at OP: i also noticed you edited your post!!!! what is really going on here?! just yesterday, you wrote "nov 20 - dec 4" as the orientation camp. why the change ![]() |
@OP: your information is still not clear who is providing you this this information? and why would call up letters be issued one week or so before commencement of camp? from what you posted, that's what my understanding is what of foreign graduates? |
OP, answer the questions na, ![]() |
@ OP: where did u find this info |
Good day NL! I'm starting yet another topic about this I've been trying my best to find info about batch C but have come up short Please, if there's anyone that can provide info, they should paste it here. I know batch B was split into two streams. 14th JULY - 4th AUGUST 2009 and then 10th AUGUST - 24th AUGUST (only two weeks for them). I was told that Batch C would commence sometime in November, but no other specifics were provided. I'd also like to know if it's possible to register online or get someone back home to register for foreign-trained graduates? I'm told one is normally expected to appear about one month prior to commencement of camp (whenever that may be) to register, then wait for the call up letter to be sent but I'm just wonderding if that's the case for foreign graduates? Are there alternate means of registering? I ask b/c I have let my employer know that I'll be away for a year but due to work restrictions, I may not be able to leave until just prior to start of camp (a week or two before November). Any additional information is welcomed Thanks in advance |
haters, stay MAD and SAD 2baba is STILL doing the dayum thing and good on him for that! |
dang! he really is in bad shape ![]() |
i personally know 5 different nigerian athletes that came here 7 years ago for a competition (track and field) and never returned it really wouldn't be THAT uncommon for nigerians (young and old) to come to canada for legit reasons but then refuse to return upon completion of said purpose of the "visit" |
thanks ell77. so now i know i should be there about a month to camp and that i will need to collect my call up letter a month after registration u've been a big help ![]() |
^^^^ i was there for some charity/wedding/vacation purposes anyway. i didnt' go just for nysc info (else i woulda been PISSED since they weren't very informative) i guess i should be preparing to be there about 1 month to the commencement of camp. i'm excited, yet anxious and slightly frustrated but will definately take your advice and look for info in two weeks thanks for that info. i should assume then, that call up letter are sent to foreign students in nigeria during that one month period during registration/commencement of camp? that's how i'm understanding it from what u said. can you clarify? thanks a lot and yes, i did grab a contact there but they said they don't know anything yet. maybe in a couple weeks and u suggested. they told me to just keep in touch every few weeks for latest updates |
^^^ thanks for the advice i've already decided to serve this year if possible. i'm just hoping the website will be up and running soon enough people were surprisingly very nice to me at the abuja office. just not informative ![]() |
bump! i want to register for the next batch. went to maitama office and was told they thing it'll be between september and november |
^^^^^^^^^thanks well i went and was told next batch is between september and november they had "couldn't pinpoint" when the next one would take place!the website is also down ![]() i am highly annoyed. i need to prepare for next batch and they are making it very difficult |
