texazzpete:Talking about being poorly educated, do you know the meaning of ''conscripts''? When last did the Nigerian Army conscript anyone? Not since the civil war. What has your NDA crap got to do with the issue at hand? Below are more quotes from the Chief of Army staff, it contains views I have long held and can attest to. Can you point out where he was referring to ''conscripts''? That is if your so called sound education taught you the meaning of that word. Blaming it on the fact that most people, who joined the military in recent times, do so out of the need for employment and not passion for military service, Minimah said, “Desertion is part of warfare. Are your NDA graduates somehow exempted from those who joined the military for the sole reason of making money? “But we need to have a thorough recruitment because mind you, there is high level of unemployment on ground; most people want jobs and if that job means joining the army fine. It is a source of employment.www.nigerianeye.com/2014/07/some-soldiers-chicken-out-of-battle.html?m=1 |
This should be Boko haram's first attack on Niger state, If I am not mistaking. Hmmm |
fitzmayowa:If it is not cowardice tell me what it is. Even their Chief knows that. Nigeria Army is not conscripting anyone and hasn't done so for a long time, let those who VOLUNTARILY signed up do what they signed up for. www.nigerianeye.com/2014/07/some-soldiers-chicken-out-of-battle.html?m=1 |
alekside:Why not tomorrow? Why go that far? Idiat! |
fitzmayowa:Is Mayowa related to you? Many more died as a result of his cowardice. |
darqly:Ask your Chief of Army Staff, he seems to share the same view with me. ''Most pple want jobs, even if it means joining the Army when the reality of military service comes he drops his rifle & runs away" |

seanet02:Hammed Lasisi you died a long time ago. Cry your hearts out. Afoanu |
Reptyle:Trash! He signed up for his monthly pay cheque amd nothing else. That is why his type are always running away from battle handing over weapons to boko haram |
A young Nigerian army officer Lt Mayowa Areago, (pictured below ) was shot dead three days ago while retreating from a mission to fight the Boko Haram in Borno stateMayowa retreating from the war front? Nothing new there. These are the same people that will re-appear from no where to claim victory when others have done the dirty job. |
Absolute nonsense! |
@ Kaboninc do not bother agrguing further with that pleb named Eko Ile AKA Plaindealer AKA Agbameta AKA arresa, his dishonest and evil intentions have already been laid bare for all sensble people to see. Good night |
kaboninc:Thank you for the bolded, I already provided 2 links to prove that. I pity for anybody that allows himself to be deceived by a 2-faced Yoruba twät like Arresa. See the way he was listing heaven and earth as things GEJ has done for his people and other regions just to incite Igbos, he is the same person that will swear to vote Jonathan out the next minute because he didn't perform. Why should anyone take such a deceptive person seriously? |
Chiwude:I asked the guy specific questions, you could have attemped answering them on his behalf instead of this your long epistle. Who said there will be no private partnership in the Lagos - Ibadan road construction? Looks like you are new to Yoruba deceptive tactics. www.punchng.com/news/investors-to-raise-n116bn-for-lagos-ibadan-expressway-reconstruction/ www.dailyindependentnig.com/2014/02/nsia-in-talks-to-part-finance-lagos-ibadan-road-project/ . Besides there is an existing bridge that is always open for use to those who will not want to pay toll. Let the bridge be completed first, then the issue of tolls can be discussed properly. Remember the saying ''Yes sir no dey cause wahala''. |
waternogetemeny:lol see trolling |
Obasanjo a Southern Yoruba man was President under PDP for 8 years. Gooluck Jonathan a Southern Ijaw man has been President under PDP for the pasrt 5 years. Now tell me why your APC cannot present Fashola, whom you guys worship, as their Presidential candidate? Why can't they present any other southerner for that matter? |
Johnnyessence:Hahahaha You are a dumb joker. |
waternogetemeny:I don't understand you, there are many other credible candidates running for the post and unlike Ihejirika, they have actually declared interest. I don't know why you think any person other than Ihejirika will be worse than T.A Orji. Can you tell me why? |
Buhari lost an election and killed 800 people immediately afterwards and thousands more later. That is all I saw |
waternogetemeny:Has he shown any real interest in contesting? |
arresa:Idiotic 2 faced twät, is that all you can come up with? |
Igbo women are just too beautiful No wonder FFK will not stop mastûrbating over her. |
asha80:Corrected. |
@ Arresa since GEJ has done all that for you and your people, why do you still hate him? Or is it just the typical Yoruba attitude of talking from both sides of the mouth? When you want to call him a clueless President, you claim he hasn't done anything for your people and the country as a whole, when you want to incite Igbos against him, you claim he has done heaven and earth for your people but hasn't done anything for Igbos. 2 faced twät. |
I so saw this coming and I will continue to laugh at people who say APGA is dying. It just doesn't make sense for this man to be coming from the same party that produced the failure called T.A. Orji even though they have nothing else in common. Welcome to APGA Oti. Anambra - Obiano (APGA) Imo - Iheanacho (APGA) Abia - Oti (APGA) Iseeeeeee! |
Ex-Diamond Bank MD dumps PDP, picks APGA guber form A Former Managing Director of Diamond Bank Plc, Dr. Alex Oti, on Tuesday in Abuja dumped the Peoples Democratic Party and picked the All Progressives Grand Alliance nomination form for the 2015 governorship elections in Abia State. Meanwhile, APGA has rescheduled its activities for the conduct of its primaries to select its candidates for next year’s elections. Oti picked the APGA governorship nomination form after paying the N2 million for the expression of interest and the N10 million for the nomination form at the APGA national headquarters. He premised his decision to join APGA on his strong beliefs in the party’s ideology and his “determination to rescue Abia State from total collapse.” Oti said, “I have left the PDP and to me, coming to APGA is like home-coming. I like to use this opportunity to thank APGA leadership for warmly welcoming me to your office and welcoming me home. I have always said that APGA is not a political party but a religion for Nigerians, some of you will recall that when our national leader (Chukwuemeka Ojukwu) died, we did everything to make sure that he was given a befitting burial. I was the Chairman of the finance sub-committee. “I am very happy to be back home, we have a mission to take back our state and put it back on the part of progress and industrialization. We have started that journey, we know that there are a whole lot we could do. When I look at Aba, I regret that I did not take this decision to serve my people. It is a great sacrifice for me to leave what I was doing until a few weeks ago. But it is not too late, we are here to win and we must win.” The National Chairman of APGA, Chief Victor Umeh while welcoming Oti back to the party assured every aspirant on the party’s platform of a level- playing field. According to him, APGA was determined to win more seats in next year’s general elections. www.punchng.com/news/ex-diamond-bank-md-dumps-pdp-picks-apga-guber-form/ |
No fewer than 7000 persons will be taken off the labour market in Abia State as construction work has commenced on the site of a petro-chemical plant in the state. The project located at Mbarakuma-Ubakala area of Umuahia on the Enugu- Port Harcourt Expressway, had last week been flagged off by Governor Theodore Orji. According to the Chairman of the firm, Chief Etugo- Ndubuisi Ogah, 3,000 direct, and 4,000 indirect jobs would be created when the $6 million plant finally comes on board. In an interview with The PUNCH on Monday in Umuahia, Ogah said that part of the fund for the gigantic project had been acquired through the Bank of Industry under the Automobile fund scheme. He also said that already, an Indian technical partner, the Onella Group, had arrived the country to help in realising the project expected to be delivered in 36 months time. According to him, other products apart from petro- chemicals to be produced in the plant include: motorcycle and tricycle tyres, tubes, motor batteries, detergents among others. He said the state government had already provided land as part of its contribution to the actualization of the project, assuring that the project would be delivered on schedule. Ogah hinted that arrangements had also been concluded to locate a 5000 KVA power plant on the premises of the firm for constant power supply, adding that when the entire project is finally realised, Abia State will consolidate its position as the industrial commercial hub of the South East geopolitical zone. www.punchng.com/ |
