Unfortunately, we have brought in players at the wrong time. It would have been nice if they had time to play together (preseason). But as it is, we have to use real games to help them gel. Luckily for us, we have Swansea before the Champ's league game. Il play Per simply because in the long run, its likely he'l be TV5's partner for most of the season and the earlier they get to play together, the better.

Kos and Djorou will have their opportunity in the CC and FA Cup games. We've got Swansea, Dortmund, Blackburn (prolly one reason why we've brought in Per), Bolton and Olympiakos next.

from what i have observed, koscielny is actually decent with vermaelen. it is when you ask him to be the leader in the defence that he screws it up.
he's yet to have a bad game playing alongside vermaelen cos tv5 is a natural leader. he reads the game well and he is vocal in the defence.
how many games have tv5 + kos played together and do you have any statistics of the outcome of those games?
