Ultimately it was French backed rebels and a French plane that attacked Gadhaffi's convoy and got him captured and executed.

Let's not forget that it was all about money. Gaddafi wanted to change the currency of exchange for francophone countries and effectively end France's influence in Africa. He had hundreds of millions of dollars worth of gold to produce another currency to replace the Franc. The French nation couldn't have that happen under its watch. Europe would start dying a slow death in Africa. So the Eu and France asked America for help in ousting Gaddafi. That was why they killed a well meaning lunatic that led Libya and ensured stability in North Africa.

I am a Christian, and attend a Pentecostal Church. Churches, just like Christianity, is open to individual definition on how they see it and it has no one clear definition. so your question on why people consider the Catholic something else, will get you a lot of different answers, even if majority will be shrouded in ambiguity.

The Catholic Church did not start getting heat today from people. It started from the time the Church deviated from the Bible, and became a POLITICAL PARTY in the 14th and 15th Century.

As an individual, my problem with the Catholic has to do with the way they worship, as it is almost idolatry. Why can't i as a Christian pray to God directly?why do i need one statue, picture or something to intercede for me?why do i need to be calling the name of this Saint or that Saint to intercede on my behalf?

Why do i need to confess my sins in a Booth to another man(Reverend Father) when i can talk to God directly?is the Reverend Father now a gate keeper to God or Heaven?

But all these pale in comparison to one SIN i will never forgive the Catholic for. And that SIN is to make ABLE MEN with WORKING PRIVATE PARTS not be able to MAKE LOVE, or have babies just because they want to be Catholic Priests. Who made that DAMN LAW? God put a D--K on a man's body for a reason, but the Catholic, who in some way are claiming GOD are forcing MEN not to use it, because they want to serve God.

Sir I agree you know everything. We are talking about NIGERIA here. Yeah I know of Exxon Tillerson and Shell's Rijswijk, my alma mater Fupre usually had yearly EXXON UAP that were taught by Exxon staffs. So trust me I know some decisions are made at a higher level. What am saying is that the MDs in Nigeria play a bigger role in the success of the IOCs here than the CEOs from their international HQ. For eg, the last SheLL MD convinced the head honchos at Shell HQ to sell assets in Delta state that were underperforming. After selling and moving to PH for some years, they are moving back to Delta state again. So obviously the former MD gave HQ some bad Intel. Hope you get my point now.

Engineers, Architects, Surveyors, Doctors, Pharmacists, etc - all flaunt their professions, but Geologists......what are they called? Is that why they hav less respect??

You see, that's why Nigeria is trash in terms of environmental issues. Countries like the US(before the Donald), France, Sweden, Norway; when geologists talk they listen, reason environmentally these countries are right up there. The best IOCs are run by geologists in Nigeria, eg. Exxon, Chevron. The failing ones are run by engineers with no knowledge of geology eg Shell's last MD was a computer scientist, they had to fire the slowpoke. Just a few points to let you know how important geology is. But in Nigeria nothing is important except money.

Their production hits some 10million barrels per day many this year so they are not even worried about the price drop. In fact when I was a student Exxon Mobil staffs came around for UAP and said there is nothing there, a guy that was on the team that discovered crude on the Chadian sector said there is no crude there (in the Nigerian sector). The truth about the chad basin is that intracratonic sag basins are NEVER prolific producers of crude oil, unless the chad basin has morphed into a frontier basin after some 3decades of exploration. All I can say to Kachikwu is "Drill baby, drill". After 4 or 5 dry wells, eye go clear.

OP, when you put the water in a bucket, does seen oily when you look at the surface?

There is probably a leaky or compromised suckaway or septic tank that might have infiltrated into the groundwater. Problem is, you can't really tell if it only in the water table or it has entered into the aquifer. Rivers state is in the Niger Delta, and the hydrogeology suggest shallow water table. I did my project on that, using multivariate statistics. And we all know that numbers don't lie.
