This is our problem. Our elders especially the so called human rights activists always want to give a spade a nickname instead of calling it spade. Chidi kalu wants the federal government to give assistance to the billionaire fraudsters all in the name of human rights. That should suggest that the government has finished assisting those that genuinely require assistance and still have resources to waste on greedy thieves. This is why there is a serious moral decadence in our society today. Since our elders have refused to stand firm and condemn evil. Otherwise, Abike Dabiri had simply asked those indicted to show up and defend themselves, that they will be given fair hearing. Failure to show up might warrant their extradition. What's wrong in that statement? But instead, human rights activists prefer government to pamper them and possibly congratulate them for their bravery. |
flourishing247:You are right. In fact sense no go kill you there. For that girl to have traveled all the way to owerri in the name of going to Newhaven market is not ordinary. She must have missed her period and as a small girl out of fear ran to know what her maradona will say about it. |
Someone said it in the other thread that she was not kidnapped, but must have gone to see her boy friend. |
The president is smoothly driving to the next level. A good man with good heart who cares for the well-being of the common man. |
If you read vanguard newspaper in the morning you will see, BREAKING NEWS!!! Suspected Fulani headsmen bomb PDP secretariat to stop their Congress. that news paper tire me with their fake and dubious headlines. |
Stupid idiots who never gets tired with their concurtion they call news. You people have started your stupidity again. Buhari that will travel to Japan tomorrow for conference that this mad man said he is bed ridden. You also deliberately refused to take correction that the president never said the ministers should report to his chief of staff. Your reason is just to continue to be deceiving your unsuspecting followers. Once again, the president directed that personal meetings between him and any minister(s) who wants to see him should pass through his chief of staff. And in case you don't know, that's the work of chief of staff. You can't just walk pass straight and meet with the president without passing through somebody. Neither will you just arrange meeting with the president by yourself without passing through somebody who arranges the president's schedule. Also in case you don't know, the president equally directed that any cabinet issues and FEC meetings should pass through the SGF, which is also how the administrative procedure works. If you like, ignore the corrections and continue with your fake news. |
That's why I will remain a Catholic. Everything is made simple and humble just like Christ did when he was with us physically. |
yinkus6750:Oga, those things don't guarantee success in administration. Even in most developed countries today, nobody looks into all those things for political appointments. And they have continued to grow faster than us. We have had scholars and professors in the different positions in this country before, where did it take us? The most recent one was Jonathan and his PhD but couldn't understand left and right in administration for almost six years. But buhari that people are arguing whether he has waec or not has done far better than him. |
This man should have used saraki issue and learn some lessons. For me, I think his time is up. |
What a good decision by the federal government. At least, the schools can now reverse it's trend of increasing school fees which was almost making it too costly like those of private schools. |
ABUJA—THE Federal Government has directed that the Accountant-General office and National Salaries, Income and Wages Commission should commence the process of including in the payroll sacked teachers of staff schools in the 2020 budget. Vice President of Senior Staff Association of Nigerian Universities, SSANU (North), Mr Solomon Alfa, disclosed this while briefing journalists, yesterday, on the ongoing strike embarked upon by the union and its sister union, Non Academic Staff Union of Universities and Associated Institutions, NASU, in Abuja. He said the unions acknowledged that the Federal Government has restored the sacked employees of University Staff Schools to their jobs through a circular it said has been issued to the various institutions. The government directives was in obedience to the 2016 industrial court judgement that had ordered the government to reinstate sacked staff school teachers. Recall that the ongoing five-day warning strike in all universities in the country was as a result of the government inability to implement the court judgement, the disparity in disbursement of the Earned Allowances among others. However, in a circular dated August 20, 2019 addressed to the Vice Chancellor and signed by a Director in the Executive Secretary’s office, Chris Maiyaki, National Universities Commission directed the vice chancellors to liaise with the Ministry of Finance and the Office of the Accountant General of the Federation for the release of funds for the payment of arrears of salaries of the affected workers. Ooni, Meanwhile, the non teaching staff of Nigerian universities have accused the Federal Government of discriminating against them and giving preferential treatment to the Academic Staff Union of Universities, ASUU, and warned that unless the government meets their demands, the warning strike, which is expected to end today, may snowball into what they called mother of all strike. If my fellow Igbos should be okay with T. A Orji such that after his abysmal performance for 8 years as governor, they have equally rewarded him with another 8 years as a senator and capt it with his son as a speaker of Abia state house of Assembly, then Bello who has performed better than him in his 4 years should have a second chance. Again, if my brothers in the same Abia state and many other parts of Igbo should be okay with Okezie Ikpeazu after his woeful performance in 4 years and still rewarded him with another 4 years, even when Aba the commercial nerve center of the state and of course the Japan of Africa ranks as the dirtiest city in the whole country, then I say yahaya Bellow should take a bow and go. |
IGBOSON1:Oga, stop supporting evil. I am a core Igbo man. But you see how painful it is to tarnish the image of a whole race simply because of the crime of a few. When our people started calling Fulani people names that you will hardly call animals just because of the crime of a very few of them, many of you were happy with it. Such that every killing and rapping of women in any part of the country were being tagged to the Fulani's. You talked about the country not providing a decent living as the reason for this crime? You lied bros. I can help you provide answer to the reason because I see you don't know it. The reason is greed and laziness. If not, are we the most undeveloped country in the world? How is our own so different? And how come this kind of crime always come from my Igbo brothers? Did the Yoruba's, Hausa's and other Nigerians travel abroad from a different Nigeria where milk and honey flow from heaven that made them to live more decent life? Or are these countries; Cameroon, Sudan, Zimbabwe, Tanzania, Niger, Liberia, etc more developed than Nigeria such that their citizens who equally travel abroad don't border to commit crime and make it big from the sweat of others? Given, Nigeria has no decent living standard and no jobs as the reason, so how come they travel abroad where they can have decent living but they chose crime? As for your sowore and your Nnamdi KANU, have they not proven to be criminals and terrorists? Otherwise, how can Nnamdi KANU place monetary bounty for his boys to go after the lives of some selected Igbo leaders? His own supposed brothers. Why can't him come and lead them to get those men? Again, are you aware that since sowore's madness landed him in detention his wife and children are still abroad have not even come home one day to check on him? So he want to fuel crisis in the country but first of all went and secured his family abroad. Then he will come and use other peoples children who they consider as touts to go and die the same way Nnamdi KANU did. You people should learn to use your senses. |
Nukilia:We will have to call the mortuary attendant for you because we thought you should have woken up from this your long dream by now. But it's rather taking too long time that we all have given up on you. |
Ctorch:How can governor Ihedioha be unveiling and commissioning the cars if he was not the one that bought them. Has it ever been done for a governor to unveil and commission a recovered stolen items? It can only be unveiled for the public to see and not to commission. |
dometome:Don't even mind what that guy was posting. Ihedioha bought those cars and unveiled them as you can see the label on the car he was driving. |
helinues:He is not, I talked about Igbos and other Nigerians. He was just cited as example based on his recent actions. |
Ctorch:Oga, I have nothing to do with okorocha. Neither have I met him or anybody close to him before. I am from Ebonyi state and live in Enugu state. When truths are told that requires us to be patriotic for this country especially against the direction our leaders are going, we should embrace it and stop dancing naked in the public. You are talking about being a youth and writing this piece. If actually you understand as a youth that what I am admonishing is something that will better the future of the youths, you will not have gone to the direction you went. Haven said that, please if there is anywhere Rochas Okorocha or anybody for that matter embezzled or looted the public treasury, I am using this medium to say that the law must come hard on him and others. And they must not be allowed until they account for every kobo. |
dirtydiva:Your argument about tribalism doesn't come in here. The president gave the order since more than one year now and Nigerian military, police, road safety etc have since been buying from Innosson. Nobody has ever complained. Though I know if Innosson were to be from the North, my people down here would have started shouting. But in any case, the president did not say it must be Innosson. Rather, he said that so long as there is any industry producing it here likewise any other products, we must patronize them so that the industry and Nigeria indeed can grow. The vehicle breaking down? I am just hearing that today. But even as that, virtually all the foreign companies started like that and many are still like that. But it will take a deliberate policy of government like this one to improve and grow such industry. But if it's your personal car, even though you are still encouraged to patronize local manufacturer, you can still buy from any other legitimate source. |
Edu3Again:You completely missed the message. |
SimDan95:You what have you achieved in life order than crying and wailing? |
The president signed executive order number five which mandates government ministries, parastatals and agencies to patronize made in Nigeria products. The order stipulates that, as government agencies, you can only patronize foreign products and services if and only if such products and services are not produced locally. Mr president went ahead and instructed the Nigerian army, police, road safety and others to buy their vehicles from Innosson motors. This is why in recent times you see those listed security forces buying their vehicles from Innosson motors. But here we are, Emeka Ihedioha the governor of IMO state an Igbo man, left Innosson motors owned by a fellow Igbo man, traveled abroad and purchased 100 pieces of ford vehicles whose ecstatics is not even close to that of Innosson made ford vehicle. And I will not be in doubt if I am also told that Innosson ford vehicle is stronger than these his foreign ones. You can imagine better than I do, what will happen to any business man in the entire North, if president buhari should advertise what you do as a business man. The whole North will scramble and fall over themselves just to buy your products. And ethnic champions would have disturbed our ear drums to an unbearable state, reminding us how nepotistic buhari is. That is why as the president of all Nigerians, he singled out one man and asked everyone to buy from him because he is a fellow Northerner. That was why I said that those who are on revolution movement are not carrying out their revolution movement to the right section. Otherwise, if their movement is born out of selfless desire to grow the country, that executive order number five signed by the president is one of the best policy proposition of Nigerian government since this republic. because it possesses the catalyst to move the country like the way China grew. And such policy and other good ones are the right sections of the country we should be carrying our revolution movement to. I mean to the door steps of those who are supposed to implement them. Because my observations have revealed that our major problems in this country are policy implementors and not policy formulators. Doing as explained above is the best way we can assist the government and the president to actualize those good visions we want in the country. Because no matter who we elect as president, he surely can't be everywhere every time. And we must not make the mistake of focusing only on the president. Governors and the local government who take up to 47% of the total country's revenue generation must have equal backlash for misgovernance. By now, the revolution movement should have taken over all the entrance gates of IMO state government house and summon the governor to explain why he had to export our jobs abroad and also our hard earned money. Or to the door step of obasanjo to demand why he of all people who is still earning pensions from other tax payers money should be listed among common Nigerians as tax defaulters. By so doing, we would have helped the government to perform better without necessarily being in government.

Good afternoon house. Please I have an electrical injector diesel engine hilux van from Germany. This motor has been giving me too much trouble. Some people have suggested that I should convert the engine to fuel, while others said I should just convert the injector from electrical to manual. Please I seek your advice on which of the two options is better and possibly the likely budget amount each of the options will likely take. Kindly assist with an honest and professional advice. I know this is not the right section to post this, but since morning I posted it on the car and auto section, no one has said anything to me. Thanks. |
Which judgment? does Atiku have case before? He just want to be creating awareness that he is still much around for 2023. |
Please let him remain there. We don't want another headache in this country. He contested election where he tested his popularity and manifesto, but he failed woefully. So his reason to come and take power by force as against the wish of the majority of Nigerians is what I don't know. |
Oyinlomobambam:Ogun is minister for mines and steel development, he is the senior minister. While Abia is the minister for state mine and steel development, he is the junior minister. |
I am with Mr president on this. Let's give them our support and pray that God use them to change the narratives of Nigeria for good. |

That's an obvious fact. And he has been in the fore front working hard to change the narrative. Is it not what Obasanjo and PDP bequeathed to us? |
