blacknp: Does the Minister employ civil servants? Federal civil service comes with more just than employment, it comes with retirement money, pension for life, no Minister can just wake up and employ civil servants, the Permanent Secretary of the Ministry has a major role. My comment is based on the information at hand and I quoted it for u Let love and equality lead |

Better start redrawing ur map if u know what's good for u so u won't be disappointed |

Minsk24: Things i Love about The South-East
Homogeneity : The South-East is a pretty homogenous religion, as we share one igbo heritage, despite the diverse dialects and traditions in igboland, we are all igbos.... The South-East homogeneity is also displayed in religion... Majority of igbos are Christians and we have few people practicing the local religions... People even combine Christianity and The local religions easily....
People:
The Igbo people are very peaceful people, we are naturally ambitious and love education.... The Igbos recovered from a civil war and today are one of the most prosperous tribes of Nigeria... People here endeavor to send their kids to school and this has helped[ucreate a society of intellects and productive people... Igbos combine the best of Conservative and Liberal ideologies same time... While our people are deeply religious, we still live our lives to the fullest and make tough decisions when needed.... We are not shy to let religion take a backseat when confronted with issues that might derail our personal goals... We Igbos are nice people... We are proud of who we are Igbo's are the most peaceful people in Nigeria thats a known fact. Most Igbo's who engage in criminal acts learned it from the places they traveled to |

AmazingELixir: Why must we manage when we can do better...the Lagos _ Ibadan rail line was formally narrow gauge but upgraded to standard gauge and it is to transverse all the way to Kano eventually...why the fvck will they insist on maintaining the old narrow gauge that is limited by speed on which the coaches can cruise...at a time when the world is going on high speed trains and phasing out the old guage rails suited for the sluggish moving locomotives.
Infact I'm disappointed at you for posting that. Half bread is better than none, its better we see narrow than we no see at all. For Amaechi who is from rivers state to accept this why he did standard in Lagos, do u know whether the powers didnt have us in mind, do u know what amaechi had to do just for them to approve it for his state? |

Right now IG has introduced reels, its just like tiktok but most people don't know how to use it |

SmartPolician: This is FALSE
An importer told me that it is likely to get a ship going to Lagos more than anywhere else in Nigeria. The same applies to Murtala Mohammed Airport, Ikeja. So, it's an issue of available and patronage.
If you have been privileged to patrol the Niger Delta waters like I have, you will notice the heavy presence of naval police every inch of the way.
Besides, if the Delta has a major challenge of piracy, then I don't think offshore oil drilling will still be going on in the region. Do u know how much those offshore oil rigs pay as security, reason y they don't feel it is cause oil money has high profit margins. Just the other day in rivers state bonny gun men from the sea stormed a wedding kidnapped people and drove back into the sea, we even heard yesterday that militancy has started in calabar again. The list goes on |

Even right now if u are traveling to Lagos the only portion of east west road thats good is the part from ore, one by fashola. Lagos Ibadan expressway reason y its taking time is cause is high quality work they are doing same fashola. But amaechi couldn't do one for his state |

SmartPolician: Nigeria needs to expand its port capacity before lobbying neighboring nations to start using its ports....this is called planning.
Apapa is already a chaos even though Tin Can is primarily serving Nigerians....now imagine what would happen when other countries start using it.
The ports in Onne, Calabar and Warri are operating at full capacities yet the government turns a blind eye on it, allowing almost everyone to import through the Lagos The reason people prefer Lagos ports has more to do with the people in the eastern coasts. The coasts of the south south is very insecure and volatile. |
