Politics › Re: Dickson, PDP Kicks As Bayelsa Gets New CP by contigiency(m): 4:55pm On Nov 05, 2018
The governor while receiving defectors to the PDP recently, said: “Now they just told me that the fourth commissioner of police they posted to Bayelsa had been removed.

“They brought the one they said is their party member to come to police our state that we have secured so that they can use cult boys to create problem and kill people. We will not allow that”.

Look at a statement from a governor. with a statement like this, will anyone be surprised if the youths start causing trouble with the intention to appease the governor? Will anyone look far as for what is causing tension and insecurity? This is very bad.

For me, all these are no longer important. Its like trying hard to impress people who have obviously taken sides. There is nothing you will do that will make them to change their stands. because there are used to peddling falsehood. So convincing them to take the part of honour is always a herculean task.
Politics › Re: Senator Shehu Sani Reacts To ASUU Indefinite Strike by contigiency(m): 9:45am On Nov 05, 2018
Measuring the price of a barrel of crude oil as a yardstick for funding of our universities is being narrow minded. Because, funding of the universities is not the only problem needed to be solved from the proceeds of the crude oil. There are many problems confronting the country and majority of them depend on the crude oil income. I think somebody at Shehu Sani level should be talking about solving the fundamental problem by proposing how these universities could be self sustaining if he truly cares and not playing politics. How long shall we continue to proffer interim measures on this matter? By his submission, it means that when the crude trades for free or small margin, we will have to close the universities.

I really don't understand this desperation coming from the presidency

Assuming you have done well as our president, there won't be any need to go and bring our former senate president and termed him "Amalgamated Market giniko"
This rubbish you wrote here is just for you to make comments. as if it's by force that even when don't have anything reasonable to say, you must still say something no matter how stupid you sound.
Politics › Re: Okorocha Withdraws Security, Staff From Deputy Gov’s Office by contigiency(m): 2:17pm On Nov 04, 2018
Bloggers and journalists should stop misleading people and causing confusion. Rochas has no power to either install or withdraw the security of the deputy governor. those are the statutory rights of the deputy governor to be implemented by the police commissioner. The commissioner does not even need the approval of the governor to do so Because it's a statutory duty which the police must perform. Yes, we know that the governor and his deputy are not the best of friends right now. So the governor can make effort to influence certain things against the deputy, but in this case, the police will solely take responsibility for their actions because they are not answerable to the governor. The governor can lobby them for things like this, but it is another thing for the police to accept to do it. And if they do, they must be responsible and not the governor for any issues that may come out of it.

Those who know know that the brain behind Nigeria's new (modern) airports was GEJ. His administration conceived, planned, and nearly completed the new airports before PMB's inept administration took over and slowed down the pace of the work.
We know that GEJ's projects are always ideas at initiation stage, at the drawing board, being planned, almost completed and some he forgot to commission. All in six years. But When the issue of hardships, insecurity, corruption/looting and the recession that befell the country comes up, to you people, no Jonathan has nothing to do with it. It's all the problems of this administration. Lets becareful so that posterity will not judge us harshly.

The president is the man of the people especially the critical mass because of his insistence for wealth redistribution. And not the PDP gang who created elites among themselves and made sure they recycle the commonwealth among themselves. He will be president beyond 2019, there is nothing they will do about it even if they cry till next decade.

God doesn't answer fake prayers. He can't just remove a trusted person and replace him with criminal looters. So Buhari can only go to daura after the election to commision projects and not the other way round.

Oga pastor, speak for yourself. the guy in question is a full grown rational adult, to think he will be against buhari on the account of where his father's loyalty lies, is a mistake taken too far by you. Meanwhile, you you should be preparing your sammon in the church tomorrow and not politics, that Is if you are still committed to that vocation.

Politics › Re: How Buhari Sacrificed Amosun For Second Term Bid by contigiency(m): 8:13am On Nov 02, 2018
Stupid and lazy blogger. Amosun's woes has nothing to do with buhari and all rubbish being written here. It's an established fact that Amosun wanted to single handedly nominate every candidate in his state which the party faithfuls in the state vehemently rejected. Amosun ran to the president who in his usual characteristics refused to meddle on the issue, but directed that the right thing be done. So nobody is sacrificing anybody here, except the governor who has to deal with the choice he made.

All these people messing up our traditional stool in the name of politics need to be phased out. Many of them were hailing this same fayose while others kept quiet, they couldn't voice out against this suddenly realized maltreatment. Another governor has entered and see them, they could not even allow the man to clean his office first, they are already asking for fat envelopes.
