So politicians include this ugly and rotten Frank? What election has contested and won? He is only fake news carrier and busy body. |
PureGoldh:You better talk am. |
I have always said it that the marginalization of the Niger Delta is not largely due to the government ineptitude, but mostly caused by their own indigenes. Over the years, government has created the following; ministry of Niger Delta, NDDC, Amnesty program, 13% derivative etc. All of these programs have being managed by the Niger Deltans with trillions of naira so far allocated to them. Yet, there is nothing to show for it. So Mr president we are all with you on this one. |
LEADERS of the Niger Delta region, yesterday, said they are in support of the call for a forensic audit of the Niger Delta Development Commission, NDDC by President Muhammadu Buhari stating that it is the best decision taken by the federal government in the development of the region. The leaders at a stakeholders meeting held at Warri, also drummed support for the Minister of Niger Delta Affairs, Chief Godswill Akpabio and applauded him for the reforms he is embarking on in repositioning the ministry since his assumption of office. In a communique signed by convener of the defunct Niger Delta Peoples Congress, NDPC, Chief Mike Loyibo on behalf of the leaders, they stated that it is imperative that the “mess in the NDDC should be cleared for effective mandate delivery for the incoming NDDC board.” “You will agree with us that the NDDC has been a cash-cow over the years and we the people of the region have been crying for such opportunity to reposition the commission and enable it achieve its primary goals. “Our prayers have been answered through Akpabio who in this short period, called for serious reforms in the agency.“We believe that the vision and passion he has for the region is commendable and he should be supported so as to bring this to fruition, hence we are passing a vote of confidence on him.” Speaking on the underdevelopment of the region, the leaders said: “It is we, the people of the Niger Delta region that are under developing our own area and not the government because if we had used what had been provided for us judiciously, we would have achieved a lot, but since we are embezzling what is being given to us for development, how can we make demands or defend funds accrued to the region for the development. “We want to also appeal to Mr. President to extend same probe to the Presidential Amnesty Programme and other federal government agencies in the Niger Delta region to strengthen and return them to their core mandate.” |
This guy is simply a clown. Is he supposed to show this kind of a thing in a social media? |
This Atiku is a pure scam. At a time he is supposed to show leadership to his party, he ran away to another country showing only pictures once in a while. The same way he ran to APC and waited for others to build PDP and he came and grabbed the ticket few months to the last election. Who is he waiting for to build the party for him against 2023? No way! |
Nonsense. What of when she is mensurating? |
ornicus:The bolded is where you said it all like a true son of your father that you are. He forgot that first class or whatever grade he graduated with shows his class or level both in character and in learning. That's why they say that you pass through school and the school should also pass through you. Education is not just the paper you came out with after graduation, but includes all moral actions taken intentionally purposely by an individual or a group of persons to bring about positive change in behavior. He had planned how to brag and insult APC illiterates or anyone for that matter with his class, but like you rightly said, life has partly checkmated his arrogance with the class he graduated with. |
PDP just introducing every bad antics over this matter. So they want to handpick judges for the case. Those names especially Marry Odili should excuse herself from the case considering her husband's position in PDP. |
Thank you Mr president and Amechi the workaholic minister of transportation. |
For once this Reno Omokiri behaved well to my knowledge. |
slimfit1:What has Hausa people got to do with the information being given to the public that NJC will interview justices of the supreme court? |
OChimex:Everything to you is shity shity, please what role are you contributing to develop the country? And I will advice, if the country is shity as you are putting it, you can relocate to the next country where castles are built by mere wishes without the efforts of all and sundry. But one thing I will tell people like you who have given up in this country is to calm down. Things are not as bad as being estimated and projected. After all known of you can attest to have seen those giving all those statistics coming to collect data from you or anyone you know. And very importantly, I can tell you that very soon, foreigners will stamped and hustle to get Nigerian vista. It might sound funny, but Mark today's date. |
This man is so shameless even at his old age.. So Osibanjo wrote the law for Tinubu the then Lagos state governor purposely to nail you, even when your case was with the federal government which was controlled by your party PDP. How does it add up? |
OChimex:You must not comment, it's not by force. How can you say that government intervention in those areas you mentioned are not important? Tomorrow you will say that leadership is your right simply because you are a youth. But see your reasoning. As for those other areas you mentioned like power, Agriculture etc, you will agree with me that government is seriously doing something about them. For instance, government has signed an M.O.U with Siemens for incremental electricity generation and distribution between now and 2025. On agriculture, I don't have to inform you what measures government is taking to address that sector. The major problem there is largely you and I who prefer foreign food even when they fall below the standard we have in this country. Government has taken a step further by banning food importation so that we all can look inward and patronize our own foods and help for the government investments in the sector to yield the desired result. Though I will not be surprised if you also criticised that policy of government. On human capital development, you see why I said you must not comment. You criticized N-power, trader money etc, then you turn to say you prefer human development. Please what's the major issue the N-power is addressing if not human development? In case you don't know, N-power is 100% human development. That's you have N-build where technicians are trained to modern approach to what they are doing. You have N-teach where young graduates are to teach and develop those in secondary schools. You have N-health where the medics are to work in health centers. But in all of these, many who are already working still deceitfully joined the N-power even though it's meant for the unemployed graduates. While others who even though there are unemployed, collects the money without delivering the services. Yet, they come here to criticise and lampoon the government for all the ills befalling this country. Habba!!! That's bad. |
Amazingman:You are too dirty, get out of here.
|
Talk and do government. Good one. |
Congratulations to him. |
This is a welcome development. It can only take a patriotic President like buhari to do this. |
That's my governor. |
Surveyoruzoma: Surveyoruzoma: Surveyoruzoma:Only you saying all these just in one thread.
|
FarahAideed:So power plant initiated is the yardstick e kwa? Please where are those power plants initiated and completed by other presidents? If you check your records without bias, you will agree to the fact that buhari has caused more tangible development in this country than many others who have ruled this country. In case you don't know, buhari built all the four refineries that served Nigeria for decades, but other leaders could not maintain them. Today, look at how much being spent to import petroleum products because the refineries have been killed by those benefiting from subsidy scam. I don't know when you graduated from school, but if it was up to 10 years ago, then I will tell you to think of PTF projects like lecture halls in different high institutions, luxurious buses, medical centers, hostels, PTF drugs, federal roads etc. All these he did as PTF chairman. Please if other leaders meant well, why did they not maintain those social amenities that served both the rich and the poor as put in place by this same buhari. |
Buhari please and please, the border should be permanently closed and if possible throw the key into the lagoon. The era of farmers being treated like they worth nothing is over. What they do in our rural communities and we call them unfortunate people is the same thing other farmers in in those countries we are worshiping are doing. |
SamuelAnyawu:So why did it miss it's way and landed to Nigeria? |
And I will not be surprised. |
krendo:Like father like son. Speaking without direction and facts. How many more bottles do I bring for you?
|
That's just the best way to go. Nigerians don't require soft approach to be corrected on issues. |
This is serious. She tried no be small. |
That's where he rightfully belong. |
It will be a very difficult task for Nigeria to defeat Brazil at the moment. But the most important thing for Nigeria is the quality of the opposition. They will have a lot to learn from a game of this stature. |
Brazil Vs Nigeria: More Than a Friendly Encounter Most Nigeria’s major encounters with Brazil have all been at the Olympics Games and once at the U21 World Championship in 1989 in Chile, aside the friendly game in Abuja. However, it was not until the Atlanta ’96 Olympics when Nigeria came from 3-1 down to defeat a Ronaldo Delima inspired Brazil 4-3, that a football rivalry between the two countries was truely born. That is why Sunday’s encounter between the Selecao and the Super Eagles will be more than a friendly and the roll call of players billed for the match attest to it. From the most expensive footballer in the world-Neymar to their COPA America winning captain Dani Alves, Brazil have left no one in doubt they are not in Singapore for a tea party. The game is coming 23 years and a couple of months after Nigeria spectacularly ejected Brazil from the Centennial Olympic Games men’s football tournament in Atlanta, Georgia at the semi final stage. It is also the last and icing on the cake of a two-match schedule for the five-time world champions in Singapore, which begins with a clash with the Teranga Lions of Senegal on Thursday. In spite of the array of stars at their disposal, Paris Saint-Germain’s Brazil international defender Marquinhos has warned his side that they must work hard if they were to defeat Nigeria in Singapore on Sunday.

That's a good one. UNN a no nonsense school both in character and in learning. |
