testerfuze should be the first student in this lecture room. in my last battle, he actually asked in his verdict if i had any wordplay in the entire script - i was like WTF? how can i pen 50 bars & not have a single wordplay in it.....

it's fair to say more than half of the people giving verdicts on here dunno a lot about battling. they cannot spot multis, they cannot spot puns & wordplays unless you use parenthesis.

this needs to be addressed otherwise people reading how things are done here from other forums would be laughing at us. shout out to elymax for this concept.....when voters don't understand a line or a bar, i think they should ask battlers in the chatroom to explain before giving their verds.

I nullfied all your useless stats already.

Most importantly, official records show Hazard has been better since he came. Professionals have spoken. whoscored has spoken.

This is why Hazard is at least 50 million in the market.
my stats nullified whoscored - whoscored tabulate stats per game. even if hazard spends 3 mins more per game than hazard, he would appear to be better because in those 3 mins difference, his stats would be padded up. whoscored does not take players who take awoof penalties into cognisance - a goal is a goal as far as they are concerned.

their stats is dodgy - this is why diame has been better than your £300k/week obese striker this season. why not swap diame with rooney then since whoscored has fooled you into believing their dodgy collated stats.

You have resorted to theory now. lol grin

One more killer to end the argument: There is nothing to check about minutes played. Both guys have the same number of minutes this season. And Hazard murders Silva, even though Silva sometimes play as a number 10.
the fake allegations have started....
when have you ever seen silva as a number 10? he's an inverted winger with the license to roam anywhere he pleases.

yaya toure plays more in the hole than silva - city always start with aguero/dzeko or dzeko/jovetic. when it's time to lock up, they take a striker off, push yaya toure in the hole to cause mayhem to the opposition & add one gorilla to partner fernandinho.

elampawa, you don't have to lie to sway arguments. hazard is also given the license to roam at chelsea. he interchanges with the floating 3 behind costa or torres but he has less creative bone than colonel silva.

elampiro:
Mr Coolie-guy, Hazard has defated Silva twice. That cannot be a mistake.
i have provided statistical comparison of both players in the last 3 seasons & silva shat diarrhoea(watery faeces) on hazard. hazard can't even step to mata......na silva ę wan compare himself to?

khaki ain't leather - let hazard fight it out with matt jarvis or stewart downing. silva is miles ahead.

Nani's Omission Is Baffling & Farcical
In this most unpredictable of seasons, perhaps it is apt that we have an exclusion from the PFA Player of the Year shortlist that not many would even have dreamt of predicting. Most of the big names are in there – Carlos Tevez, Rafael van der Vaart, Samir Nasri, Nemanja Vidic, Gareth Bale, Charlie Adam and Scott Parker – but not the one player who has probably caught the eye more often than anyone this season: Nani.

The Portuguese has acquired a reputation as a preening, showboating moaner with a predilection for throwing himself theatrically to ground at the slightest of contact. He is by no means popular, but what is incontestable this season is just how effective he really can be.
He has cut out many of the needless tricks and flicks which used to rile Manchester United team-mates and supporters in equal measure, and his overall impact has increased substantially. Finally Old Trafford is seeing Nani realise the potential that Sir Alex Ferguson spent around £18m to acquire.

Following United's 2-1 victory over Manchester City in February, Ferguson spoke glowingly of a winger he has not always enjoyed a close relationship with, saying: "I don't need to trumpet his improvement. He has been consistent all season. He is a match-winner who creates goals and he scores them. He had seven strikes against City and that is a high ratio for a winger, particularly in a big game. He is showing maturity now. Every time he gets near the box you think something is going to happen. When you get that, you have a great player."

Well, in the wake of his exclusion from the Player of the Year shortlist, perhaps Ferguson did need to trumpet Nani's contribution. In reality, his statistics should have done the talking for him: 29 league appearances, nine goals, 16 assists.

It has been a dazzling season when looked at merely in those simple terms, but even they do not tell the full story of Nani's campaign. In a United attack shorn of the pace of Antonio Valencia and without an in-form Wayne Rooney, it has been Nani who has almost single-handedly carried the team's main attacking thrust. His goal threat, his urgency and his dexterity have constantly served to allow the league leaders to break at pace on the counter-attack, and it has been Nani who has most been able to punish tired legs late on in games when United appear most dangerous.

Dimitar Berbatov may have more goals,
Wayne Rooney may have more fans, but if United win the Premier League this season, then Nani will deserve more plaudits. It is just a shame that somehow he did not garner enough of a popular vote among his fellow players to even make a six-man shortlist for Player of the Year. It is baffling and utterly farcical, but the supporters at Old Trafford will know just how important a contribution the Portuguese has made for his team this term.
few honest british journalists could see the fraud from a mile away then but this particular journalist(from daily telegraph) isn't popular to make himself heard loud enough.

so mr elampawa, PFA vote is sometimes about popularity contest.

Ronaldo injured, Ronaldi this Ronaldo that. Go and fight the professional players for voting Giggs. If Media engineered his sympathy votes, how come Hazard who was unknown got voted over Silva who was already established? Was Silva not supposed to have been better known? Mind you, Hazard was voted not once but twice- two seasons. Haba!
because the media love hazard more than silva -duh! how did bale get a sympathy vote over nani in 2011? how did rooney steal votes over drogba in 2010? rooney won nothing - drogba won the league & the golden boot but it was rooney who got voted in by the PFA.

like i told you, it's a sympathy vote!

What did I tell you then? I told you that Di Maria's purchase was independent of getting Vidal or any other player for that matter. I told you we would buy Di Maria and stillcomfortably buy Vidal and pthers. But you wrote something ridiculous and emphatically so, that Young was greater. shocked
where's vidal now?
you said we would buy vidal - so where is he? why are we still leaking goals in the back? you don't have an answer....

This has got to be the most nonsense post on nairaland this football season. I will take this that you have accepted defeat. grin You posted like someone who has never used stat. If Hazard committed any such errors, it would reflect in his ratings. Fot the fact that Hazard is rated higher than Silva shows Silva was the one who probably had errors leading to a goal or losing possession in crucial areas. The most important thing, though is that Hazard got the higher overall score. cheesy
you better look up & see their statistical comparison on a site that plots per minute. david silva is sòdomising hazard again for the 3rd season running in spite of the fact that chelsea are having an excellent season & city have lost games already this season.

statistics never lie - silva is more successful with his dribbling, he wins more tackles, he creates more chances, he makes more key passes. who would a manager choose between the two? of course - it's silva.......if hazard isn't careful, he would end up to become another rooney.

* Ronaldo regressed in 2009. He wasn't EPL best player that season. You cannot know better than the professionals who are involved.
how did ronaldo regress? he started the season with an injury - he had an operation after euro 2008 & he delivered the premier league on a platter of gold. he took united to another champions league final - when the chips were down.

a good header against inter at old trafford, a good goal(goal of the competition nominee) at porto, a brace at the emirates to take us to the final. in the league, had ferguson not taken him off in some of the games, he woulda won the golden boot again.

so tell me - what did giggs do this season to win the PFA player gong? apart from the game against chelsea at old trafford where we beat beat them 3-0, giggs was anonymous that season. the media engineered his sympathy vote knowing it would be a disgrace of a player who has played for 18 seasons had not won the PFA gong.

* You told us Young was better than Di Maria because Young was shining in the preseason. In fact you stated you didn't want Di Maria because he would add nothing to the team. You said it so emphatically. Young and Di Maria are not in the same league even if Young hits form 300%.
yes, i said spending that huge money on di maria was insane & we should have spent it on areas where we were deficient. remember as at then, we had not bought blind & rojo. they were not even on the radar, the rumour of di maria came from nowhere & you wanted us to get him and leave the defence & midfield unattended.

* Silva has 5 turnovers, 18 dispossed, got dribbled 20 times. Total negative activities = 43.
Hazard has 10 turnovrs, 13 dispossed, got dribbled 4 times. Total negative activities = 27. cheesy
you are a quack statistician!
is this how OPTA analyse statistics. do you know how many of hazard's turnover led into the opponent scoring a goal? where was silva dribbled? did he offer himself to be dribbled to buy time for his covering teammates? you cannot nitpick stats in isolation & add them together.

silva rapës hazard again for the 3rd consecutive season.

You need to issue an apology letter to Di Maria and then pay a fine to this house.
i said ashley young(if fit) is as productive, if not better than di maria. that claim is still very valid. i don't want to start digging young's résumé again.

- i have done that more than 20 times on this thread, i even challenged you to find any winger better than young in the whole of europe(minus ronaldo/messi) and you ran away with the tail between your legs.

unfortunately for young, he is unfit again this season to re-produce the form that made SAF pay the top dollar for him in 2012. as far as productivity is concerned, only few wingers can match ashley young in europe. his performance in 2007 got jose mourinho sacked.

elampiro:
Van Persie has the worst record for us this season. This is shocking all the more considering he hardly gets involved. In 2012/13 he was second worst to Buttner.
Januzaj has been very poor in this area since last season. Falcao has not also done well considering the few minutes played.
you don't understand stats!
i dunno why van persie is being brought up in a debate that involved silva & hazard but i can defend the dutchman.

van persie is a centre forward. he's constantly marked by 2 centre-halves & he operates in high pressure zones on the pitch. there's hardly any striker with a good turnover stats....

hazard isn't a striker. he's further away from the opponent's box than a centre forward, why then is he losing the ball twice as much as silva who play the same role for city? it then means the more hazard dribbles, the more likely he loses the ball.

your fraudulent stats is only showing attempted dribbles - it didn't say how many of those dribbles were successful in the end. the turnover simply shows eden hazard is a liability & this is why silva has outpassed him in the last 2 seasons.

it's only a chelsea fan that would read the headlines & run away with it as a fact. berbatov only became surplus to requirements after he had won the golden boot, not before.

you are really a fool to say messi and cr7 only score on small games. season in; season out, they both score more than 4 e'classico goals each on both legs. I'm yet to see a season where neither of them scored in an e'classico encounter. the same bibao that would flog man utd as's anytime; anyday, same Ronaldo humiliated them with a hattrick, just yesterday.
so what is the percentage of messi/ronaldo's goals in el clasico to their total goals in every season in the last 5 years. you are so poor in spirit, your dreams are in black & white. how did you even manage to get on the internet if you are this dumb?

Liverpool was the most inconsistent team of that season
what has consistency gotta do with grudge games? liverpool can be in the 6th division & still raise their game to beat man utd. football isn't mathematics. chelsea beat all their title rivals last season but lost to sunderland & crystal palace.

however, a fool like you wouldn't know that.

tevez played 31 matches , while berbatov played 32 matches and tevez scored in more games than bebertov. you and your useless berbertov went on more than 2 months without a goal. shame on you. what berbatov will do with a ball , mikel would do more with an orange. fool!
you can always tell when an amateur is trying to analyse statistics. tevez played 2,511 league minutes, berbatov played 2,208 league minutes that year: that's a difference of more than 300 minutes between them - which translates to 3 ninety-minute matches and an extra 30 minutes to boot!

you are still counting number of appearances in 2014 and you call yourself a football fan? a billygoat must have urinated on your head as a child. even with higher number of minutes tevez got plus 5 awoof penalties, he still could not outscore berbatov.

you should cover your eyes in shame & weep!

More than Silva who has Kolarov or clichy to bombed down the left flank.

both teams play the same system. azpi & ivanovic make plenty of crosses & they bomb forward. fact remains silva is the better player no matter how you look at it.

What a statement

They score that much goals cos they're the best. The el-clasico is just another 90 minutes of football, so I'm wondering how many goals you want them to score, and your assertion that other teams can't be reckoned with is just laughable at best. Messi and CR7 score their goals both home and abroad even against EPL teams
the point is - every game is valued the same. goals scored against osasuna has the same weight as the goals scored against barcelona.

only a complete plonker would come up with "he only scores against smaller teams". every striker in the world has scored more goals against the minnows than the big teams. that's simple logic.....you can only beat what is put before you.

lol. I don't even rate Okocha so high. I know where I put him. I don't rate many dribblers high- Etim Esin, Denilson, Write Phillips grin, Robinho, But there dribbling even got them where they are otherwise they wouldn't get the rating to come out of their villages.

When 2012/13 season started and I saw Sterling and Hazard, I immediately like them. I have liked Di Maria and Robben for ages. I have never really be a fan of Ribery even though I know he has pace and power.
the point is a through-pass and dribbling are expected to achieve the same thing. break the lines & get through to a striker. through-passes are quicker & can catch defenders unaware. dribbling is predictable & it doesn't go as planned all the time.

through pass >>>>> dribbling....just like.....
interception >>>>>> tackling
