Someone with a Black Dot on the Palm, Call the Police Immediately! (See Why) See a person that has a black dot on the palm? You should call the police immediately, because it means that the person is in trouble. The “Black Dot Campaign” started on Facebook and it helps to recognize the victims of domestic abuse. “The black dot on the hand lets professionals know you’re a really vulnerable domestic violence survivor, and that you need help but can’t ask, because your abuser is watching your every move,” stated the organizers behind this campaign. In just 24 hours, the campaign has reached over 6,000 people worldwide, and has already helped 6 persons. This is a story from one of the first women which was rescued thanks the “Black Dot Campaign.” “I’m heavily pregnant and the baby’s father is very abusive. With words, his hands. I’ve been petrified for so long and even more with the baby coming soon. I was at the hospital yesterday, he was with me, he never leaves my side anymore. I had to have an examination so the consultant asked me to lie on the bed and drew the curtain. I leant over and took the pen out of his pocket, pulled his hand over to me and wrote HELP ME. I didn’t have to say a word. This campaign gave me the strength and the idea how to ask for help. I am now safe somewhere else thanks to that consultant and the “Black Dot Campaign.” Thank you, 1 week to go until my due date and I am finally safe.” For many victims, this campaign is enabling to speak out for the very first time. SHOCKING: Governor Mimiko Disgraced And Treated Like A Criminal By The DSS. This afternoon, on his way to Bayelsa to visit Governor Dickson of Bayelsa state and also accompany him to some last minute campaign outing, Governor Mimiko's plane was invaded by men of the DSS immediately they landed in Port Harcourt. The DSS team who claimed to be working with orders from above denied the occupants of the plane exit from the plane for almost 2 hours. They ransacked the jet and all the bags onboard. The passengers, including the Governor were searched thoroughly by the men of the DSS before letting them go as nothing was found on them. They did not disclose reasons for their action or what it was they were looking for to the terrified Governor. There's speculations that the DSS was hoping to find money or ballot papers but nothing of such was found. More details coming soon..... |

By Mike Mbonye Johannesburg, Dec. 22, 2015 (NAN) The Nigeria Union in South Africa on Tuesday presented money to 11 Nigerian families in the nine provinces of that country to celebrate the Christmas. The President of the union, Mr Ikechukwu Anyene, said in Johannesburg, South Africa, that the fund was raised from public spirited Nigerians in that country. `` The purpose is to extend Christmas wishes to less privileged Nigerian families in South Africa to enable them enjoy the Yuletide. `` We pleaded with well to- do- Nigerians in South Africa to donate to the initiative and they responded positively. `` The union felt that before people travel for the holidays, there was need to raise funds to help Nigerians who lacked money to buy groceries to prepare a decent Christmas meal,`` he said. According to Anyene, each family received the sum of R,1000 (N22,000) to celebrate the Christmas. `` The union will improve on the initiative next year and we will start early. `` We also call on corporate bodies and wealthy Nigerians to support the humanitarian projects of the union,’’ he said. Mrs Anastasia Amadi, the Coordinator of the project and leader of the Nigerian Women League in South Africa, said families in need in the nine provinces of South Africa were selected to benefit from the gesture. `` We carefully selected some Nigerian families that needed support to enable them celebrate the Christmas. `` This is an initiative of the Nigeria Union and it is a step in the right direction,`` she said. Durban - The Nigeria Union in Kwazulu-Natal Province in South Africa on Wednesday filed a petition with the police to protest the alleged killing of a Nigerian businessman on November 21. The Chairman of the union in the province, Bartholomew Eziagulu, disclosed in Durban, South Africa, that the union asked the police to investigate the incident and prosecute the culprits. Eziagulu alleged that the businessman, John Onyedibia, 35, and father of two children, was shot by the police in his shop in Durban. He said the deceased’s younger brother witnessed the incident and reported it to the union. He said the union staged a peaceful protest over the incident and drew the attention of the provincial administration to investigate it. Eziagulu said that the union was not opposed to the arrest and prosecution of any member who contravened South African laws. The President of the umbrella Nigeria Union in South Africa, Mr Ikechukwu Anyene, said it had received the report of the incident from the Kwazulu Natal chapter. "We support the action taken by the provincial chapter and reiterate that we will continue to protect the welfare of Nigerians in South Africa. "The union also requested the police to investigate the incident and take necessary action," he said.
