PoliticsRe: Senate Rejects Bill To Recognise Anambra As Oil Producer by Collynzo9: 2:47pm On Dec 17, 2014
ilugunboy:
How can you claim that Anambra is an oil producing state? It's is this unnecessary type of haste that is agitating others that are laying a claim to the oil location.

Let the boundary delineation commitee submit it report before you can make definitive statement about the status of Anambra as an oil producing state..
The disputed oil wells are not the only ones in Anambra, there are others currently producing.
The senator definitely did not present his case like a learned person, but it doesn't mean that Anambra is not an oil producing state.

It is only right to cure the affliction of ignorance when discovered, so please kindly enlighten me on how Abia is an oil producing state.

And Imo?

How and when did they start producing oil? I'm not talking discovery of crude oil presence, I am talking production in the class of Bayelsa, Rivers, Akwa Ibom.
Both states have a combined total of over 300 oil wells steadily producing oil which is exported and the revenue shared among states in Nigeria including your rusty south west states.
Production might not be in the same class with Akwa Ibom, but if the revenue accrued is kept withing the state, it will be 10 times higher than what they currently receive from the FG
Hope that explanation helps.

pls try and get your fact right, Buhari never plotted the coup. He was just called upon to the lead the government as the only sincere person they can trust. As for the people he is associating with, he need those people to win election and after that he will put them to where they rightly belong. As for the islamisation of Nigeria, that can not be possible in this present dispensation and PDP are just propaganting those false allegation to denied us the true leader we deserve.
I don't know why you Buhari minnions cannot stop lying on his behalf. Buhari himself has admitted plotting the coup several times, the last one being less than 2 weeks ago on Channels TV where he said he doesn't feel sorry about it.
You guys project your master with nothing but lies.

The problem with TAN-crier is that they dont read to understand. How can that statement be directed at amaechi alone when he was not the only one that decamped to apc for political gain? Of all the aspirants at the primaries, only Buhari and isaiah were not once member of pdp before. Didnt that tell u that some decamped to the apc for political gain and, the statement above cannot be directed at Amaechi alone?
Whether Amaech alone or Amaechi + some others, does it change the fact that Tinubu blasted him?
Can you name those interested in running for VP and at the same time against Tinubu's candidacy from news reports we have read in recent times?
Whose name comes first?
PoliticsDid Tinubu Blast Governor Amaechi In His Press Release? by Collynzo9(op): 8:47am On Dec 17, 2014

Former Lagos governor, Bola Tinubu has in the
strongest terms rejected a report by news site,
Sahara Reporters that he sold out the defunct
Action Congress of Nigeria, ACN, and its presidential candidate in the 2011 elections, Nuhu Ribadu to President Goodluck Jonathan and his platform, the Peoples Democratic Party, PDP. Tinubu, the leader of the opposition All
Progressives Congress, APC, had allegedly met
Jonathan behind closed-doors in Abuja, two nights before the last general elections. He reportedly softened his stance to the president’s election after he was informed of evidence that he is indeed guilty of a perjury despite his denials. In fact, a presidential jet was said to have conveyed him from Lagos to Abuja to see President Jonathan. Jonathan’s Aide-de-Camp, alongside the then Chief of Staff, Mike Oghiadomhe were alleged to had flown to Lagos in the jet that conveyed Jagaban, as he is fondly called, to the seat of power, Aso Rock. But Tinubu, reacting to a Sahara Reporters publication “Threat of Perjury Trial: How Jonathan Blackmailed Bola Tinubu before 2011 Presidential Election”, said the unfolding smear campaign against him was no surprise.
A statement by his media office Tuesday night, said “It had been in the works for years since the Jonathan-led government realized that Tinubu commanded a powerful political followership. The successful merger and birth of the APC posed the most potent threat to the PDP and Tinubu an architect of the merger has become a marked man.” Continuing, the lengthy rebuttal stated that “The thought of a Buhari-Tinubu ticket confounds the PDP hierarchy and their crisis-battered president.
That Tinubu might be nominated as General Buhari’s running mate also incenses the small element within the APC who joined the party not for its progressive vision but to exploit its platform to press forward their vision of themselves.

“Having failed at halting General Buhari’s bid, the PDP disinformation machine has thrown itself into overdrive trying to stymie the selection of Tinubu.
Sadly, some elements within the APC – elevating their personal ambition over party and national interests — have lent themselves to this endeavor.

When will you dimwits make good use of your brains even if it is for once?

What has this got to do with APC and Shettima again? Isnt it the presidency that employed Dr Stephen Davies to help negotiate for the release of the abducted chibok girls?

Isnt it the presidency that recently told us that they negotited a acease fiee deal with on fictitious Ahmadu Danladi, Boko Harams seretary general only for the whole ceasefire deal to turn being a scam?

Why must the presidency always blame others for the poor handling of the Boko Haram insurgency?
Shut up fool!
The Presidency never employed Davis to carry out any negotiation, they have consistently denied that. Davied himself denied the claim and admitted that he was working on his own as he couldn't get access to the President.
Before calling someone a dimwit, get your own facts right.

It is utterly shameful dat APGA & Ohaneze ndigbo continue to choose bigotry & shortsightedness over d national interest.
Realizing dat GEJ has failed nigeria woefully, entreaties were made to all political parties to join hands in a grand alliance to form a major opposition to d PDP & save nigeria frm d evil grip of corruption. Unfortunately there was a problem - while other tribes will in d national interest withdraw their support frm even theirs if cited for corruption, wrongdoing or incompetence, ndigbo will rather support even barefaced crimininalty as far as it is perpetrated by an igbo or as in dis case an Azikiwe whom they see as theirs. APGA & d Ohaneze made it clear that their choice was to go on wit d monumental failure dat is GEJ & d PDP. d few igbo dat knew dat CPC, AC, APGA & other regional parties could not save nigeria & opted to join dis national movement to save Nigeria received all sorts of opposition & oppobrium frm d shortsighted bigots. At d end of d day sycophancy to d PDP is shortsighted. If u think other nigerians bearing d economic brunt of dis clueless govt will go on dis way & vote 4 GEJ again just to satisfy d shortsightedness of a section of society, u ar on a long thing. d clueless one is on d homestrech of his inept presidency. The governorship candidate of the Peoples Democratic Party in Imo State, who is also the Deputy Speaker of the House of Representatives, Emeka Ihedioha, has issued a quit notice to Governor Rochas Okorocha. Ihedioha, who spoke at a public lecture in Owerri, the Imo State capital, at the weekend, said his emergence as the PDP candidate for the 2015 governorship election in the state meant an end to the reign of the ruling All Progressive Congress. He asked Okorocha to prepare his handover note as “PDP will reclaim the state come May 29, 2015.” He said Imo State under his watch would become a model of democracy, promising to bring his 12 years of legislative experience to bear in the governance of the state. He said Imo would witness peace and rancour- free relationship among all its three arms of government. Ihedioha also slammed Okorocha for allegedly abolishing local government system in the state, saying the governor’s substitution of the council system with community development government was “strange to the Nigerian constitution.” He accused Okorocha of “executive impunity” and that he had insulted the intelligence of the people of the state through “his various policies and programmes which are neither here or there.” Ihedioha said, “He (Okorocha) said he is building new hospitals. What has happened to all the General Hospitals in the state? Why not rehabilitate them instead of building new ones on the roads or does he want vehicle to knock down our people as they go for medical attention?”
He accused the governor of maladministration and promised to reverse his “ill- advised policies” if voted into power.

So who should Igbos vote for, Buhari?
Talking about roads, how many did Buhari build or maintain in the east as head of state and as PTF chairman under Abacha? 0? 1? How many?
He overthrew President Shagari who actually built roads in the east, he over threw some of our best governors of all time like Sam Mbakwe - the inner roads he built in Owerri and Aba are still there for all to see, he had more to achieve but Buhari cut short his tenure.
What about Jim Nowobodo who achieved so much for Enugu, Anambra and Ebonyi and still had more in stock? Buhari ousted them all.

What did he do with power after that? He sheepishly handed it to IBB.
