Shut up you phat phool!
Despite all of Goetze's so called class, Walcott that doesn't have a football brain played the best through pass of the night for Robin's goal.
a pass that was completely against the run of play.
if that geriatric khel didn't give the ball away, such chances don't come with several men behind the ball. . . . .walcott's football brain is underground.
yet to be drilled. grin

If Goetze wasn't naive, he wouldn't be trying to pass the ball into the net like Cesc did when he was 17. While he had some sumptuous passing, he was quite deficient in the final third. Over elaboration is something that clearly affects his game.
goetze wasn't naive. . . . .trying to pass the ball into the net made xavi and iniesta what they are today(world's best midfielders). . . .
what's the rush with mechanical paraplegic defenders in the arsenal team. wenger's tactics was that arsenal defenders should throw themselves at incoming shots from the edge of the box. . . . so goetze(being a prodigious talent) knows incisive passes at the edge of the box is the key to unlock arsenal. . . . . but his strikers were not in his wavelength.

i would never know why their brainless manager left mohammed zidan on the bench.
his sharp movements would have worked well with mario goetze(europe's best young player as we speak).
wilshere does not even come near. theo walcott can never be a goetze.
who else do you have in that team? ramsey? frimpong? song? mumu-players.

follypimpi:

He tore our midfield apart, he only misplaced one pass. We can't really compare him to Wilshere though, his an attacking midfielder while our Wilshere is a holding Midfielder.
tore midfield apart? understatement! he impregnated every arsenal player that crossed his path.
his intelligence even at this young age is on the level of scholes, xavi, iniesta. his composure is world class and he is very comfortable in possession.
i don't know what fergie's scouts are doing. . . .they should be offering this young man a contract now.

terry is a wise defender though. . . . .he will try and play chicharito offside.
he did that last season at old trafford but a naive david luiz got carried away and chicharito murdered him for his mistake.

Those with BO will always smell fishy.
Simple solution, get a bath.

I guess Torres was right though.
Our midfield was pretty poor before.

Having Miereles and Mata has made a big difference.
No disrespect to Lamps, he is and will always be a CFC legend.

The bitter fact is that he no longer deserves to start.
That doesnt take away the fact that he might be very effective as a sub.

Kudos to AVB, a manager that has the balls to leave "stars" on the bench.
chelsea's tempo is too slow. . . . . .they can only beat a team of slight players with that tempo.

it takes a full revolution of the earth before chelsea strikers get through passes. . . .by the time the pass gets executed, the defending team would have regrouped well and the striker gets crowded out and dispossessed. . . . .then fans would open their mouths and say torres is useless.

if the quality of service is decent, strikers will get tonnes of chances and goals would come.
if the service is wack, only few strikers can score from half-chances.

As per Manure game, it is imperative that we get a fast DM. Rooney has taken Mikel to the cleaners too many times for my liking. Also can't see Terry containing the movement of Chicarito.
on his day, no defender can contain the movement of hernandez. . . . . .
see how his movement murdered gary cahill. . . . .in and out and in and slam- goal!
cahill's reaction after the goal says it all. . . . . . grin

Torres would have missed that ball.
Not with his low confidence at the moment. Good thing he game Mata.

Torres may come good but i dont see him being the Torres of the past.

Anelka, Drog, Terry and Malouda are the experienced players we still need.
The rest might as well be shipped out.

Nice to see the standing ovation from the SB crowd for Ballack.
that will be the same torres that scored in the 10 mins but for meireles stupidity of touching a ball going into the net?

Good lord we need to find another Mata.
torres was so selfless there. . . .
there's no way cristiano is passing that ball to a team-mate. . . . .not after the bad press and nonsense in the media.

torres could have bent that ball in with his right foot, but he intelligently rolled the ball to juan mata. . .

All old players need replacement but with quality.

Some bitches think "new look" means the right to exhibit their inherent stupidity. Can't blame those with low IQ.
i hope you are seeing the new torres now. . . .playing with players who can make quicker passes is what would make el-nino thrive.

And yes, Chelseas tempo of passing has become shyte and I know where the blame lies. Its in the transition between defence and the final third. Some nincompoops used to claim Ballack was too slow but they noticed an unimagiable change in the tempo of passing when the duty to pass the ball quickly out of defence was handed from Ballack to Ramires/Mikel. Some troglodytes with little football knowledge thought that the speed of Ballacks running equates to speed of mind until the faster Ramires showed that physical pace and speed of passing are two different things.
chelsea rely too much on their pensioners and it's really hurting their style of play.
mourinho would have sent lampard, terry and drogba packing. . . .they are too slow to make any smart passing these days.

chelsea should give young players their chance.
cech-terry-lampard-drogba. that spine was formed in 2004 and chelsea still rely on them to win games in 2011.

@ Coogar,
Shebi Torres was playing for Chelsea when he stunk up the Spain team in 2010 and disgraced himself at the World Cup.
Was Torres playing for Chelsea when his poor form got Roy Hodgson the sack?
most of the big players had stinkers at the world cup.
and just before the world cup, torres copped 18 goals + 3 assists in 22 apps for liverpool.

as an aside, rooney, drogba, ronaldo, messi, van persie, etc all had stinkers at the world cup.
has rooney lost a yard of pace too? even under hodgson, torres copped about 9 goals + 6 assists in 23 apps for liverpool in spite of his stop-start-stop injury-ravaged season.

Admit it mate, Torres has lost half a yard of pace just like Alan Hansen said.
alan hansen is a simpleton. i know a world more about football than 50 alan hansens.
he's just bitter torres ditched his darling club. . . . . .maybe torres has lost a yard of pace but same can be said of rooney or any ageing striker.
good midfielders or good managers must play to the strength of their beloved striker. . . .and they must do that with quick passing. . .

chelsea are too pedestrian with their tempo.
it's like watching a paint dry. chelsea only score these days by physically overpowering their opponents.
nothing to do with wits or smart movements.

personally, i don't think carvalho, di maria and benzema are good enough for the team. . . . .there's a huge question mark on higuain as well but he can always start from the bench(so no immediate need to sell him off).

jose needs another centre-back to partner pepe.
the central midfield is good enough as well. . . . .jose can punt for bastian in there though(if possible).

it's the front four that needs tweaking.
mourinho should sign hulk and tevez(lone striker)
ronaldo - ozil - hulk triumvirate to support tevez as a lone striker.

what this formation does is 4 interchangeable players - it will be hell for any defence cos they can all rotate positions.

@ Coogar,
When was the last time Torres ran off the shoulder of the last defender to score for Spain?
In the famous words of Alan Hansen, Torres has lost the ability to stretch any defence.
Get his nuts out your mouth jare.
when was the last time torres played for spain? chelsea have ruined torres. . . .
the same shyte happened with shevchenko - square peg in a round hole. . . .i cannot imagine someone like hernandez in chelsea, he would be starved to death with no service at all. chelsea's wingers rarely do early cross. . . . .they must get to the goal-line before delivering it compared to dirk kuyt who epitomizes fast-paced service.

liverpool's style of play is much different, they did release the ball much earlier which either put torres clean through or isolated him with a defender. under chelsea the build up is slow and laboured so when he gets the ball he's facing away from goal most of the time and cos he's lost his acceleration/pace due to his injuries it's harder for him to get past them unlike flat-track bullies like drogba and anelka who still rape their markers because of their physical frames.

The same Ballack, Malouda and Anelka produced the quickest passing in the Prem, hammering teams 8-0 on the regular just 12 months ago. Pace of passing is never an issue until Ramires joined the team. Ancelotti and Scolari both had to drop Mikel for Ballack cos they complained about the speed of his passing. By the time Mikel initiate his "give I give" passing, the opponents are already back behind the ball.
in one side of the mouth, you are slating mikel's passing in the midfield, in the other side, you are blaming torres?
which is which - mr ibime?
it's either you admit chelsea's tempo has become shyte or not. players like torres thrives in quick delivery that puts him one on one with the last defender or which puts him through. i cannot remember the last time any chelsea winger delivers a pin-point cross on torres' forehead. these are the kind of goals torres thrives on. . . . .not the snail-speed, laboured nonsense chelsea play these days.

villas-boas should sell alex, terry, bosingwa, essien, kalou, lampard, anelka, drogba.
they are all cancerous to the squad. i can't wait for the match on sunday. the only snag is cleverley's injury - i am not sure united's quick passing will be as fluent as the previous matches with carrick replacing tomahawk. i would have predicted a 4-0 rout against chelsea.

The only liability is Torres.
Mikel especially is one of the main guys who slows the game down.
torres is no liability. . . . .it's chelsea's system that has made torres dud.

chelsea's tempo is too slow, it sickens me. . . . .only flat-track bullies like drogba, anelka, malouda can thrive in such system. . . .
torres is not that kind of fish cos he's not as physical as his team-mates. . . . .torres wants a quick pass so he can run on the shoulder of the last defender and pop it in like chicharito. . . . .chelsea's midfielders are either too slow to deliver such passes or they underhit/overhit it. . . .even when the passes to torres are accurate, a smart defender has read the passage of play and he easily dispossesses el nino.

tottenham with their array of fast wingers(bale, lennon) would suit torres more than chelsea.
villas-boas should have swapped torres for modric + £10-15m

Those with any sense who have watched Chelsea over the last 3 years, from the tactical change first intorduced by Scolari and then continued by Ancelotti would know that their games were based on quick interpassing and the speed of passing was considerably slower whenever Mikel was in the team.
forget tactics, ibime.
chelsea's passage of slow and quick interpassing became slow as the core of your players aged.
from lampard to anelka to malouda to ballack to drogba, etc. all of them aged. their quick thinking diminished and the squad needs to be revamped completely. it has nothing to do with mikel obi.

4llerbuntu,

wenger is the most powerful individual in that arsenal board.
he is the one that calls the shots especially in the player transfer shiznit. . . .
wenger made serious mistakes in the summer - and this is why i think he needs assistance. someone like david dein to jock him back to reality.
cesc and nasri should have been sold in july. ample time to carefully look for able replacements to plug the holes and bed in during the pre-season.

wenger left those deals late. . . . .either hoping barcelona/man city would back off or he left it late so he could get a better bargain. he failed both ways.
armand traore went to old trafford as a left back, and wenger knew he was going to be sold to qpr the next day? did he expect traore to play a blinder at old trafford knowing he was going to be sold 24 hours later? is that the board's decision as well? everything that has happened in the club in the last 5-6 yrs is down to wenger.

oyb, have you had something to eat this evening?
perhaps, it's your menstrual cramps!

oyb:
keep contradicting yourself - one moment you are blathering about wale  and your brother, the next you are telling us 'no one can advance without kissing arse. make up your mind.
your comprehensive skills need fine-tuning.
i said 20% get there by merits and 80% do so by kissing arses
go back to the previous pages and read my comment instead of barking loud.

adenuga,  wale tinubu conoil and oando are 'service industries?'
adenuga was a common taxi driver in new york.
he's a front for nigerian polticians. . . .fact is, you cannot make it huge in nigeria without dipping your hooves in politics.
wale tinubu must have kissed some arses as well in abuja - no big deal.

gtbank does not produce anything of value?
f@ck this gtbank nonsense you are spewing.

AjanleKoko:
Don't embarrass yourself further. You don't know who he is, beyond maybe hearing about him from your 'siblings'.
of course, i never claimed he was my uncle.
i didn't school in nigeria but i was told he was the first naija guy to crack cisco's ccie. . .
whether he went to ife or cambridge does not puncture the direction of this argument. save the hollow sound bites. . . .

i'm sure you are going to tell us now you and wale were best buddies, in the same chess group in unilag.
come on, mr aja, drop the bomb.
asswax!
