This guy is from core Igala area and the most populated lga in Kogi My own is whether their population is like that of kano and Lagos, it only counts if they come out to vote. Let it not be like nairalanders who campaign, vote and declare results online. Haven said that, I still think bello will still win comfortably because Nigerians have not started voting competence, but on party. ethnic and religious lines. |

[s] wink2015: President Buhari did not allow the likes of President Obasanjo and President Goodluck Jonathan to enjoy their electoral victory at the poll.
This is the opposition taking their own revenge on him by going to court which unfortunately is presided over by President Buhari 's right hand man Justice Tanko.
Justice Tanko and Senator Ahmed Lawan are just giving Buhari a soft landing when he cries to their table.
This is African democracy for you. [/s] |

Politics › Re: To The Deaf, Osinbajo Is Silent by contigiency(m): 7:16am On Sep 01, 2019 |
ivandragon: The opinion of the initial write up & the present one both have their points.
The VP has been active in a number of areas but at the same time, he has been silent when the need for him to speak up against certain attacks arises.
The murder of the female christian preacher in kubwa, the Christian in a market in the north (Kano?), The killings by renegade herdsmen especially in the south & his attempt to downplay the insecurity in the country are pointers to the fact that the VP doesn't want to offend or is scared of PMB. You are talking nya nya mpu. He is the vice president of the whole Nigeria and not for only Christians. So he doesn't have to single out to speak when Christians are killed. Others are equally human beings. He speaks when anybody is killed and he has never seized to condemn it. But you know you people only believe that those who speak are only those who abuse and insult buhari and fulanis. you call such people activists even when they are insulting your intelligence. Just like you do to the likes of Omokiri, FFK, Shehu Sani, Ben Bruce, Fayose, Nnamdi KANU, Atiku, Dino melaye, and lately Obasanjo. Whereas those are not different from the kidnapper Evans and other criminals. |
Politics › Re: To The Deaf, Osinbajo Is Silent by contigiency(m): 6:47am On Sep 01, 2019 |
Venom236: Since he assumed office in 2015 as President Muhammadu Buhari’s deputy, VP Osinbajo has played an increasingly prominent role in Nigeria's government and his accomplishments are incomparable to any other Vice President as they surpass by far. The above quote is a point that even their wicked souls will be judging them against. Because since this republic, we never had a productive vice president like Osibanjo. Starting from Atiku, Jonathan and Sambo. Osibanjo has dusted all of them. |

Olayinka8793: Nothing shocks or suprises me anymore in this failed country. The only time l can be shocked is when I hear or witness something taken for granted in saner climes occurring in Nigeria, like Buhari resigning and committing suicide having released his gross failure , or electricity now constantly available. I will support this your proposal if you lead by example. You had long failed your generation including those yet unborn by becoming who you are today. whereas buhari has long paid his dues in every ramifications except for few areas of human imperfections. So when you join your ancestors by hanging, I will then listen to you. |

Our people don't pay tax but we want an Eldorado in our country. In a country where the likes of Obasanjo who was the head of Nigerian government for more than 15years in all is evading tax, Atiku who was Nigerian vice president for 8 years and also a senior custom officer for many years, and also spending billions in bribery alone is also evading tax but they shout that they want the best for the country. It's certainly an irony of the century. |

I am ashamed how some people above are calling buhari in this issue. This is court ruling and not buhari's ruling. When the law enforcement agents act, they say chaii buhari is a tyrant, he should wait for courts ruling. And when the court rules as in this case, they turn back and start calling buhari. Is it that we should start again to teach them their left and right? |

Mynd44: Desiring more means you work for it. When you earn more, that more becomes your means and you should live within it while aspiring for more.
Not living within your means is when you have an inflow of 100 and an outflow of 10,000. Definitely, there is an imbalance that leads to a lot of thing like loans. Now if you earn 100 and borrow 150, it isn't bad. Or you borrow 1000 to invest, it is wise or but you earn 100 and borrow to balance your outflow of 10,000, you are flawed.
Same for trying to cut corners in a bid to live waaaaay put of what you can afford.
Imagine earning 50k monthly and renting an apartment that cost 400k annually. That is recipe for headache You are the true son of your father. It's people like you that should genuinely be role models and not vintus obi and his likes. |

Henrichemeka: “Every citizen of this country who travels out of the country is required to obey the laws of their host countries,”. Which law have you obeyed in this country, Shehu? That is the problem. Nobody wants to obey the law, yet the major offenders are the ones who shout that things are not working in Nigeria. Atiku for instance will travel to another country and subject himself for search, but when he came down to Nigeria and was searched, himself and the whole PDP became outraged, asking why such should happen. |
