El Guapo: [color=#0066ff]Lmaothey have only 2 top sides and 16 rubbish teams. they get a one month rest, one less domestic competition and they play only 34 league games per season. so what if bayern beat man city? cardiff & aston villa have also done that in the past few weeks with a budget that cost less than javi martinez so i don't get the bayern love-in i read here from ceremonial rëtards like ibime & dayo. |
El Guapo: ^^ [color=#0066ff]Well, i recall pointing out the Super Cup game as a match Alaba couldnt hold his own.and yet blind bats like ibime & jackbauer would be rating nonsense based on the very weak german league. if chelsea were a bundesliga side, the table at the end of the season would read... P34 W32 D1 L1 GF100 GA12 PTS97. similarly, bring alaba to the premier league & watch super fast wingers take him apart. even in the game against arsenal, kieran gibbs made alaba look like a pub team defender. like i have always said, germany don't do defenders - their strength is in the midfield & attack. www.nairaland.com/attachments/1341335_image_jpg0d5b1c4c7f720f698946c7f6ab08f687 |
dayokanu: Cashley Cole making a last ditch tackle like Robert Huth as usual. Sensible defenders dont have to make last ditch lounging tackles when they can easily snuff out danger from miles awayyou are a complete idïot.... can you not see cole had to leave his left back role to clean up for david luiz's error? why should ashley cole be making a last ditch tackle his right back should be making when he's primarily a left-back? sometimes, it seems mexican rice has eroded the intelligence quotient left in your system. https://i.minus.com/i9UXnW4NND47g.gif The gif he showed reveals to us Alaba rapping Chelsea defence as usual while they are left with making Stoke City type of desperate defendinghow did alaba räpe chelsea defence when bayern were the team to score the equaliser in the dying seconds of the extra time to take it to a shootout? if bayern räped chelsea defence then what chelsea did do to bayern defence with 10 players should be reported to the UN headquarters as a war crime.... only a complete lunatic would compare cole to alaba. it's like comparing kroos to kaka. then this plank went on saying alaba bossed games against arsenal, chelsea & madrid. duh, those matches ended in a draw. how did alaba boss games when he conceded 3 goals against madrid, 2 against chelsea & 3 goals against a lightweight arsenal side?? this was alaba getting räped by schurrle...the cross that led to torres scoring came from alaba's department. none of the goals bayern scored can be blamed on ashley cole. https://i.minus.com/ibuvczXT2hSkJ7.gif this was the top performer's chart @ the supercup....ashley cole came tops whilst alaba was nowhere to be found. www.nairaland.com/attachments/1280322_chelsea_jpgbf776690fb30bf1f0f36b793cd478804 who the fück is david alaba? alaba ko, okokomaiko ni. www.nairaland.com/attachments/1341288_image_jpg0d5b1c4c7f720f698946c7f6ab08f687 based on what happened on the night of the supercup, only ribery, boateng & martinez would get into the chelsea side. |
n0m0705: Chances created from set pieces Should be lower than last season (not sure though), considering how poor our set play has been this season, but that stat shows that our main problem this season has been conversion of those chances. I just believe we'll get it right .how can it be lower when rooney's pass completion stats in the final third is the poorest in the division. i just showed you ross barkley's stats around the final third.... this isn't even about the personnel around rooney or what not. it's rooney himself that cannot complete a pass. welbeck isn't 10% as good as rooney as a complete player but welbeck's pass completion stats makes rooney look like a pub team player. we must first improve our passing stats around the edge of the box to create chances from open play. that's where the problem is & rooney is keeping kagawa away from the first team because he's english, not because he's technically better. just look at all the passes rooney made into the box against west brom. they were all short passes but all of them were failed passes. is this the epitome of a playmaker? when are rooney's fanboys going to admit the fatso is a fraud?
|
n0m0705: "@OptaJoe: 60 - Man Utd have created 60 chances in their opening six PL games this season, 10 fewer than in 2012-13.how many of these chances are from set plays? |
dademola:i don't have your time.....if rooney's average is 74% in 3 different games(including the ones united won) then what else is there to prove? his counterparts, aguero, oscar, hazard, barkley & ozil have posted better passing accuracy than rooney in a sample size of 4 league games. what else do you need? özil averages 90% from the same position - he doesn't earn £250k per week. we have a liability on our hands. this is like paying beyonce's fees for tonto dikeh.
|
dademola: u r still doing d same thing!u brought up d stats of rooney in 3 games in wich united suffered 2 losses and recorded one win! i never disputed ur stats did i? i think we shud be fair wen we decide to use stats to nail or hail players!! all i ask is to see d stats of hazard and oscar in d games against everton and basel where they lost. also, aguero's stats in d matches against aston villa and cardiff! again, d stats of ross barkley in 2 other games wnt be a bad idea anywaysif you need to do research, go & subscribe to optastats. we have proven rooney's average is 74%. even in the game against palace where people raved about him, he posted 74% accuracy. how can a playmaker be so useless? if i put ozil's stats here from the same position, you would weep for rooney. |
dademola: d same kagawa dt keeps on admitting to d fact that he has to improve on his performances?kagawa is from japan.... having lived and worked in japan for few months, i know for a fact that people from south east asia only will blame themselves, even when it's clearly not their fault. if you want discipline, orderliness & structure, they are one of the most cultured people in the world. it's a cultural thing for them to shoulder the blame even when they are not at fault. |
dademola: u used the westbrom game to judge rooney, and came up with d 74% thingy. y didnt u use chelsea's losses to everton and basel, to judge oscar and hazard? put up dia stats in those games, and lets see! i'm still waiting for aguero's stats( i'd prefer d ones in d matches against cardiff and aston villa)the truth is - whether rooney wins or loses, he posts horrible passing stats. you have moved this argument from pillar to post & rooney keeps getting found out.....he posted 74% pass accuracy consistently in 3 league games.
|
dademola: hazard is a part of d unique attacking trio at chelsea. He is one of d players depended upon for creativity. I'm still waiting for d stats of himself, aguero and oscar.hazard as an inverted winger even posts better stats. you can do the math yourself & see rooney is a fraud!
|
debosky: What about Oscar? Isn't he JM's 10? What are his own stats?you think oscar is as technically inept like rooney with his passes in the final third? you are a consummate rëtard!!
|
dayokanu: Being Englands best Left back means zilch since England is a joke to start withashley cole räping bayern since 1881. https://i.minus.com/i9UXnW4NND47g.gif |
dademola: @cooger, u keep laying emphasis on d 74% thingy. Pls provide us with d pass completion stats of aguero, oscar and hazard so that we can compare.aguero, oscar & hazard?? is hazard a trequartista? very soon you would ask me to compare with zaha, walcott & victor moses. SailorXY: Most of the match reports I read don't confirm this assertionstudy the pass completion stats i provided....it's easily the best away match we have played this season. every one of the midfielders & attackers played well. even fellaini had 87% pass accuracy. it was the same standard of the matches we have played under fergie in lyon, benfica, roma, villareal, etc. |
Katsumoto: That isn't true; Cole is better than Alaba.ashley cole's cuticle is better than alaba. the only defender of quality in the bayern setup is phillip lahm. the others are just mere passengers that are being carried along by the creativity in front of them(midfield & attack). saying alaba is better than cole is like saying valdes is better than casillas. alaba adds nothing to that bayern side. if he gets sold tonight, he won't be missed one jot. i would even take clichy, cashley, enriquez before alaba. Katsumoto: Cole has always put Ronaldo in his back pocket.euro 2004 & the 2006 world cup was a testament to this. cole had cristiano's number back in those days. |
dayokanu: Were they not wet behind the ears in England when they won the League?and who would city fear by winning their domestic league? did you not see the jitters they had on the last day of that season? they were being beaten at home by a 10-man QPR side. Was Napoli not new in Europe when they made the knockout at first attempt?that's the same napoli that won a european cup in 89 being compared to city that had virtually no history in europe. What was the age and How much European experience did the likes of Gundogan- Bender, Hummels have when they reached last yrs finala mental block has nothing to do with age, you stark illiterate. it's a collective problem of the squad & the management. How come Jose Mourinho Madrid couldnt sodomise this Man City the way Bayern and Dortmund did in 3 consecutive seasonscity beat bayern few seasons ago & mourinho's team beat city. are you in a parallel universe? Bring out the stats vs Chelsea and see how Chelsea fared when they played Bayern despite playing the type of football Stoke City would even be ashamed ofstoke football & a 10-man chelsea got a second goal before your team did? you are a disgrace to football punditry. what's the essence of stats when you had the numerical advantage? only a fool like you would expect the true representation of chelsea's strength when you played against 10 men for more than 30 minutes. |
papparatzzi2013: Coogarrrrrrrrrrrrrrit was a typical away performance in europe. we have played worse games under fergie & in case you didn't realise, donetsk was freezing. why are people acting like we never had 1-1 draw under fergie? Fellaini was sluggish.the statistics don't agree with you. i would post the comprehensive match stats for you to see we weren't bad apart from the daft substitutions from moyes. kagawa/nani should have come on for valencia at the hour mark to launch a classic counter-attack as donetsk pushed men forward... And yes I remember ........ We missed Rooney.the man with the ill-luck? we lost the last 2 games he started. the further away he stays from the team, the better for all of us. let him improve his passing before he gets back into this team. Introduction of Kagawa and CC14 could have added better offensive option.that's the only black spot for me. the substitutions could have helped us with a second goal & kill the morale of shakhtar but a draw is not bad as well. win our remaining home games and we are through! |
nitlad: It shall not be well with any baggah that comes here to uphold this Man Shitty's midfield as a model again!city are still wet behind their ears in europe. it's a psychological problem. arsenal would have destroyed the bayern team of tonight. we saw how bayern laboured to beat a 10-man chelsea side some weeks ago. city need to get rid of their mental block before they can perform in europe. |
SailorXY: I heard we finally scored from open play?in the absence of rooney, we have always played well. moyes should have brought on nani & chicharito as shakhtar became more desperate to get an equaliser. the front 4 did superbly well, fellaini wasn't too bad & carrick bossed it. rafael was easily our best player though and i hope moyes doesn't drop him after tonight's display. thankfully, no fat scouser posted 74% pass accuracy tonight.
|
debosky:we played in a professional way. who's talking about conceding the professional way. 1-1 is a very good result away from home. the last 2 english clubs that went there got rapëd & that includes arsenal & chelsea. shakhtar are well gone in their season & are fitter than most continental teams. |
StarBoard: Let me guess.S*H*I*N*J*I debosky: Rooney didn't play - I hope you played the champagne, peerless football we were expecting.yes, we did. we didn't get beat like the west brom & city game when rooney led the attack. everyone kept more than 80% possession. that's a plus!!! |
StarBoard: Its like we didn't sign anybody this summer.with the current mood in the club, i think moyes just thought a draw was probably enough. we could have had the better of them if moyes had more spinal cord. however, 1-1 was a good result in ukraine. they destroyed most english teams that have gone there in the past. |
StarBoard: Its like we didn't sign anybody this summer.even when fellaini was overwhelmed, i expected moyes to have introduced a more power-driving midfielder.... |
chamotex: This Fellaini no go kill personthe goal we conceded was unfortunate but overall, we did it the professional way. i worry about moyes' ambition though. at 1-1, he didn't show any gumption to try and get a winner. where were the calvary to change a point to three? |
chamotex: What is going on with Zaha though?saw him on monday against bolton....he's not ready but i would play him ahead of valencia. he can be very good one moment & then do something equally stüpid the next moment. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=XowViegDvkE |
is ross barkley better than wayne rooney as a trequartista? same formation, same position, same opponents, home games and yet the rookie made rooney look like an amateur.
|
chamotex: How many minutes has Kagawa played altogether this season sef that some have already given up on him?45/540 league minutes. it's not even up to 10% and debosky is chatting nonsense known to palm wine tappers after getting high on their own supply. |
chamotex: This is not even rocket science...all we are saying is try Kagawa in his primary role and lets see what's going to happen.for plebs like debo, it's so difficult..... ever since van persie left their ship for ours, he's been making deluded comments that undermines RVP & the united team in general. rooney in the hole does not seem to assist or score from open play. we argued to give another player a chance to provide goals/assists from open play while rooney continues to score/assist from set plays & debosky can't understand that? |
debosky: So play Kagawa at 10 and Rooney at CF - but no some people don't want that either. You see, the issue of some is that they just want Rooney out.and leave the golden boot winner of the last 2 seasons on the bench? you are a quack at team management. I'm not saying don't play Kagawa at 10, but if it's ONLY at 10 he'll be effective, then he isn't ready to play just yet.we bought him to play as "10", there's no need re-modifying him. he played as a 10 in all his league games at dortmund. even his ex-manager cried his heart out when he saw kagawa stranded on the left. this is like saying if xavi can't play on the flank, he's not ready to play. that's hogwash.... |
StarBoard: It gets worse.debosky lacks deductive reasoning..... since it appears rooney cannot pass or create through passes from the hole, does it not make sense rooney make way for kagawa in a run of games? rooney playing wide on the left will not stop him from scoring/assist from setplays so his contribution to the team is hardly affected. |
StarBoard: A regular 74% passer is whome people are arguing for when it is clear he is hardly suitable for the job.there's more bad news for debosky.... when everton hosted west brom at goodison just like rooney's team hosted west brom at old trafford, ross barkley posted 90% pass accuracy feeding off jelavic. ![]() |
StarBoard: I haven't even bothered to check the stats on Rooney, and I know he's not doing anywhere near the levels of good.ross barkley(the youngster of everton) had 92% pass accuracy in their last game dovetailing intelligently with lukaku. rooney posted 74% accuracy consistently against city, west brom & crystal palace. ![]() |
^^^^ 34 long balls, 74% pass accuracy & 4 through passes say it all. why would a man in the hole play long balls if he's close enough to his strike partner? debosky wants to rewrite the dynamics of football. ask debosky how many long balls ozil has played @ arsenal? the mentality of the average gooner is in the sewer. it's this kind of mentality that condemned arsenal to 9 seasons without a league title. ![]() StarBoard: I wonder where he intends to place Rooney in this debacle we have found ourselves in.that's the thing - as long as rooney scores or assists from set-plays, he's the best player in manchester. if rooney isn't the one taking those set-plays, how would his statistics look? PS: what is an nkwobi-headed monster?a monster that has an nkwobi-head. ![]() |
