purplish: Wooow! I'm loving the see through hip length idea...Thanks!!!!
Its my favourite too! Now on the morning of the day before the party shave your legs, arm pits and your bikini line! This is to enable your skin to look relaxed before the exposure! Baby oil may be applied on your legs just to glimmer up. Feel free have fun and don't give a hoot about all them slim girls that will be flaunting and trotting about that day! Just exude confidence in your carriage and believe you are gorgeous just the way you are. The pix is to give you an idea of the hip length gown I mentioned earlier! I believe it won't be hard for you to get one and if you have the time you can ask your tailor to make one out of chiffon for you any colour will do just fine smiley

FashionRe: Swim Suit Ideas For A Chubby Chic by Coldfeet(f): 6:07pm On Jul 10, 2014
purplish: Hey everyone! I'm in a very big dilemma.

I've always avoided pool parties...I'm a very busty and fleshy size 12, and I'll never feel comfortable exposing all that endowment in public.

However, its my close friend's birthday party this saturday and its a pool party sad I HAVE to get a swim suit.

So I need your help. Can I have ideas of the kinds of swim suits that would be appropriate for a very busty and chubby madam like me? Pictures, names of stores anywhere in Lagos, and useful tips would be appreciated.

N.B: I would love to moderately cover my _boobs_ and tummy most especially. Thank you :*
Which ever your pick! please don't go for a two piece!!! Opt for a one piece bikini it gives you more coverage and holds any wobbly flesh in place! Also you can pair it with tights. Size 12 aint that biggish in my opinion unless you have a big tummy which can add bulk to a persons frame. Or if you are bold enough get a see thru hip length gown and rock it with a firm sexy two piece bikini! This will give you a feel of coverage and at the same time not make you look like the odd one out rather you'd be the center of very good attention wink lemme see if I can dig up some pics to drive home my points brb.

Will conclude if they are among the most beautiful when I see them live or subsequent photos of them. Both of them are "smizing" that is smiling with their eyes! While the rest are just posing staring at the camera.

Chino72: As I was coming back from lunch, I saw one yolobar corper within our secretariat premises. I called him forth to question him if he is a muslim and he said yes, that he is a muslim from oshun! I left him immediately and went straight to the security dept to report the matter for them to keep an eye on the dude. Why will he loitering around the parking lot in the first place? I learned Aregbsola is training some insurgents in his state. grin grin

I am seriously scared of muslims whether a yolobar or an hausa!

Alenkakent: Mehn... These ibos are just as idiotic as the bokoharam terrorists... The same way those people became terrorists is the same path these ibo idiots are threading...
Insurgency started with Ibos- militancy
Then jos christains - attacking muslims in jos
Then comes the retaliation of jos muslims against jos xtians
Now its bokoharam attacking no particular profile, tribe or religion
Then these idiots of ibos are starting the retaliation against muslims
How is this a religious war?
How is this an ethnic war?
Damn... Only the yorubas have brains and use it in this country...
Even with insurgency, muslims and xtians live in peace back home in the southwest...
High time I abandoned this NYSC shit and leave this hell hole of an eastern state
I know a lot of Yoruba Christian/Muslims that have brains and actually use it! You on the other hand have just shown me one that doesn't.

zeelo2014: The same way Christians are harassed in the Core North. I suffered same when I served.
Or the case of Eucharia Remmy a female corper in Yobe (pictured below),killed for distributing rhapsody of realities, a christian tract from Christ Embassy, she was shot point blank by Muslims. The truth is Muslims know how to cry to high heavens when they are been trampled on but look the other way when their brethren are killing Christians.
God bless you for this! Whatever is good for uganda is equally good for greece. Op you are lucky to be getting a warning to behave! people like Eucharia NEVER got that second chance and a lot more Christian corpers that have been slain senselessly in the north over the years simply because they are Christians. You and your fellow corpers who feel maltreated have the opportunity to go ask for a redeployment! You and your fellow corpers have the chance to come to NL and open this thread and ask for fair play while in the east Eucharia and many others didn't have this chance when they were sent up north to serve their father land! Rather it was their corpses that got redeployed angry I thank God for your life and that of your fellow corps members cos you are lucky to be serving in the east because your families can be rest assured you all will return to them in one piece, unlike the many Christians serving in the north whose families are not sure if they will return home!!! so stop whining and go seek redeployment to the NORTH.

EducationRe: NECO Shocks Students With Upgraded Examination. by Coldfeet(f): 9:28pm On Jul 07, 2014
Ericardo7: Many students currently writing the Senior Secondary Certificate Examination (SSCE) of the National Examinations Commission (NECO) had to chew the cover of their pens today as the examination body surprised them with upgraded means of conducting the exams. One of the rescheduled subjects-Mathematics-was written today and those who wrote said they did not understand how the exam was conducted.
One of such means was the use of Paper Type. This medium which must have been adopted from that of the Joint Admission and Matriculation Board(JAMB) was the one that hit students, especially the ones that wrote in "Miracle Centres" the hardest.
A student of High Standard Comprehensive High School, In Delta State complained bitterly to me after their exams. "Na God go punish NECO.", he cried. "When they brought the question papers, our maths teacher just collect one question paper go dey solve am for us inside him office. After like thirty minutes, the guy come inside hall. he dictate objective, all of us shade. Later dem come copy theory for board, all of us copy am take. Na about ten minutes make exam finish Na we come dey hear say one thing Na paper type. before we know d invigilator collect everything from us. The Paper Type wey d mumu Uncle write Na C and me I be type A".
Many students were found complaining, crying and some even rolling on the floor.
Most of the ones crying were heard making d statement "NECO, Diaris God ooooooo".
Abeg make una no break my ribs with laugh o! Chineke na one of the leaders of tomorrow you interview so? It is well. grin

Biko, I wish those kids who were killed by their moms were dumped at my door step like this so they at least have another shot at life.
She is a crazy mom, but not a heartless woman. Crazy and stupid and cold towards her child for sure but, not heartless.
Well said! She at least gave the child an opportunity to live! Unlike so many others you listed above those are indeed the heartless ones.

FamilyRe: Top Reasons Men Withdraw Emotionally From A Relationship - by Coldfeet(f): 1:58pm On Jul 07, 2014
liberty24: In a relationship, having your partner withdraw at an emotional level can bring confusion, pain and frustration.

Women who relate to men that do this are often bewildered by why and how this happens. Speaking as a man, and one who considers himself sensitive and emotionally available, there are particular situations and scenarios that cause me to withdraw. And I imagine that other men, regardless of how in-tune they are with their emotional nature, would respond in similar ways.

Just because a man withdraws does not mean he is withdrawing from you.

First, I just wanted to express that when a man seeks solace or withdraws from a conversation, it probably has nothing to do with the beloved. It has more to do with the emotional intensity and confusion around emotions than with any particular person. It just takes men more time to integrate and understand the watery realm of emotions. And understanding emotions isn’t something that happens for us spontaneously in the midst of a heated discussion. We need space and time to figure out what is happening, both within our own self and with our beloved. Men have been discouraged from feeling emotional. We have been mocked, attacked, and belittled when showing emotions. Big boys don’t cry, toughen up, and bite the bullet are all phrases men grow up with. So when we are faced with emotional situations, we are total novices. The biggest harm that is not recognized or appreciated for the depth of damage that it causes at the emotional level to a man is that men are expected to be tough, to protect, and kill to defend their family. Violence, and the expectation of violence, mandates an absence of emotional sensitivity.
It is a double standard to expect a man to be emotionally available and to have him be able to harm another human being.

Have compassion and understand the kind of conundrum that a man faces when being emotional vulnerable and awakening to deeper sensitivities. It is rare enough to find a man who wants to delve within and unleash his inner passion. It doesn’t mean that he is going to be masterful at it. For men to be comfortable in their own skin and accept their feeling nature takes a growth curve.

A woman has a lifetime of experience navigating the oceanic tides of emotional states.

Women grow up with emotional states and are accepted as sensitive, feeling beings. She is able to observe, feel, recognize and better communicate her feelings than a man. Women are also adept at observing and recognizing the emotional states in other people. And when a woman finds a man who loves her, at some level, she feels a great deal of hope because she has found an emotional match, somebody who understands those hidden tides and influences. Women will share all their heart and feelings, and not understand how this can impact a man. And when a man doesn’t respond as she needs, the feelings of being hurt or misunderstood arise. How those feelings are expressed matter a great deal.

The best men want an intimate connection with women, and often don’t know how to do that.

Men don’t fall short in the emotional realm because we are emotionally immature. We are emotionally inexperienced. Men face expectations and pressure about emotions that are confusing and contradictory. And when we find a woman who loves us and we love in return, it brings to life a living fire that had been suppressed for a lifetime. Yet fires burn, and the burgeoning sensitivities is akin to a child learning to walk. We fall down, we make blunders, and we are blind as to how to listen and communicate our emotions.

Men experience a learning curve when awakening to their deepest sensitivities.

And just as any beginner, they make mistakes. Sometimes the mistakes are colossal, and sometimes laughable. Men need an emotional example, how to be live with and operate with emotions in a healthy way. We also need to be accepted as we are, beginners with beautiful intention. To demand for a man to have the mastery over their emotions is an outrageous expectation. For most men, mastery over emotions means suppressing them, hiding feelings behind a mask of stoicism, or just turning off the emotions entirely. It takes time to even identify the subtle emotions, let alone to know how they function and their influence on our own self and those around us.
Any teacher knows that mocking a beginner or putting them down, criticizing them or their approach, will stunt the learning curve, if not completely stopping it.

The beloved woman becomes that guide into the mysterious realms of feeling emotions. When she expresses anger, puts down her man, belittles or mocks him, a man feels attacked. When she demands him to be sensitive, a man feels.......

You people should stop castigating her, someone has to speak the truth...

Oh...i forgot, Nigerans dont want to hear the truth.

It takes two to tango!
