Coneheadyutes: Imo state is catching up to Lagos in terms of gdp per capita. The states with the highest gdp per capita are:
1. Delta Overall GDP: 16.75 Billion
Per capita:$3,990
2. Rivers
Overal GDP $21.07 billion Per capita :$3965
3. Lagos
Overall GDP: $33.68 billion Per capita: $3649
4. Edo
Overall GDP: $11.89 billion
Per capita: $3623
5. Imo Overall GDP $14.21 Billion per capita: $3,527
free2ryhme: After reading this article I conclude by blaming the editor for allowing publication of this article
The indicators used to support his claims lacks merit and are baseless.
Lagos has a higher GDP Per Capita compared to Anambra. Using Strategic Power, City Branding, Labor Force, Banking & Finance indicators Anambra state doesnot compare to Lagos |

traihit: And this man thinks Lagos economy will be where it presently is in the next 20 years or what does he mean saying "bigger than Lagos"
When politicians make assertions like this, just know they're lying. Lagos didn't get here in 20 years and if Anambra will really be like Lagos in a short while, then it should prepare for more influx of people, more industries and opportunities to bring people in, favorable conditions to non-indegenes. But he talked as if a cargo airport and seaport is all that's needed to make an economy grow. Lagos derives more than 60% of it's economy from imports and exports, and 60% of the goods imported come to Onitsha. |

YungMillionaire: [s]The truth is some Igbos (like the original people of Onitsha e.g. Azikwe) are descendants of Bini.
This is where the confusion is. The Igbos and Bini are not ready to acknowledge their connection.[/s] Oga, we are not from any crappy bini empire. We trace our roots to EZE CHIMA does that name sound bini to you? Eze chima was a bini prince from arochukwu that was forced to flee because he was not of bini origin. https://www.nairaland.com/4485265/eze-chima-aro-native-doctorNo real onitshan is bini. Azikiwe never said he was bini! Please, do not come and start spreading any false unverifiable rumour about any onitsha-bini link. This thread is about ikwerre-bini link. |

Be careful of lying to your children about your origin, it will do more harm than good. You can choose to have a seperate identity, but I would advise you not to tell this unverified story to your children, it will affect your children negatively. Try and trace your root, only then would you realize that your life was a lie. You need to accept your past in order to progress into the future. |

You were replied with a question. Simply put, how does I'm not an Igbo transform into " they hate igbos "
You people's hold let people leave their lives without forcing and imposing your will on them simple.
If I'm an not igbo translates to they hate igbo. Then all non yoruba/igbo southerners hate igbo. Period Lol, you obviously didn't read the article. |

KosiGee: Why use fake claddings to imitate clay bricks? Enugu has some good clay to make real and standard bricks. I have noticed this on so many buildings. Cheap and fake claddings should be discouraged. With very poor maintenance culture, those claddings would fall off, probably hurt people and leave those shelters looking aesthetically unappealing.
These are very poor designs and definitely won’t last a season. No mind them. |
