Ok, you have to be more careful with the comments you make. Vultures (like the idîot above)are lurking around looking for whatever they can use in turning the south east against GEJ. They make it seem like Buhari is the answer to all. I had to open a thread yesterday asking what BUhari did for the South east or even their won South west when he was head of state and PTF chairman, none of them could come up with any answer.
GBTYO and Truckpusher, seriously I wonder how some of you argue. The simple thing you should have done was to ask that Olapluto guy what Buhari did for the Niger deltans as Head of state and PTF chairman, and watch him run away from the thread. Instead you both were going back and forth with him.
Tlovely: go n stop him na. otondo..u dnt even deserve 2 be called otondo...u wld cause dis ur hatred 4 rochas swallow u one day.. what d man has done 2 u guys, i still cant imagine... a man should apologise 4 running as a presidential aspirant in a party's primary...dis is so nauseating...they cant even get or understand d impression dis man is creating by the things he does...how many of the blackass ibo brothers including the numbskull talking, has been able to cum out n try wat this guy has tried as an ibo man, with all the marginalisation d ibo faces n are fighting in d political scene in nigeria, even as crucial n important as they are in course of affairs..win or lose, he has created a very strong impression in a dormant scene hovered by brigands n slowpoke like that gay asking him to apologise..wat is d gaurantee that they wld give u the vp if he had not contested?..mumu.... this is d only man that has been able to ganner such popularity n courage to stand against all odds n challange d big wigs as an ibo man..n ppl still dread him in the political scene as oppositions escpecially in the state...i wonder y some e-diots wit no liver or identity wld still come out after hiding behind their cocoon with their lilly livered self , to open their foul mouth asking the most popular igbo governor(kill urself if u like)..to apologist to dier stewpid self... political cowards n mischievous brigands...i dont blame them...this is so nauseating of dem..tufiakwa....wit their foolishness in open glare they still open their mouth to talk..let him go n give the region a sixth state now...foolish e-diot.. is to open his mouth n yarn bullshit...self haters...broda stabbers..numbskull...his nottin an ibo man...such ppl irritate me wen i hear them talk..it wld be clear that he speaks from d pit of hatred in his heart for d man...nshi.ko..
Tony Ekwus, your 5 years in FUTO was a waste. Instead of you to give good reasons why Rochas should be elected as Imo state governor for a 2nd term, you went went on a meaningless rant.
Ojiofor: the North are still indebted to ndigbo.when are they paying back for our support to shagari and yaradua?
Don't mind them, they didn't say all this when we supported Yar'adua and Obasanjo who are not Igbos. Yar'adua was a muslim and a Fulani just like Buhari but we had no problems voting him in. We have voted people from almost all the regions in Nigeria, yet you will still hear some of them say that they will not support Igbos for Presidency because Igbos didn't support them. Lol.
waternogetemeny: Trial and error is not good, if u can get it right on first attempt.. I was oppose to the whole APC experiment. Rochas had tried for so long to be Gov and finally APGA presented that opportunity but the way he decamp to APC was not nice.
I mean wat was the rush, with GEJ in power. If APC had given him the Tiket so he would have contested against GEJ? This is the problem we have as Ndiigbo, we dont hunt in packs. Politics is not a one man show like business. In politics to succeed u wmust work as a very large teamm and hunt in packs of one for all and all for one, not every man for himself.
Rochas might learn this lesson the hard way, if he does not make a convincing case to retain his office based on his performance this last 4 years.
We should focus on producing capable governors, the Presidency thing does not help anyone from the president's tribe. The Ijaws were seriously clamouring for resource control before they were bribed with a vice-president and then President position. Are they better off now? No, the man wasn't even allowed to rule in peace. Even without doing much for his people, he was tagged an ethinc President, an Igo man will be tagged a Biafran President if he dares site even a bore hole in the east. There are more important things to bother about than a Presidency that wouldn't help us. We should be more concerned about holding our governors accountable for now.
waternogetemeny: pass time u say? explain, becos i had the impression Rochas is a doer.
Rochas is a trial and error man, what he did in the APC primaries is what he does even with road projects. He said he was too big to be just a governor some months back, so why does he want a second tenure? He wants to pass time in Douglas house since he couldn't get to where he wants.
berem: Engr Amadi, did you watch the heroic welcome given to Rochas from the Sam Mbakwe airport to the government house when he came home? I hope you are not hypertensive o! I would like you to watch the video of the heroic welcome on Channels TV.
I just watched the video, there is nothing special about that crowd. His cabinet members and workers in government house alone are enough to surpass that. Besides Rochas is a show man to the core and we know the length he can go to make thing appear the way he wants.
waternogetemeny: I dont know wat Rochas has done so far apart from build better school that offer free education to university. HE is building roads and promise much more and i want to see the change by 2019 , if he is going to contest Presidency again. 4 more years is not much.
Chukwuemeka Ihedioha should stay put and contest for speaker. He mustn't make it easy for GEJ. Ndiigbo have not had either the Speaker or Senate President. We put in the vote and should get something substantial out.
Wat do u think?
What nonsense free education and what schools? How many of the ''freely educated'' people are able to find jobs in Imo state? I have no idea what you are talking about, but 4 more years of a man who just wants to pass time in Imo state government house is definitely too much and Imolites are too enlightened to let that happen.
Adminisher: I explained that. Suppose GEJ were not so corrupt maybe corruption would not have been an issue and Buhari would have simply faded and younger candidates like Rochas, Ngige and so on would have had an easier time. Atikus money could not even do jack. It is love hangover from Buhari's first foray into governance. Ibos have been playing a vengeance game that will backfire,. I noticed they never showed interest in jobathan until he started having problems with the north. When the yardua cabal was fighting him no ibo man stood up to be counted. It was obj, tinubu, the sw press and western embassies that took up the fight. Obj even bullied the yaradua family and 419ed Tinubu and the south west into supporting this inferior being called GEJ, all this while no word from Ohaneze Ndigbo, of course there was no TAN then. The main point here is that Ibo support for Jonathan only came after the north started holding him to his promise of single term. Guess who mobilised Ibo support for Jonathan, Stella odua, dieziani, mama peace et.c..so obasanjo was not wrong about tge women that own Jonathan.
Dora Akunyili, an Igbo woman was the one who actually took the boldest step towards dislodging the Yara'dua cabal. While your Yoruba men were playing hide and seek games, none of them came out to openly speak against what the Yaraduas were doing but Dora Akunyili didn't just speak up against it, she also presented a paper at a Federal Executives Council meeting to that effect, that move marked the turning point in the whole fiasco. As for the other trash you wrote, how come the Igbos supported GEJ with maximum votes in the 2011 elections long before any talk of 2nd term came up. When will you Yorubas learn how to mind your businesses and leave Igbos alone? Must we tow the same path with you?
waternogetemeny: Though, i think he should have stayed put in APGA. I can understand that he is providing Ndiigbo with representation in APC as we mustn't put all our egg in one basket and based on that i respect him as a correct Igbo man.
It is not about party, Okorocha is not interested in governing Imo state, he said it months ago in an interview. His eyes are somewhere else, he is just using Imo state to pass time. His governance so far has been just like his APC presidential bid - trial and error. He has no clear plan for Imo state in any sector.
iamrealdeji: Phuck you for saying that, your father should have worn a condom rather than having you,you guys can never be satisfied, what else do you want from this man? After hearing his daughter married an easterner and converted to christianity, you're still not pleased?
God punish your useless parents. So I should vote for Buhari because of that rubbish you wrote up there?
zimoni: My point is these threads about Buhari's past are enough.
Simply vote Jonathan and stop opening threads for Buhari.
Buhari made some mistakes in the past and we all know it.
Let the best candidate emerge. I'm even confused on whom to vote for out of the two of them.
The worst that may happen is post-election violence. It's only a fool that would be slaughtered in the North next year.
Anything that would break Nigeria into pieces is okay by me.
One Nigeria my azz.
Buari is contesting to be the president of Nigeria in 2015, so we have every right to talk about his past, present and even his future. If they can tell us why we shouldn't vote for GEJ, we can as well tell them why they shouldn't vote for Buhari. Simple.
OneNaira6: Interesting yet the same set of people are taking panadol on who Igbo supports. Maybe Igbos should stay taking panadol on their support to Buhari because honestly, from this write up, They are extremely stup1d to support that man t
That is it bro, whenever they call us fools for supporting GEJ, we can always respond with ten reasons why they are the real fools for supporting Buhari
Facts emerged on Friday that the All Progressives Grand Alliance has compelled members of the ruling Peoples Democratic Party who defected to the party to sign an undertaking before they would be given the party’s tickets. Scores of the aggrieved members of the PDP had on Tuesday shunned the reconciliation committee headed by King Amalate Turner and picked the tickets of APGA to fly the flag of the party to contest the 2015 elections. The PDP members such as a former President of the Ijaw Youth Congress, Mr. Jonjon Oyeinfa, and a former Commissioner in Bayelsa State, Zuwa Kodugah, picked the tickets to represent their various constituencies at the next general election in the state on the platform of APGA. Kodugah, until recently, was a commissioner for State Capital Development under the administration of Governor Seriake Dickson. However, it was learnt that APGA accepted the defecting PDP members on the condition that they would sign an undertaking, promising that they would not abandon the party when elected into the state and national assemblies in 2015. The APGA state chairman, Mr. John Sokare, while intimating journalists on the development, said though acts of defection by politicians was not new to Nigerian politics, APGA had insisted that all flag bearers of the party must sign an undertaking to abide by the party’s constitution. Sokare said, “We have laid out our conditions for the state and National Assembly aspirants. In spite of the fact that we are friendly and disposed to the election of President Goodluck Jonathan in 2015, we asked them to abide by our party rules on performance. “We also asked them to develop a new disposition to infrastructural development, women and youths empowerment, and they should be accessible to the people when elected into office. “They will be formally made to sign an undertaking on all of these and our disposition to issue of cross- carpeting after being elected on our platform as a party.” On the claim that the mass defection of PDP members into the fold of APGA was influenced by the wife of the President, Patience Jonathan, Sukare dismissed the claim as “fictitious”, insisting that those elected as flagbearers of the party were committed and needed a platform to actualise their dream of contributing to the development of the state.
theV0ice: all that is there is a photo of a page which could have been printed by your very good self. has the newspaper no name? has it been closed down?
berem: that is why you should ignore them. Most of them were merely toddlers and kindergartens when PTF was created. At least I was in my late teen and I saw things for my self the achievements of PTF. For someone to now say you should go get pictures and articles to prove to you what you physically witnessed is outrightly stoopid!
Tell us the things you saw. That is if you were even in the South east then. Yoy and your group have based your criticism of GEJ's performance in the south east mainly on the state of Federal roads. Now, tell us just one (1) road Buhari built or maintained in that region. If you can mention just one, I will abandon this thread.
docadams: I wish I can. The SE is part of me. The masquerade who mention my name knows that.
You cannot sell Buhari in the South east by telling us he donated boots and lab coats to hospitals, maybe you should try that in your Delta state. We are still waiting for people who know this secret to reveal it to us. What did Buhari do for the South east as head of state and PTF chairman?
docadams: If this is the level your intelligence has brought you to then I cannot help you.
Alright Amos Adams. Now go and preach the good news of Uhari to your people in Delta state. You have done a very poor job at convincing we Igbos that Buhari has our interest at heart and deserves our vote. Sorry about that.
Lies and propaganda from the useless Osun defender. We won't vote Buhari because he spent christmas in Anambra. Come to this thread and tell us what he did for the South east as head of state and PTF chairman. www.nairaland.com/2043648/what-did-buhari-south-east/3#28869126
docadams: I lived in the east for 16 years schooling and later working in Enugu, Owerri, Nnewi, and Onitsha. I will ignore your insult because of the universal belief that those with the propensity to insult are usually emotionally and mentally unstable. My sojourn in the SE was mostly in the hospitals and is where PTF impact was mostly felt. Here is a list of some of the things we got in UNTH from PTF: ambulances, theater gowns and boots, drugs laboratory equipment and hospital beds. These items were continually replenished when required during the life span of the agency. My advice to you is that instead of being intellectually lazy try and establish correspondence with UNN and UNTH with a view to ascertaining the extent of PTF intervention when it existed.
Amos Adams, so donating gowns and boots that even private individuals do regularly were Buhari's achievements in the South east? Only God will forgive you for this insult.
