hav always said nani is a better option than valencia, at least he is two-footed can go on d outside n on d inside and like coogar said his productivity has improved in d last season n half PLUS he now tracks back better(very important dis wknd cos mata's inward driftin will drag our rytback infield n open up space for ashley cole's overlaps).
what makes nani handy is the fact that the front 3 behind chicharito can all swap positions instantaneously without limiting their potency.
nani can play anywhere up front, same as rooney and ashley young. valencia is so limited with his right foot and i wouldn't trust him on the left flank or in the centre.

@emperoh,carrick is SLOW,LAZY n PEDESTRIAN.he is d mikel obi of united! he is overdependent on his longrange passing and rarely runs into space on tym  SO he wont fit wit united's new pass n move game.regarding his much vaunted creativity we didnt nid it when hammering arsenal!
carrick had a woeful game last night. . . . . .it was horrific to watch.
it must be obvious to fergie now why we lost emphatically to barcelona in wembley. . . . .benfica kept slicing that midfield with no bulldog pressing them. even when he had the ball, the tempo was so slow and he chose safe passes(sideways and backwards) instead of pinging it forward.

anderson and cleverley can run with the ball. they can dribble and when they lose possession, they can track back faster, press for the ball and retrieve it back. cleverley's artistry would be missed against chelsea.  giggs is also a good dribbler but he would have to play 5 times better than he did last night.

please do not be sstupid?? i said pronounciation DOES NOT exist as a word deliberately NOT BY MISTAKE.  does ithuh

simple question are PRONUNCIATION and PRONOUNCIATION the same thing

are  08033453434

 08032453434

the same phone number

if i say one number does not exist and you supply another that does what is you point
if i say nution does not exist and you say nation does does that make you clever
the simple point i was making was a subtle one so be quiet
stop embarrassing yourself, mr man and admit you never knew the word pronunciation exists. . . .
you said. . . . .

aribisala0:
lots of English people  i have met even university graduates say pronounciation and it does not exist as a word
you said. . . .english university graduates you have met say pronunciation and it doesn't exist.
if they said it, they meant pronunciation, not what you think you have heard - pronounciation!

don't tie yourself in more tortuous knots.
the verb pronounce probably confused you and you thought the noun would be spelt pronounciation.
anyways, the correct spelling of what you have been hearing your graduate mates say is pronunciation.

Not the Fletcher i saw last nite!!
I do love to see Giggs start but then, i can't really trust him to exact the required energy
Ando and Carrick will do for me. Double creative ball passing and one with more energy.
Young and Nani on the wings. But can someone pls ask Nani to do something more productive with his final balls.
Dude needs to lower his selfish play also

All in all, i expect three point though it's gonna be a tough game
But i pray it's interesting!!!
2 goal assists last weekend. . . . .
what else must nani do to be respected on these pages? undecided

You obviously have no children or don't give a F%^$ about them,  typical comment from a thoughtless, non-caring person,  you should not be so quick to publicly show such a negative characteristic, doesn't say much good about you!  But why should I be surprised, seems to be the trend here!  Have a nice day!

“Please help me to shift”
“It's a serious something”
“She gave birth to a male son” ----- A MALE SON?

“I will soon slap you now”
“They’ve taken light”
“I came to your office and met your absence”

We ve  been together for 2 yrs now, our families are aware of the affair as we ve started making plans for the future and her aunty happens to be my colleague in the office. Though she disapproved of the affair at first but later gave consent. My fiancée has been great and promising, hardworking, happy, supports financially and we had great times together before this incident. The main issue we had before now was that she hid a major part of her past with her boyfriends/lovers. Early this year, she was posted to Abuja for her NYSC of which I helped influenced. Her Aunty and her husband resides in Abuja so her accommodation was an easy task. Though her aunty works with a bank and was transferred to Kano. She had 2 stay with the husband before moving to Camp the following morning.
At about 3-4 am the next day, her Aunty’s husband came into the guest room to commit this unholy act. He was already wearing a condom and jumped on her (she had only her nightie on). He forced himself on her, covered her mouth and slapped her several times before Desecrating her sad. When he was through, he left the house and later returned in the evening to apologise. He  begged her not to tell his wife or anyone. After sometime, he asked her if she would continue to Be Intimate with him and in turn, will take good care of her. She refused and threatened to tell her aunty. This happened 6 months ago and I was not informed till we had certain issues about her previous relationships before she agreed to tell me everything after much pressure angry. She still has not informed her aunty or anyone.
The problem is that I am undecided whether to call it quits with her as I am already losing my mind because her aunty and her randy husband are not strangers to me. She has been crying and begging me not to leave her as she is ready to do anything to keep her relationship. This great affair is on the verge of breaking up. Please I need Matured minds in nairaland to help me review this situation and suggest what should be done as I am really confused undecided.

Thank you in advance and God Bless.

Not a bad line-up, but would rather see Smalling or Fabio at rb. Jones can get a little complacent. He often allowed Petrov to put in crosses too easily at d Reebok, that could be very costly against Chelsea.
fabio won't start on sunday. . . . . .he was very knackered last night and united would need tall big players at the back.
evra is short one already.

any of jones and smalling can do the right back position.
the main issue is who replaces cleverley. . . . .

apologies for the error of omission. . .

I gave you data on literacy level of people between 15—24-year-old. and yet you are asking of stat on university graduates. people who are between ages 15-24 are expected to have graduated or about to graduate from the secondary school and universities respectively. The average graduation age for Nigerian universities is about 24-25 years. So, what do you make of that?
i take it that all 15-24 yr olds in each region all go to universities, isn't it?
no one goes to other post-secondary schools, polytechnics, technical schools or colleges of education, right?
it seems you still don't know the difference between a degree holder and a higher national diploma holder. . .

the topic of discussion is university graduate . . . . not 15-24 literacy group.
more students within that age group might have preferred to attend other tertiary institutions but a university in the south east more than the south west. this will then skew the statistics and you would not get the accurate figures of who actually bagged a b.sc degree.

chamber2:
This is a 2010 publication by the National Bureau of statistics

http://www.nigerianstat.gov.ng/uploads/latestRelease/de4f17834ea0c57a9e1f440d029aebaa460863d0.pdf

All information regarding literacy level in Nigeria are contained therein. If time permits, i may still upload data on Nysc mobilisation by state of origin.

So, there is no basis to suggest that western universities are doing better than SE universities. In fact, i once lived in Oyo and Osun state and i can say that non of these states can match imo and enugu state in terms of refinement and literacy.
i have seen the 2nd link but you are drifting off tangent now.
literacy level at the university level would be more complex because by then there's more migration at the tertiary institution levels.

you have only proven eastern states in general have more literacy level. . . .you have not been able to isolate tertiary institutions or gone deeper to isolate university graduates as we all know tertiary can mean polytechnics, colleges of education and universities. . . .

the stats provided have not supported your claim that there are more graduates in south east universities than the south west.
i will wait patiently for your nysc mobilization stats. . . . . .the stats you provided here is just pissing in the wind.

you are really a time-waster, ain't you?
all i keep seeing is adult education, primary school and secondary school. . .

where is the statistics about university graduates?
then when it says south east or south west. . . .is that state of origin of the students, or the state of the schools attended?

if chukwuemeka of imo state attends unilag. . .
will the stat reads south east or south west.

I stated earlier that other universities have an anti cult group composed mainly of students. How is this different from the awo boys? Let me tell you, only very few western universities can stand south-eastern universities. Maybe only the likes of OAU, UI and maybe Unilag.
the only school in the east that can stand toe to toe with the 3 schools you listed from the west is uni of nigeria(nnsuka).
others are overhyped polytechnics as far as i am concerned.

What you are saying holds no water. As far as Nigerian universities are concerned cultism is the order of the day. OAU may have minimal level of cult activities but that does not suggest that the university is devoid of cultism. The degree of cultism in the west currently is unmatched. You claimed that eastern universities have the highest level of cultism. But Schools like Unad, Lasu, Akintola Uni etc are currently the leading universities in cult related activities.
Cultism is a menace among Nigerian universities, even though there seem to be a change in focus, from cultism to ''yahoo yahoo'' which is currently keeping boys ''busy.''
i reiterate, oau is devoid of cultism.
there are several graduates of that school on this forum. . . . .pull them here and let them tell you about awo boys.

awo boys have their court rooms, torture chambers and prison cells for any student that misbehaves.
if anyone is suspected of cultism, he would prefer to be arrested by policemen and locked in the prison than to be taken to the awo boys.

if you don't know - now you know!!!

Every university now has an anti cult group, composed mainly of students. So, it is not peculiar to OAU. My Uni for instance has an anti cult group called ''peace on campus.'' Any suspected cult member, just like in OAU, was severely dealt with by the student security outfit. One thing with Nigerian university students is that those in the west seem not to know that there are other universities in Nigeria except their western universities. The easterners also share the same sentiment. We don't give a bleep about OAU, UI and the rest.
awo boys are not anti cult group - they are the students' union plus any student interested in preserving peace on the campus.
awo boys are the biggest posse in any nigerian university and the most powerful. . . . .i don't know much about other universities in the south west but eastern schools and some schools in edo/delta states have always been the most notorious in cultism. those in the west are very aware there are other universities in the east and they know most of them are shyte schools - this is why there are more eastern students in the western universities than vice versa.
