Foreign stocks like you mentioned, is there any site that is reliable that allow Non-US residents to buy, there is a lot of scam out there so I'd rather use all my money and eat peppersoup, isiewu, chicken suya etc than dash it out.

Tobex4realTobex234:

The golden advice again is this. Convert a huge chunk of your naira investment to dollar now and invest in stocks, bonds, REITS or stable coins.

Una get agidi for this Nairaland. Maybe it's because of the name of the forum, that's why we are this patriotic about the naira. With Emefiele and Buhari, naira is still going down grin

I heard the senate approved fresh N982 billion for buhari, with the way things are going, the govt is likely to run out of printing paper when they can't afford to repay all loans

There is a lot going on behind the scene, regulators are cracking down the activities of crypto exchanges such as Binance and it's competitors. Currently, depositing and withdrawing funds through Binance has been banned by the UK and European banks.

Crypto is currently a trap, this is not a dip, it's a CRASH. Don't mind what the mindless crypto moon enthusiasts will tell you.
BTC to $25k
Total wipe out for most alts looming.
Be warned.

Only a fool won't be able to see Obi Cubana's business strategy after studying him

He is a business man whose business is aligned with young generational wealth i.e SHOWBIZ. He has bar/clubs/relaxation centres in strategic points in the country. He mingles with almost all Nigerian A-list artists bringing them and their friends close to his businesses and everytime you come they play dorime latire on your head and milk you.

Deji should be more concerned about the no of people who cry in Cubana groups toilets after they realise dorime song has bankrupt them

Family / Re: Married To Mum Of 2 But The Babies Dad Choose To Neglect Responsibilities. by condomuser: 10:16am On Jul 16, 2021
The mistake is getting together with her in the first place, the mentality of most divorced women is extreme against men even though she may be good deep down, the attitude given to her by the ex husband will directly reflect on you.

Andrew87:
I got married to my wife. I love her both with the kids but the biological father of the kids is a bit wealthy and left the whole responsibilities to my wife since last year.

This is not funny because I am part of her although we hustle hard but it's not easy. He insists the kids must be with him if he must take care of them but a member of his family informed my wife that he plans to take them away and she will not see them.

Please friends what's ur take on this? Times are really hard.

Looting should be Legalized and recognized as an international sporting activity in South Africa

In fact the government of SA should form Looting Olympics with its launch in South Africa.

So we can start seeing South African Looting Olympic 2025

Having properties these days is more of a thing of pride, if you have more than one property, selling one to invest in bonds is not a bad idea.
Where is the property located?

Before selling consider the prospects of the area for future rapid development, if it's not likely to have an explosive growth over the next 5 years, selling it off might be the best.

By 2023 properties will lose quite a lot of value, massive migration out of Nigeria is looming, economic hardship is worsening, currency devaluation is imminent.

eagleeye2:
Oga Emma and the Gurus in the house greetings. I have a personal question and I need suggestions and advice. I have read and still reading about investment in bonds vs real estate.
I inherited my late parents properties, and I am thinking of selling off one of the buildings and plunge into the bonds market. Doing that I will become a tenant which I already am, since I have relocated from the city where the buildings reside. I believe I can raise 25M or more from the sale of any of the two properties.
Both properties generate roughly #1.2M in rental income. When I know I can easily get at least 2M if I invest 20M in bonds.
Of course it makes sense to sell. But, emotions and sentiment are in play here. My relatives will see me as 'Efulefu', who can't go out there to build his own wealth. I'm Igbo and we frown at sons who sells off their inheritance, even if it is to build more wealth from the proceed of the sale. Also, I am worried about this land sale 'curse', since I am not going to invest in another piece of real estate, but instead wants to invest in Bonds.

Binance has been banned by Clear Junction Limited for deposit and processing EUR and GBP transactions

This also means that SEPA transaction system which is widely used in the EU by Binance customers for Deposit/Withdrawals has also been banned.

Next Continent to Ban Binance for BTC to drop to $10k is America.

Even the $918k over 30 years is impossible, there is no financial institution that will allow you reinvest your coupon at the same rate as original rate at any point.
Also, during some yeaes the rate may go 18 percent and slash to 5 percent for re-investing the coupon payments.

OgogoroFreak:
$1k every month at 5.5% would give total investment value of $918,799.28 in 30 years.

Not even upto a million! You come mention a whole billion sad
