The reasons while tablets are good are that: most tablets have front and back camera(some have LED flash too), tablets are very good for reading, u can write on a tablet with the stylus pen(it's easier to take notes with tablets), it is easier to carry, it is more sleek and fashionable,it always has more battery power,it can be used to make calls too and finally, u have an arrays of limitless downloads to make on d google/apple/windows market.

tablets don't need dvd roms cos all d needed softwares can be downloaded.

Haven't u heard of OTG cable? The full meaning of OTG is USB On-The-Go; it acts as a usb port for tablets and even android phones can use it and function as a host.

Inasmuchas laptops are important not to do away with, but I bet u, if u have a good tablet u will have less use of ur laptop.

a tablet can't replace a laptop neither can a laptop replace a tablet but when u have a good tablet and know how to tweak it's usage, den u can enjoy d limitless of the android market.

It's just that we don't know all the important softwares to download from the android mkt that can make our tablets perform "magic"

Laptops and computers are even used to program these devices
Laptop and computer can run multipl os including ubuntu linux and android
Furthermore a laptop can be used to perform all the functions of all theses other machines.
To me a laptop is the superior and the others are jxt inferiors

baggylips: Fellow nairalanders,please what makes someone an illiterate.is it not unable to read and write as dictionary defines illiteracy or do you think more terms need to be added to it.my argument lies from the unproper behaviours and conduct of the so called literates and graduates which kept me wondering whether "passing six is actually passing sense".sometimes if the so called educated person behaves you wonder how the hell did this person graduate from school.The worst of it all is that way back then in school I remember one of my lecturers which later became my project supervisor getting drunk on a daily basis only to come to class and disgrace himself infront of students.Please if m'not mistaken, this so called lecturer qualifies to be called literate by the dictionary definition.in my own opinion I think the definition of literacy should be reviewed and terms like conduct,behaviour and even dressing included.infact literacy should go hand in hand with being responsible.please let me have your views
