There used to be this myth that white women are so soft and gentle and that they never give wahala when you marry them. That's the biggest lie from the pits of hell.

In their society women have the power and are in control of the family.

In the olden days men were in control and abused this power and gave zero rights for women, even supported by the bible: Examples childbirth pain is curse for deceiving adam; if a woman uncovers her hair her hair should be shaved off; head of woman is a man; if a divorced and remarried again she commits adultery; if a woman is rap'd she must marry the rap'st etc all from the bible. Hence men married and sent women packing as they please.

Then even women rights and feminism start gaining momentum and divorce rights was given to women and the woman gets 50% of the man's net worth. This essentially gave the power back to women cuz every married man is now afraid of losing his wealth.

Then men also protested and a middle ground was reached such that a prenuptial agreement can be agreed which is an amount/assets that everyone agrees to leave with incase of divorce.

The problem now is this doesn't favor women cuz it takes away their power. So now women are not interested in marrying again unless it's without prenuptial agreement.

So now the marriage institution and by extension the society, has collapsed completely. The only thing they mostly do now is dating till infinity. You can even give birth while dating but no marriages. That's why 50% of all marriages in the west ends up in divorce due to lack of trust and men not being in charge. Alphabet community is also gaining momentum. I ask Almighty God to guide them.

One of the biggest injustices done to Nigerians is destroying the education system to the extent that Nigerians can't use their basic God-given brain to make rational decisions and seek for truth and justice. Ultimately, Almighty God would ensure we all get what we deserve and no one would be wronged.

Good day nairalanders, I work in a private firm and earn half a million naira. I work on holidays and 6 days a week. Now my uncle just me that he has a slot in Nigeria immigration and wants me to join, I checked their salary and it’s way below what I make where I work.
In terms of job security, where I work isn’t that secured but we have staffs who have worked here for 10-15 years counting. Im confused…should I quit and join immigration or stay here and save up to start a business?

If you don't intend to go and steal money then your salary & allowances is the only you're entitled to. As for growth, salary whether private or public can't make you rich but saving to invest is what would make you rich if Almighty God wills that for you.

So a bird, at hand is better than a bird at large.
Stay where you are, and keep developing yourself until promotion opportunities open up.

Ultimately, success only comes from Almighty God, there do your best and pray for success! Hope this helps.

Good day! Personally, i dont advise washing your dirty laundry in public. However, since you have done it i'll chip in. I see the work of the devil here trying to divide your house it's not a question of who is right or wrong but who is letting the devil mislead them.

Now, envy and jealousy is a natural weakness of women and that's they tend to be toxic towards their in laws. Hence as a man, your default position should be to always assume good intentions from everyone until proven otherwise because you're the logical one and the protector of your family and your enemy is the devil not your family members.

Regarding your wife, my first impression is that she's trying her best to be accepted by your family and that usually comes out as doing too much. Also her chemistry with your nephew is natural because they most likely are of the same age group and have similar interests that's how humans like to interact.

Regarding your sister, you've already said it she's unhappy your wife turned down her food and that makes your wife unhappy and creates distrust between both of them. This is natural between women then don't trust each other especially in laws because she subconsciously feels your wife is a competition and coming to take what your parents worked for to give you which your sister feels is her right.


So all in all, it's just basic human psychology and survival instincts at play being weaponized by the devil to divide your household.

As a muslim, the solution is first of all as a man you're not allowed to make physical contact or freely mix with females you're not related by blood including your first cousins and your in laws within puberty and pre menopause. The same goes For your wife & she should not dress exposing her body to these categories of males, hence why muslim women wear the hijab. This commandment from God. You should lead by example practicing this and request the same boundaries from your wife and nephew. It'll be hypocritical if you don't practice what you preach.

The reason is simple: AVOID TEMPTATION. YOU WILL ALWAYS LOSE THE BATTLE AGAINST TEMPTATION JUST LIKE ADAM AND EVE DID.

As for your wife and sister, it's a question of forgiveness. Are they willing to forgive each other for the benefit of the family? They don't have to be friends but can you explain to them how the devil to trying to divide your household? Also ensuring them that you will not forsake either of them? that you would treat them both fairly? The worst mistake you can make is to pick a side. DO NOT DO THAT. Rather, get both of them together in the same room let everyone air their grievances and plead for forgiveness (not necessarily friendship) and how it's NONE of their faults but honest misunderstandings.

Again, understand the psychology and instincts at play and who the real enemy is the devil.

Marriage is the most difficult test a man would ever face and I ask Allah to bless your union.

Only the True Almighty can make you stop lying. Sounds simple but it works. You keep lying because you’ve perfected your craft and now you feel there’s no need to stop since you won’t get caught or even if you get caught you don’t care. Also lying for no reason can be due to whispers from the devil because he knows that’s your weakness so he will use it to misguide you. However if you believe the Almighty is seeing you and will punish you for your sins then you’ll think twice before you ever lie again. If you’re afraid of human beings and the devil you will continue to lie but if you’re afraid of the Almighty you will tell the truth even if it’s against yourself. To be honest, I've not observed any difference in terms of data performance or data depletion between Mobile/MiFi and Broadband plans. Though, when I spoke with an MTN staff who works in the broadband department, he told me that the broadband plans perform better than the regular ones. This, I am yet to observe myself.

it could be that theres no FUP (throttling) on broadband or it just marketing semantics!

Thanks for your suggestion! Based on your speed, it's safe to assume MTN has some midwave or mmWave also deployed. Do you mind sharing the location? Would be useful for quick downloads!

For iPhones, Apple, by default, doesn't support 5G networks. A carrier (MTN) has to ask Apple to include support for its own 5G network via software update. Apple has included support recently for MTN 5G via the Beta software program. So, if you have an iPhone 12, 13, 14, opt into the beta program, and download and install the lastest beta. Thereafter, you should be getting the 5G network. In the future, regular iPhone updates will continue to support MTN 5G.

For Samsung, it's the same for some of their devices, especially flagships. However, unlike Apple, Samsung is yet to officially push support for MTN 5G. So, you may find that MTN 5G works on Samsung devices and not others, even though they are same model, but different variant.
