the nigerian law is mostly modelled like the british law. the british courts don't recognise pre-nups. if a billionaire marries a woman today and she files for a divorce next week, she would be entitled to half of what he owns. if the brits don't value pre-nups, i don't see it ever working out in nigeria.

My boss used to send one of us to go check on the case to know it's status. It was eventually thrown out.

Note d law recognizes the contribution of the wife. Even if we didn't build up the Fortune together, she supported you by feeding, cleaning and general taking care of things. The law views it as if she had worked in the office with you. The more years the better. The marriage act is very accommodating to the woman. But there is a lot of ignorance out there and the process can be tedious
