Saladin25: You are right I know a lot of Yoruba guys that served in the west. But you will never see Yoruba people shouting or turned to a chest beater on this forum. you guys make a lot of noise here. Have you been to eastern states to see the number of igbos still serving there. You talk about exam malpractice as if it's not common in west. I wrote my waec in Lagos and I know what I saw there. Wrote jamb many times which majority of those times were in Lagos and I also know what I saw.. Have you been to schools in anambra state and see how organized majority of their schools are. Come to Unizik and other schools here you will see many Igbos that had their secondary education in west with wonderful grades yet struggling You people should just stop this nonsense comparison, let's focus in making this country great again. Congrats to Galadima |

Education › Students Protest In Unizik Over The Death Of A Final Student Of Microbiology by comrChris(op): 12:37pm On Jul 23, 2018*. Modified: 3:49pm On Jul 23, 2018 |
Happening now in Unizik, students protesting over the nonchalant attitude of the school clinic workers which led to the death of one final year student of microbiology. The young promising man identified simply as Francis was said to have slumped during a basketball competition before he was rushed to the hospital where he died. Francis was meant to write his last paper on Monday, July 23. The deceased was rushed to the school’s clinic but there was no doctor on ground or oxygen to help stabilize him, none of the clinic ambulance drivers was around to take him to another. At last he was later rushed to another hospital where he was confirmed dead.. If you are schooling in Unizik, you would agree with me that something need to be done fast about that clinic and workers there. Enough is enough. The worst is that security personnels refused to allow the aggrieved students pass beyond garba square not to talk of going to admin. RIP Francis

With this kind of recycling it will be difficult for ekiti to experience any meaningful development. Fayemi performed woefully in his first term as a governor...with all the professors ekiti claim to have, it's only fayose, fayemi and Segun oni are worthy enough to rule the state.. Very shameful |

Butterflyleo: Ekiti used to be one of the most educationally driven states in Nigeria until Fayose came so do not be deceived, they have lots of intelligent people who will understand him and pass the word around that he is far better than who they have now and by extension who that one wishes to impose on them.
The grassroots understand the language of hardship and fayose has made it glaring with his stomach Infrastructure. They people want a better life and not handouts. stop fooling yourself, was there no debate in 2014, where did Fayemi's grammar take him to? People are wiser |

I refuse to fall for this, I and the people around me are wiser now. Is buhari just knowing that Obj spent or stole our $16b? Why has he not probe him all these while? Because Obj is against his reelection, he suddenly remembers he spent $16b on electricity.
It's obvious Apc and Buhari don't understand what change is or they don't have the change they promised. I think the later is their problem, they don't have the change and can not offer us any thing...

If restructuring comes to reality, the whole South-South will be the richest region in the country. You are waiting for Nigeria to be restructured before you will become the richest lol..what exactly is stopping you from being the richest now? Your corrupt politicians and your laziness because of your so called oil is the problem of south south not restructuring.. |

dokyOloye: Bros, easy with d half truths (make I no call am lie). There is a sizeable and noticable Muslim population in Enohia in Afikpo. You can't have lived, born or stayed in Afikpo wtout noticing them. In fact, if you've ever been to Unwana Fed Polytechnic, you can't miss them. I'm from the central senatorial zone but know all these more than 15yrs ago. thank God you said Enohia, if you read my post well you would have seen where I pointed out that it's only that particular place the school is located that you will see few Muslims if at all they are Muslims. Am not arguing there is no such school in Afikpo but people coming online to claim that many people have been converted to Islam in Afikpo Like I said I was born and brought up in Afikpo, I had both my primary and secondary education in Afikpo. When I knew such school exist in Afikpo was in my ss3 when I was going to poly uwana for my sisters matriculation. You can do your research, they don't teach those children Islam in that school, it's a normal school and they have an agreement with the community. So except that Enohia side the school is located, it's not that known in Afikpo |
Politics › Re: How I Was Led To Become Shi’ite Muslim – Igbo Member Of The Islamic Movement by comrChris(m): 1:35pm On May 20, 2018 |
omokab: stop saying what you don't have knowledge about it. There are many muslim in the east. Majority from ebonyi state at afikpo. Enugu and imo state especially from mabaise also have muslims. You can call home to make your findings. I know all this places very well and I have met many muslim from that side so don't say I'm sayinh what I don't know. Have you been to Afikpo? How many Afikpo Muslim have you seen? You people should stop saying what you don't know. I'm from Afikpo n am yet to see an Afikpo Muslim, infact if you are not from that particular place the school is you will grow up not knowing there is a school like that in Afikpo. I almost finished secondary school before I noticed such school is in Afikpo. |

lustychima: Hmmm Nigerians and hypocrisy.... Especially those supporting the opposing party And many of them come from my region
The reasonable age to involve in politics is 18yrs and above, anything below that is not welcomed
Some shameless dolts from my region is claiming he has done well to deserve kids exploitation, yet ebonyi men and women are scattered all over IMO (okigwe, ideato south and ideato north) as palm wine tappers and labourers
Scattered in anambra doing farm work for people, pushing wheel barrow, hacking gala and soft drink in enugu and Aba
Ohaozara, amasiri, afikpo, ikwo is still a bush... Infested from lassa fever to guinea worm
Shame on dolts that support political madness all coz of political affiliation
Same thing we criticize north for.... That's wat we are celebrating in the east now
Shame
Supporting opposition party doesn't mean you brain should go in opposition to common sense
This is why I hate politics in this country Did you just say Afikpo is a bush? I think it's better you keep shut when you have no knowledge about a thing or place.. |

Chamber10: Let's stop deceiving ourselves with this all these pictures of crowd coming to welcome the president or any other person. It is not a sign that the person is doing well esp in African setting. Many of them came for different reasons; some came to catch a glimpse of him, some came to watch display of activities, some came because they are jobless, some came because they were rented, some came because they love him etc After-all, crowd gather when a criminal is caught? Does it means the crowd is in solidarity with the criminal? People gather for different purposes abeg. Spare us all this crowd this, crowd that. Lets talk about pressing issues that needs 21st century ideas on how to tackle them. finally someone has said something meaningful. I can even see some children on that tree. Maybe if I was in jigawa and decided to just see what they are doing there, that will automatically make me buharis supporter? 2019 is fast approaching, we will all see |
