As per the village issue, how wide is a boy genital zone? What do they stand to loose? Their champion can easily be wrap with herbs, can u wrap a girl's core with herbs. Boys can easily be taken care of, can u do dat to a girl without damaging another thing. Female genital is very sensitive and prone to so many things.

At the end of the day, there are pros and cons to it but it seems the massive influence of western opinions which preach discrimination against females at the expense of males, has taking a grip on the general attitude towards female circumcision.

@ coogar, according to the research of the doctor, he said foreign bodies are introduce to the child's body through dis act and a woman's internal body can house infection for as long as possible without it being diagnose or the woman feeling anything. Women are prone to infection. Regards ur question, our lifestyle, feeding, act or any other things we do now are not what dey do then. Am sure thousands of girl child would have died from dis act alone cos in some tribes dey circumcise their daughters after first menstruation and not wen dey are babies.

I hv a 27yrs old younger brother( child of my mum's friend) that got circumcised last year cos his girlfriend run away wen she saw dis thing. Below is a conversation I saw on my husband's phone with a girl he once asked out, which he claimed that d said lady didn't date him.

Compelling opinion I must say, I can't even presume to know much about the pros and cons of FGM...but the popular opinion is that the only negative side-effect is reduced feeling during sex and ultimately a low sex drive.

On the other hand, I've heard some women themselves debunk this opinion.
So what really are the pros and cons of female circumcision that makes it far worse than male circumcision, this is what I haven't yet fully understood.
