AirborneLacer: Coog it's not even about the style, Cesc was shoehorned into attack cos Barca's triumvirate of Xavi, Iniesta and Busquet were deemed to be better.let's be honest - no midfielder can break that triumvirate of xavi, iniesta & busquets. between those 3 players together in a midfield, they have destroyed all the big teams in the world - club or country. |
chrisley024: Good pass from Fabregas.kagawa can do that everyday of the week.... |
AirborneLacer: Fabrepass is still phucking good and lethal.he wasn't mismanaged! cesc no longer suited their style. the education he got @ la masia was diluted by wenger's archaic methods. you can't blame wenger though, he had to develop cesc for what the english league required. |
fabregas is a witch! christ - how more intelligent can this little fella be? he shouldn't have left england at all - he's born to play in this league. what a sëxy assist for the second goal! |
lekkie073: oh sorry, he is not "as good as robben"he's as good as robben! the stats you reeled out is about appearances. no one uses number of appearances to analyse stats, number of minutes is more like it. then you have to factor the kinda opposition robben lines up against every matchday. the second best team in germany last season conceded 9 goals against a united side managed by moyes. finally, how many of third robben goals were awoof penalties in his league? has nani ever scored a penalty for united in the league? never. has robben? that's definite! |
lekkie073: robbenwho said nani was better than robben? do you people read at all before writing? |
boyo44: Nice post guyhe's as good as robben if he can sort out his fragile mental strength. i think nani plays better when he doesn't have to look over his shoulder or fear for his place in a starting line up......and that's not good enough! if he gets the kinda pampering rooney & valencia get from our fans, nani is as good as any winger in the top division. he's got more ammo to hurt any opposition than any winger in the land but he needs to do it more often. |
www.nairaland.com/attachments/1636289_image_jpeg9f360c5ab7736510df54c882e9dbf188 cech should force a move - it's the end of an era. but dayyyyyyum, this chelsea team looks the strongest in the league. jose has managed to build a monster squad yet again. there's quality all over from the goalie to the attack! |
MrTA: I believe so, not just him though. We need more than just Di Maria. We need his spark and pace he provides though. I'm one of Nani's biggest fans but he might have gone stale at the club and maybe needs a change of scenery to get back to his best.unless he can get a run in the starting 11 he wont get that at the club as you didnt put him in the starting 11 yourself.the only thing nani needs right now is a good run of games & plenty of love from van gaal. what he showed in the last 10 mins against swansea tells me we have a potent winger waiting to explode if used very well. di maria is a waste of time & money. i would rather we use that amount to get another world class central midfielder. We absolutely need a Vidal type, a Hummels type, di Maria and maybe Blind if we're serious about challenging the top teams otherwise we wont do better than 7th. Just look at the improvements the top teams have made.we need 2 world class centre-halves, one world class central midfielder. the spine of the team should be cast-iron. when the spine is flawed, the whole body is useless. a spine of: de gea-hummels-vidal-mata-van persie should be enough to get us a second place comfortably. |
MrTA: Both we dont, and we need more quality to prepare for injuries, and we need more pace in the team, especially in the attacking areas. If LvG has the squad he wants he would prefer to play 433. He's just playing this due to the limits of the squad now. He also said he played this with holland due to strootman missing through injury. So we need a squad geared towards attacking with 433.so do you sincerely believe di maria is an upgrade of what we have got at the moment? seriously? |
raumdeuter: The 2 key games vs Bayern and Barcelona in Nou Camp he got red carded as early as 30mins with his team 2 goals downwhat about the first leg that terry's defence kept a clean sheet? you are a mumu, dayo! |
MrTA: Outside of that we simply need to freshen up the team with new blood. So some of those players need to be sold. Even the Madrid,City and Chelsea of this world and signing lots of players to breathe new life in to their squad. Thats what we badly need at the moment.if we had these 8 players fit on saturday, we would have destroyed swansea. -----------de gea------------ ----jones--smalling--evans---- -rafael--herrera--carrick--young -------------mata-------------- -----rooney----van persie------ this is a far scarier team with loads of potency than the one we fielded. it's difficult to assess the squad with the kinda injuries we have. only vidal & blind should come in. |
MrTA: The level of incompetence at the club right now. Smh.but what kinda luck do we have that these players got injured/unfit at the same fücking time? rafael evans shaw carrick anderson valencia welbeck van persie these are first team players for feck's sake. if we buy players to replace all of them, what happens when they return back from injury? i looked at all the top teams in the entire europe & we are the only ones with this injury curse. |
raumdeuter: The old isnt saying much. Its like calling someone the best Swedish captain.chelsea didn't win it, bayern lost it! you are looking at one game - how did chelsea get to that position in the first place? 13 games give you the CL title, not one. get some perspective...... |
nateevs: Perhaps we should check Willian's minutes and compare them to Hazard's then. Since it seems so easy to create chances. Perhaps for once we can know exactly what average and inconsistent really are.gimme 15 mins to get the info from the hacks..... nateevs, there you go......turns out willian creates more chances per minute than hazardous. www.nairaland.com/attachments/1635325_image_jpeg9f360c5ab7736510df54c882e9dbf188 |
bukatyne: Trust me, some do discuss their families alone and bring up discussions around their families when not necessaryit is what bothers people the most that they would talk about. family is important - how come single men don't find this offensive as much as single women when talking to married women? |
bukatyne: True but then married men rarely gist about their families aloneit's impossible that married women only talk about their families alone. single women only pick that out of the 25 things that were discussed and choose to be offended by it. |
nateevs: In the other question, can Schurrle, Wilian and Salah create 50 chances?that depends on the number of minutes & the number of set plays they take. what's the biggie in creating 50 chances? |
nitlad: While I agree that Moyes' contribution to your thread's 'development' is immeasurable, you are not counting right! before now, muki used to lock threads after 100 pages and then create another one. united have had about 6 closed threads while you guys were rocking one. arsenal threads used to be the most visited because people just like to make fun of failed clubs. then arsenal fans fled the forum as they could no longer bear the shame. united became the battle zone of wits......until moyes turned a fruitful mother into a barren one. |
Graxie: Try turning her cliitor, gently while sucking her breast, u will b shocked at d outcome.did this work for you? ![]() just because it worked for you doesn't mean it would work for others. like i said few weeks back, majority of the nigerian women have the sex drive of a shoe! i pity the OP.... this is why i would always support premarital sëx. i'd rather deal with this kinda problem before marriage than after. women love to talk the talk but they rarely walk the walk. after fulfilling all righteousness, marrying a woman that is a log of wood in bed is extremely unfair. |
nitlad: LOLunited's misery under moyes was responsible for the crazy hike in traffic. people like you coming here to organise parties with rêtarded DJs fighting to host those parties brought more comments here. although united thread has always been a battle ground of wits & analyses, but it was just slightly above other threads in terms of traffic. moyes' daft tactics & stüpidity made us the laughing stock & thus more traffic! |
Danhumprey: I think he will step up his game now that he has been made the captain. Let's give him time and the benefit of doubt.well..... we go again in the coming weekend. let's see if he steps it up. a brilliant rooney is what we need to get back to the top. he's the arrow head for now & it's so important that he delivers every time he wears the red shirt. it's just funny when people think i witchhunt rooney. i called him out on saturday for poor performance, his fans became enraged. now that rooney himself has admitted he was poor on saturday, the rooney crew has kept mum or hiding their tails between their legs. |
ElFenomeno1: I am not disputing he is a behomoth LOLjohn terry would do anything to get his team a win. he would defend with all parts of his body - hands, legs, head, anything. that's the difference between him & gerrard...... apart from puyol, i dunno any captain as vocal as terry on the pitch. he's always talking, screaming, pointing fingers & directing his players who to mark & where to stand. terry alone is worth 25 league points to chelsea. lalaboi: It is unfair on Hazard but it has to be said! He is still lounging in the slightly above average level. I want to see him destroy opponents week in week out and not fade away today and come back tomorrow.even 4 of those 14 league goals were from awoof penalties. his statistics last season isn't that fantastic but he can always improve though. he has all the attributes to be a world class winger & he needs to start impressing jose now before he becomes tossed in the bin. |
nitrogen: ![]() he has about 28 other monikers he uses to "like" his own posts. don't worry, elampawa would be back in due time. |
ElFenomeno1: In the EPL?!anywhere on the planet. terry is a lion in the way he charges his team to victory. he's the english puyol. if arsenal had a player like him in the last 10 years, there's no way you woulda been trophyless for 9 years. |
ritchboy: Nateevs makes more sense than Ibime these days...no he doesn't...... hazard is a bloody good player but nateevs exaggerated a bit on hazard's influence to the team. there's nothing hazard can do that oscar wouldn't if given plenty of minutes. nateevs also erred with the analysis of cesc. fabregas can mix it & he's more direct than any spanish midfielder i know - that's exactly why he was booted out of barcelona. fabregas can play the route-one football. receive the ball from chelsea's half & ping the ball perfectly on costa's path to goal. hazard can easily become dispensable if cesc brings his long passing game into the team. everything depends on the kinda striker costa is. if he's the type with an excellent first touch, close control with an exquisite finishing, then hazard's days could be numbered. mourinho is going to prefer the direct method more than hazard's wing wizardry stunt that could be entertaining but with a high risk. |
nitrogen: Yes, he was a bit fantastic on Saturday, but saying that Di-Maria has never played that good in his entire career is completely out of it, Di-maria is a fantastic player, and i think he is consistent too, while Nani's inconsistency is out of this world.i still do not think di maria is a better winger than nani. buying him would be a waste of money. di maria is the most inconsistent winger in the top teams. don't let his statistics fool you, he has goal machines like ronaldo, benzema & bale who would score from half chances(even when the cross or the final ball is poor). nani had 94% pass accuracy on saturday. he rarely gave the ball away. he killed almost all the defenders that stood in his way with smart dribbling. his passes were also bloody accurate & that last cross that fellaini cushioned down for januzaj to volley was going into the net till rooney blocked the shot! |
raumdeuter: Ivanovic and Cahill more than cover for Terrywithout terry's guidance, ivanovic & cahill are deer in the headlights. terry is the best english captain in the last 15 years at least. he's a leader of men & a bloody good organiser. he tells cahill/ivanovic where to stand. yes, cech could be replaced but he's still a very good goalie. all i am just trying to say is players who play centrally make up the spine not the special electives like hazard or willian who are stationed wide. |
nitrogen: Coogar!!!! Smh!don't shake your head, just watch the video & count the number of dribbles & penetrative runs nani made as a substitute. it's not his highlights, it's all the times nani touched the ball. also watch out for the number of times rooney missed simple 2-3 yard passes to a team mate. the last chance nani created with januzaj volleying a sweet shot on goal, rooney became a swansea defender & blocked the shot. ![]() |
Danhumprey: Rooney needs the help and cooperation of the other players! He can't do it alone.nobody would help rooney to pass accurately in short distances. about 7 good attacking moves broke up from rooney's feet just because he cannot make simple passes. that's very poor by his own standard. then again, the bit about him needing cooperation is misplaced. mata, kagawa, januzaj and nani are competent support and cooperation any striker can ask for. the video below documented all the touches nani had in the game against swansea. watch it and tell me if di maria has ever played this good in his entire career. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=QpELsTCKIQ4 |
ROONEY ADMITS POOR PERFORMANCE "I just had a bad game and I was the first to say that when I got into the dressing room, I didn't play well. You have those days. But being captain is always a responsibility I have had in me, especially on the pitch. It will be a little bit different now off the pitch with new responsibilities. But I have always felt I am a leader on the pitch so it won't be a major difference on the pitch to what I normally do and that is to help us win games.and yet some posters are defending the indefensible when the player himself has admitted he was poor on the pitch & that he didn't lead by example. |
raumdeuter: Terry, Cech are easily replaceable in Chelseareplacable with who? hazard & oscar? |
