You need a 5G MiFi that supports band N78 to access MTN 5G, and I don't think there is a 5G MiFi in the Nigerian market at the moment. However, if you can get a universal MiFi that supports 5G band N78, then yes, it will work.
By the way, 5G MiFis are very expensive.

MTN 5G is already live on iphone 12, 13 and 14. You simply need to enroll your device on the Apple beta software program, install the profile, and download and install the latest iOS 16 beta. Then restart your device. Go to network settings and choose the 5G option.

Basically the simplest analogy can be found in science through genetics. Genes can be past down to offsprings across several GENErations. In some cases this can be directly seen on the offspring in which case it is termed DOMINANT or other cases it may be passed down but not visible on the offspring therefore called RECESSIVE.

In OP’s case it’s most likely the latter. This means that OP inherited the resemblance genes of his father but not very evident compared to what he inherited from his mother, hence there were mostly RECESSIVE in him, however this genetic makeup was passed down to his son in whom they’re conspicuous hence DOMINANT.

Next time you see this wonderful phenomenon you should think of dominant vs recessive genes. The concept of reincarnation only exists in the cultural and religious beliefs and not science.

Taxify is only decieving drivers with the 10% increment in fare as in actual sense it is less than that; 200 basic fare remains, #10/min remains that only increased to #65 from #60/km (I'm not sure of this #65 sef). In many cases, no increase in fares (if compared to #60/km).

While they are obviously earning more from each min fare which remains #500 and drivers earn less from fares of #500 to #1,000 in most cases

I don’t mind the above rates at the moment. I’ll tell you why.
Uber reduced their fares in Abuja.
The new fare is as follow:
₦200.00 Base fare, reduced from #220
+₦6.00 per minute, increased from #5
+₦47.00 per km, reduced from #55

Uber is no longer profitable for part time. Only full time drivers can make profit now and that’s from bonuses which there first have to complete 26 trips before getting #200 for each additional trip.

Agreed. Uber is no longer profitable as a side hustle. The fares has been reduced by about 10% and replaced with bonuses. Now you only get this bonus after completing at least 26 rides. The only people that will benefit are full time drivers who will be compensated for the reduced fares by the bonuses. Speaking based on ABUJA current fare rates.

What this means it that, Uber is finally bowing to pressure from Taxify. Say what you want about Taxify but you have to respect their business strategy. Mind you Uber has not being making any profit globally for a few years now and I doubt they’re making any profit in nija.

I'm testing a new hypothesis, whether or not you get increased request when you set the radius of your driver app over 2km (say 3;4;5)

that's a no brainer. Of course you'd get increased requests, the question is at what cost? Cause you might end taking a rider to a distance shorter than you have traveled to pick the said rider up.

Rideme app programming is silly. Instead of limiting requests to a 5km radius max, the programmers de fire as deem fit. They do not want the app to say "no drivers in your current location"

same thing is applicable on taxify up to 40km radius, which is dependent on the driver app.

In my book, the only reason I'd go for/return to MTN or Etibaba for data in this price era over SWIFT, for one, is if SWIFT does not have service coverage in my zone.

MTN is not cheap. But with all the stories from users of glo, airtel & ntel. You'd agree with me that MTN is amongst the few reliable ones albeit pricey!

that's 3G speed at best. At night I get 5-6MB/s on MTN!

If you don't want to die of frustration, Don't buy the ntel WAWU sim. Right now, I'm regretting why I bought it. Ntel is very deceptive.

So, basically you are given two sims, one with 1gb data, and another with 10gb. You pay 1K for it all. The one with 1gb has 48hrs validity, after which it self-destructs. The one with 10gb is the one you are to keep.
But what they don't tell you is that, after using 5 out of the 10gb, they start throttling you. You can hardly get up to 100KB/s from then on. But the 1K you pay is actually loaded as airtime for you, so you can subscribe for the 1k/2gb plan, which gives you 12gb instead since the WAWU sim gives 500% bonus on every data plan.

So, after managing to exhaust the 10gb, I decided to use the 1k airtime to subscribe for the 12gb plan, but to my surprise, i've been throttled since yesterday, and it's very frustrating.

I can feel ur frustration, it has happened to me before. I'm still skeptical to try again. How far, have things changed or you're still being throttled?
