Alright, I wonder why pancakes wap doesn't allow converting from other crypto in my case ADA to BNB.

Thé ADA was sent via the smart chain network BSC. The fees is like 0.13 cents and Binance's minimum withdrawal via BSC for BNB is $50.

Ibime:

Guys did anyone try using Cardano to buy SAFEMOON through Trustwallet, I sent some ADA to Trustwallet but keep getting this error message, any clue?

I tried swapping some ADA for BnB to cover the fees but still same error.

The market has no control, it is manipulative by the whales, social media, governments's decisions. That's why you only put money that you don't need in day to day activities.

For now there is no governing body, the only government that can set example for others to follow is the US, once they decide on a policy to govern crypto market in the US, others will adopt. Imagine limiting maximum BTC transfer/sale of each crypto trader to a maximum of 0.5 BTC per month and every other crypto, only the government can do that. Whales will have their fingers burnt.

My take on this dip, close any positions that is still in profit and re-enter at a better price, the truth be told the crypto market is over-inflated and this current dip demonstrates how far the world has been MONEY driven since this pandemic.

Whatever happens from here, it's only time and everything will correct though Bill gates just said This is the crash of the crypto market , I don't see that happening for a trillion dollar market, what will the exchanges that has invested heavily on the technologies do?

Anyway, Bill gates doesn't dominate in Crypto so he says what he likes. Elon will soon tweet and the move continues.

InvestmentRe: Crypto Currency Investors Thread by condomuser: 6:18pm On Apr 19, 2021
Hahaha,
sometimes you can actually sell the dip if you've ran out of funds and the dip is getting diper.

For example, if you buy using an averaging method by splitting your capital into X2, X3 or X5 places.
Say you bought BnB Batch 1 at $510.
Batch 2 at $475.
If the BNB dip dips to $500, it may be best to sell Batch 2 you initially bought at $475 at a rate of up to $480 with very little profit, the opportunity cost is not that huge.

Then if it dips further at $450, you re-enter. If it rises, you still have batch 1 to gain double profits.

There is no expert in crypto, we are all working against a mathematical algorithm that is more crazy than 10 mad men joined togzther.

Predicting doge will sell for $10 or $100 is misleading, always state the. fundamental facts behind your assumption to avoid misleading newbies.

The doge coin was created under a few hours as a joke, even one of the co-founders doesn't own any of it and he is even more surprised with the current trend of it. The coin has no fundamental, no usecase, no value. It is purely Pump and dump . Don't let it get dumped on U.

Whales are now moving to alts, they pump and dump alts on retail investors and increase their BTC portfolio, institutional investors maintain a higher volume of BTC at any point in time, they hardly sell and if institutional investors withdraw from holding BTC the price will crash to $1000 as whales won't be waiting for BTC rise back up since they have alternative (pumping alts).

Be warned !

From what I read online, it was said there was a power outage in a part of China that caused bitcoin hash rate to move slower there this triggered Bitcoin's processing causing a major liquidation in long positions i.e people who may have set stop losses on their long position bitcoins had that alert trigger on the blockchain network causing an influx of $310 billion Bitcoins into the network causing the price to crash.

They said the power outage problem has been resolved.

For anyone who doesn't understand what I wrote up there, they simply said NEPA took light in China that's why bitcoin nosedived and the person wey suppose on gen was nowhere to be found.

You're not alone and there is nothing to worry about, I hold BnB bought at $580, some may have bought at $600.

The fact is that you put money in something that will last a lifetime, BnB will always be Binance's flagship crypto and being the largest exchange with projects pairing on it, it will always be valuable.

In my opinion sell and take your profits, doge trade volume has dropped from 220% to 30%. If you bought really cheap maybe better to keep hodling.
Doge price will fall to around 0.20 within a short period, pump and dump coin always retrace, remember Alice my neighbor, it went up $60 but now struggling at $12.

Yea hold some bitcoin for the luxury of it when the price finally hit $1m, anything you invest in it now will be in thousands of dollars by 2035.

The doge coin I bought at N8600 in February this year just sold for N60k, I'm not even happy as I missed stacking em up and losing out in a profit of N2.5m ,,

Phyde:
Is it wise to buy bitkoin at this stage ?
InvestmentRe: Crypto Currency Investors Thread by condomuser: 5:42pm On Apr 16, 2021
Mostly likely I would take profits a little less than @N2.5m.

On the otherhand when you buy a dead "priced coin", the doge I sold was bought at 0.04$, you will most likely hodl as it will survive any subsequent pump and dips, that's why it's good to go in early and pack up those bags of crypto with potential. I see people are running away from tlm, it is only a matter of time.

StrafordSTONES:
Even if it had filled, would you have been patient enough to take the whole 2.5 ?
InvestmentRe: Crypto Currency Investors Thread by condomuser: 5:20pm On Apr 16, 2021
Don't worry too much about it, everyone loses some profit at every point,
I entered a purchase order of N1m to buy doge at 0.08 two days ago, the order didn't get filled even though the price target was met, when I went back to check the order, it happened the order wasn't placed correctly due to mix up of values, I would have cashed out N2.5 million in profit by now.

Anyway the little $17 doge I had since Feb just sold for $135.
You lose some you gain some.

DeadPresidents:
It's sifia pains for me bro.

DOGE has flipped everything I know about Crypto on its head.

I mean Doge is a token that should fundamentally be worth little with limitless capacity for inflation as there is no hard cap. Economics 101 right? Well, I just found out the hard way Cryptonomics and Economics are divergent.

The only coin I hodled since Jan was Eth as I have irrational faith in it.
InvestmentRe: Crypto Currency Investors Thread by condomuser: 10:09pm On Apr 13, 2021
At this point, it may be best to start thinking of long-term hodl on crypto with useful usecases like 1 year to 15 years hodl.

Yesterday Michael Saylor topped up his stash of bitcoin by purchasing additional bitcoins at $59k each. If you don't own any single satoshi at this point, you are not playing in the champions League.
BTC has broken the $60k barrier comfortably so worse case dips could be $58k.
Where BTC goes from here, JP Morgan estimates $130k. The money you'll make hodling for 1 year on solid usecase crypto is far greater than the $10k annual profit you could make now.

While hodling keep an eye on the news, central banks across the world are rolling out their own crypto, the Carribbean, China, India, ECB etc. Whatever happens the less regulated market will always have a substantial market share.
InvestmentRe: Crypto Currency Investors Thread by condomuser: 6:05am On Apr 13, 2021
There are coins with potential that will allow you to take the whole profits on the long run like ADA, CAKE, LTC, XLM.

Enter during the dip;(if btc drops btw $57~ $58k) and you will mostly be in green at subsequent dips.

InvestmentRe: Crypto Currency Investors Thread by condomuser: 7:40pm On Apr 12, 2021
Which exchange did you notice such?
It's either the initial coin you had may have lost the value it gained as coins can go up or down in seconds or a technical glitch occured purchasing a new coin. It's rare for such to happen if it's Binance, they built their site to almost perfection.

To double check, check Ur transaction history for purchased coin units for the new $150 purchase then subtract it from available units of coins then you will understand better.

haywire07:
I think I made a big mistake again in this crypto thing. I made same mistake when using Luno and now I thought Binance would be different

Experts I need your attention

I think for someone to top up your crypto balance, one needs to sell off the previous coins so as to retain the gain.

Let's say for example I bought BNB at $150 and it appreciated to $250. Which means I've made an extra $100 at the time
Then I decided to buy more BNB of $150. Now, instead of the new balance to be
$250 (previous balance) + $150 (new purchase) = $400,
the balance will instead be reversed to $150 + $150 ; thereby losing the entire $100 gain.

I can imagine the feeling having bought lots of BnB at $195, by now I would've easily cashed out $7000 profits but got rid of the bags at $220 with very little profit.

Sure you can invest but set a stoploss.
It could reach $700 today, the coin is very rational, the uptrend is as a result of staking for a new coin being launched by Binance and other project pairing, it will surely correct so ensure you aren't carrying bags.

Well said, no one is entitled to your ID in the name of an escrow and that doesn't make such a person a scammer whether the escrow or the person who is not interested in submitting their ID.

Imagine the numerous amounts of ID accumulated by the escrow over a long period of time is a potential identity fraud risk. I will never send my ID to anyone on a faceless forum even if the deal is worth N100 million. I'm not saying escrow will mismanage but the data could be compromised by loss or theft and there is no data protection policy from the escrow.
BE WISE !

juliusijidola:
No offence, but Sincerely it's not advisable to drop your ID card to someone you met on a faceless forum like this, someone you can't point out to outside this forum...

Many reputable member here has been offering escrow Service before last year, they never asked for ID card...

Be the way 90% of the ID cards on the black market got out via this same format, sending ID cards to someone you don't even have his/her Photo, much less been able to identify or hold such person accountable..

Terrible decision !!!!

If you're looking for long term investment YFI could be a deal breaker, with a total circulating supply of 36,635 YFI and max supply of 36,666 YFI. It is the second most highly valuable coin by pricing.

The good thing about it is that it is aligned with Bitcoin pricing, and picks up quicker than bitcoin after a dip.

One YFI traded at $51,000 in the month of Feb 2021, a price above bitcoin. It is now selling at a discount so it's up to you.

#Not a financial advice
#Cryptocurrency trading js highly volatile, you are responsible for any decisions you make.

And I'm struggling to cope with N50k per day i.e N1.5 million a month.

What do you guys eat on N30k per month, don't you have a gf, don't you go to bars, clubs etc?

Franckelv230:
Going by the inflation, recession and whatever thing they use to qualify this hardship we are facing in this country at the moment, how do you most salary earners cope?

When I say salary earners, I mean those earning 50k, 40k, 30k, 25k and some even 25k to 10k. Not you that's bagging 100k and above, you be oil worker jor.

So, I see most families where the man being the head of the family, is a private school teacher. Of course we all know how much they are payed nothing. Same with most company or factory casual workers. How do you guys manage to cope with family at this crucial time?

It's not like I'm earning big or own any business, but one good job in month will cover me for some times. Since I'm not married yet, it just myself and my aged mum that I think of.

So how do you manage your 30k that it will last you for a month, Assuming your extra teaching after school will cover your transportation to and from working place?
