PerfectlyPerfect: They need to prove the money is proceeds of fraud. A friend of mine based in Italy who buys palm oil and kernels in huge quantity and sells in foeign countries sent #200,000,000 to his mother to help him buy as he wasn't able to come back to Nigeria and buy as he normally does. The bank froze the money. It took 6 weeks before they lifted the restrictions to the account and by then most of the man's suppliers had sold to other people This country is really frustrating, Uba bank did thus rubbish to me last year I was sent money from a sibling abroad to pay for sth, I went to the bank posted a transfer and left and was expecting receipt from the place I sent it to, they kept telling me they haven't seen it, I became frustrated only for me to find out that the bank froze my account. Just like that I lost that opportunity and the worst in Nigeria sueing no dae work |

greypencils: If you make legit money abroad, irrespective of whether you send it to your own account or a family members account, you have a source of income and you should be bold enough to defend it if you are invited. What is fishy here is that the boy is 24 without any known source of income, if he is clean, let him come down and defend himself, it's that simple. How do u know he has no source of income, the boy go Malaysia go do wetin? If the money is proceeds from crime they have to tell us the crime. I am angry cause I know they just want to seize the money and share it amongst themselves |

LaIabobo: Having such money is not a crime, not being able to explain the source is the crime. The first point of enhanced due diligence is the source of income/inflow. The transaction is a strange one because of the woman is a primary school teacher. Laslas they've withdrawn the money already and they'll settle it with ICPC The thing here is the icpc is not even interested in hearing from the son, all they are interested in is her forfeiting the money. The money is supposed to be frozen until they contact the son to come for explanation. |

SEIZING AND DISAPPEARING PEOPLES MONEY IS THE NEW TOOL TO WEALTH FOR ALL THESE GOVERNMENT AGENCY THESE DAYS
IT GOES AS HIGH AS THE ACTING DG EFCC
UNA READ THE MALAMI LETTER TO THE PRESIDENT YESTERDAY The fact that they are so much interested in only the money, they dont want to even see the son or even question him. When the boy dropped out of school cause of lack of money, they didn't check the mothers account to ask y theres no money in it, then after they have sold lands borrowed to send the boy abroad one mumu, would just wake up and be asking u what's the source if your Money. Its either they return it to her, or the original owner or the Anambra state government. Icpc or whatever did not add anything to bring that money but now they want to reap where they did now sow |
Crime › Re: ₦550 Million From Malaysia Found In A Teacher's Account In Anambra by Coldie: 8:50am On Jun 20, 2020 |
Its either they return the money back to the person who owns it or they give it to the woman.
Cause theres no need seizing the money be the icpc or whatever and then the government steals it again |

Dont bank your hope on them, I have my money in the bank in rivers state and Delta than them.

I have lived with 2 akwa ibom people at different point in times in my life my experience with them in Igbo matter made me not to have hope on them. |

Yampotatocarrot: I'm sure Europe thought the same thing when they agreed to accept the refugees, that they'll have cheap labour.
My brother, let's not destroy ourselves because we want to please the North so that they'll support us in our quest for presidency.
Do we know the Almajiris more than their own governors that are sending them back and trying to break the Almajiri system? Why should we even be thinking of such baffles me.
So, we'll put the lives of our people, our elderly mothers and fathers, our wives, our children in danger, JUST BECAUSE OF A LARGER AND EVEN BOLDER STRATEGY? Just because we want to be president of Nigeria?
*#Local man cannot can#" Did u see the post I edited I put down the motive there. But I had to remove it for our own interest |

Chibuzo15: Nawa o, are you sure it's not the state that made fees so high? We just dey here dey dull, gov Akeredolu of Ondo is planning to build a sea port in Ondo, using states funds. Ondo has the longest coastline in Nigeria Na why we and these people no be the same. Almost all the SS States have sea access and the major thing igbos need is sea access why not them making an alliance and solving that problem, instead of them to do it to them its over their dead bodies |

But still I believe they are the best bet, Please why is the port in states like Rivers not used for Cargo ? I still wonder It is, but security fees you have to pay is very high. The area is prone to pirates |

Yampotatocarrot: Mehn, I'm shocked with that I'm seeing. Did you see where he wrote the North send their Almajiris down to the east, infact all of them, that we'll take care of them?
Even Northern states are trying to send them back cos of their propensity for violence and someone is saying we accept them all in. Na so European countries take do big brother accept refugees who even Muslim countries didn't accept, and the refugees are now causing trouble for them.
Abeg, let's not be too wise in our own conceits U won't understand but whatever I say is part of a larger and even bolder strategy |

Apga as a party doesn't even know its job, I am of the opinion that Apga should form an underground alliance with Ipob.
Not for Biafra purpose but for political purpose.
Since Nnamdi KANU and his group seems they dont want to stop the struggle and nobody can convince them they should just do we igbos one big favour.
Let them stop insulting other tribes, if theres a wrong by any tribe call them out but don't call them demeaning name. Its in our interest for the bigger picture |
Politics › Re: Few Pics From Imo State by Coldie: 5:43pm On Jun 19, 2020 |
Igbos need to be smart, Nigerians will try to play a fast one on us and said they gave us Igbo presidency, they would present Chibuike Amaechi as Igbo candidate.
Its not bad cause thats the closest we can get to the Presidency, considering the fact that Amaechis wife is Igbo from IMO state.
Its in our interest as Igbo's there by that time make sure Rocha's okorocha and Orji uzor kalu are in the senate, as we will negotiate for either Senate or depute Senate president seat.
While we watch and wait for our next move |

Chibuzo15: Please don't share it here, information here that is not safe.
You are right though, the north and the east are both landlocked, but the west is offering them a better of offer. Tinubu has aligned with the North already,
As a matter of fact the north doesn't need the east anymore, they would soon complete the railway from Lagos to Kano. Some sections have been completed.
So I actually believe it's tougher to align with the North, or would I say too ambitious.
The best bet is to align with SS. Afterall we have a long history together. If IPOB can stop abusing SW calling them slaves and also stop abusing SS calling them Saboteurs , it would be easier. The reason through out NY discussion I didn't put any plans involving the SS is their igbophobic nature. Even when the development of the east is mutual they would prefer if kano be developed while the east remain underdeveloped. People who think like that don't have my respect. Me I mind my business every man for himself |

I hope Nigeria helps them.
Nigeria really needs to be in the fore front in ensuring that African countries don't look up to the whites for aid.
I was so disappointed that during the corona virus pandemic African countries begged Nigeria for food but we couldnt do anything. At least we should have helped.
I wish God gives Buhari the vision to make Nigeria better, I wish Nigeria becomes so developed and full of opportunities that youths don't have to leave the country.
Nigerians need to push for igbos Presidency so Igbo land can be developed, so Igbo people cab stop leaving the region and the country |
