to sink this boat and go down with all that are in it." He reportedly said this in 2011, at the 55th National Executive Committee Meeting of the PDP. (Quote cited from: http://saharareporters.com/2010/12/20/pdp-primaries-atiku-jonathan’s-politics-smear)
In 2015, he makes good his promise. President Jonathan will not go down alone. "Afenifere is now in the graveyard for sure; so is OPC… Niger Delta Militants, as well as their “god-father”, Chief Edwin Clark, have a new battle on their hands," writes Sobowale.

Flets: This is the only way to ensure relative peace and continued revenue.
The children littered all over this forum have been shouting 'the fear of Buhari' like the creeks care. The only way option on this Issue is seeking peace for a start.
Even when Buhari assumes office, he must be careful as well to carry every group along. If he misfires, things will get ugly so quickly.
We'll be walking on egg shells for a long time. That is what these arm chair generals don't get. They just keep screaming war like they have any idea what they're talking about. All it takes is one dynamite, one pipeline and Nigeria's economy would be set back by several barrels. How many people will Buhari kill before he realises it's a lost cause. Obasanjo tried it and failed. Yar adua came up with a better plan and Nigeria's economy was better for it. I know Buhari is sagacious enough to thread the path of peace and not make loose statements that could further inflame strained nerves. The atmosphere in the ND is tenuous at best. If Buhari truly wants to transform Nigeria he must carry everyone along and keep this peace we have so far enjoyed. In any event, the Nigerian military does not have the capability to fight wars on two fronts so it will be ill advised to try. I'm sure Buhari's new army chiefs would thoroughly debrief him on the consequences of opening another front in the ND with the army still coming to grips with the insurgency in the north east |
