ELYMAXiimus:the peril of your deactivation serves me no purpose. let's face it.....who cares whether you post on NL or not? you are too insignificant for that to count for anything. outside this section, you are practically unknown. if someone like darkrebel or bis puts his account deactivation on the line then i woulda understood....but you? go eat a prick! the fact that everyone expects you to lose does not motivate me. this is like mayweather in a boxing ring with aki or pawpaw. |
elampiro:how good is rooney overall? why are we only counting his penalty for england? considering he has only faced shyte goalies from san marino and the likes....even djemba-djemba would hit 100% rate with these teams. rooney isn't even the choice penalty taker in his club.....he would never have been the choice taker if england never had gerrard/lampard. How could Rooney have been a midfielder? Who could have made Rooney a midfielder in his younger years? If at all, it is now Rooney should play midfield. Now he is getting old.because he stopped being good as a forward in 2010 circa. scholes started as a forward before being moved back into the midfield. Go pay your homage.hell no.... berbatov has a better record and yet i never even celebrated his achievement. 50 goals for england in 13 years is a poor record. SIRcumalot:off the top of me head alone.....i can name 10 players in the club & rooney wouldn't be among them. how's he a legend? a striker that has only 1 goal in 10 world cup games is a legend? by the same token, ahmed musa is a legend. does it not embarrass you that each of finidi george & amuneke has more world cup goals than wayne rooney? |
ELYMAXiimus:this is the problem with upstarts like you. i hope you realise i am doing your career a favour if i decide to enter the ring with you. if you cannot satisfy the conditions, then pack your bags and go home. 99% of the nigerian population expect you to lose. |
JigsawKillah:i need a thread for that on it's own. title the thread "jigsawkillah's pledge" that's 50% of the conditions satisfied. i am supposed to be travelling on friday but i will delay it to get this battle over with. ![]() |
raumdeuter:bobby charlton? mediocre? world cup winner, balon d'or winner, champions league winner, yet mediocre? you are talking rubbish, raumdeuter. |
mikuz:a)if max deactivates after his loss b)if jigsaw changes his moniker to anything i want after max's loss. the 2 of them must write an agreement letter - signed and dated....and posted on this section. if those conditions are met.....i am ready. |
JigsawKillah:chess died in the first round. everything else didn't matter. when DNA said..... "i put my hand on chess....like the pledge of allegiance." the battle ended from that point. chess gave it a good fight in rounds 2 & 3 but he had lost a lot to recover. Beat Max and I'll change my moniker to whatever you want it to beare you serious? you would change your moniker to whatever i want? this offer is extremely tempting. mikuz.....please take note of this. |
SIRcumalot:he's a modern great.....he's not a club legend. i commend what he's done for the club especially in his early days at OT. however, he should have been sold after 2012/13. I think this Martial dude is replacing Hernadez on the bench.£36m on the bench? are you kidding me? martial will start until he stops performing like he's expected to. elampiro:how clinical is rooney from the spot? without lampard/gerrard, rooney woulda been a midfielder for most of his career in the 3 lions. ![]() Coogar drop your congratulatory message here : http://www.manutd.com/en/MatchTrackerSeasons/2015-16/Feature-blogs/Praise-for-Wayne-Rooney-England-record.aspx?utm_source=facebook&utm_medium=post&utm_campaign=ManUtdi don't celebrate mediocrity. ![]() |
debosky: You still miss the point - the Barcelona, Bayern and Real Madrid teams are predominantly Spanish or German. This does not apply to ANY of the top English teams, due to the lower quantity of quality English players being produced.i don't even think it's a case of lower quantity of quality english players being produced....it's deeper than that. first and foremost, the share of the TV deal that is fairly distributed makes sure that whatever man utd can afford, spurs could afford it well. in other words, the bulk of the quality english talents are shared by 6-8 clubs in the EPL unlike in bundesliga or la liga where top teams can raid the young talents of the lower sides for fun. |
elampiro:you are basically reaffirming my stance. so without lampard's retirement from the international games, rooney would still be on 45 goals after almost 13 years? yes...he scored against brazil! what a proud achievement.....except that none of those games against brazil was a competitive game. ![]() ElFenomeno1:here we go again..... after denying he wasn't referring to me, he has failed woefully to provide any ample evidence that anyone on this thread said depay is better than hazard. elfeminine, you are a fool. my biggest concern today is the fact that your midwife didn't use your umbilical cord to strangle you immediately you came out. letting you live is a crime against humanity. SIRcumalot:hahahahaha so you are saying a player that was named the white pele should be contented with the fact that he never achieved his potential? at least we are getting somewhere. do you still think rooney will score 25 league goals this season as you predicted months ago? ![]() |
Pataki:sir? as in refer to rooney as i would do to SAF, bobby charlton, etc? pig would fly out of debosky's arse before such would happen, bro. |
Timbuktou:this is why a man shouldn't bother himself too much with their wahala. |
ElFenomeno1:you are a foolish boy! so what was my name doing in your drunken state? do you get penile erections from mentioning my name deliberately in what doesn't concern me? you started with coogar is hyping depay....you then went on a long diatribe how brugge are a shyte club. you and Pataki are on the same side of the argument so there's no way that message was directed to him.....it's a reference to what you have seen on this thread? show us that reference right now you lying bleeding cünt! even if it's a reference...then quote the reference directly and leave me out of your acute stupidity. SIRcumalot:robbie savage is also a legend in english football. it doesn't take much to be a legend in english football. rooney had the potential to become a legend in the world of football but he blew it. |
JigsawKillah:how did chess defeat DNA? chess that started choking from round one and vomiting on the stage? you people can say rubbish sha. DNA destroyed chess all through. DNA's first round was better than any other thing chess spewed. chilla is a better writer than con. con has more fans, chilla has more skills. kr0ne and ibime have the same level of skills too. it's all about preparation and it wasn't even a grudge match for ibime to take really serious. I don't expect it to be an easy ride for you too.it will be too too easy. Emaprince:no pressure! as long as it's clear the delay is from you and not from my end....hit me up whenever you are ready. |
ElFenomeno1:you are a stinking swine..... who said this? elfeminine: Coogar is a brainless nematode.the only reason you have not been shot yet is because the state considers it illegal to kill you. under normal circumstance, a poppy-brained plonker like yourself would have been executed before you spread your infection to the world at large. elfeminine: He has already scored for his new club... grin grin ... talk like Hazard is yet to score for Chelsea.... you will spew any nonsense to make a point, you are one unrepentant turd!how many goals has hazard scored for chelsea this season? 4 league games and 1 community shield game and hazard's total goals from those games is a big fat ZERO. |
Timbuktou:until they start seeing him as a mumu and they go out there to start shagging the man that treats them like debris. ![]() damiso:so you know bible verse like this and yet you are telling us about throwing iron here and there. damiso, mind yourself o. don't let us down here....you shall be getting a call soon from the united nations. ![]() |
Mourinholic:rooney hung around longer than lineker so he was always going to score more.... the only issue is rooney should have broken that record about 4 years ago. the retirement of lampard as the choice penalty taker helped rooney get there this season. how many goals has he scored from the penalty spot now? 5 already in this qualifiers? it's a pity that we might not see a league goal from rooney in a while as mata is van gaal's choice penalty taker now(until mata misses). |
Kolade354:slap me? that would be the last time you would make use of your limbs. ElFenomeno1:you are a disgraceful swine! why won't i hype eredivisie's top scorer last season? depay's past record speaks for itself. he's already scored for his new club while hidden hazard is yet to register a goal. Look I hate Chelsea more than phlegm but to disrespect Hazard by saying Depay is better is absolutely unnaceptabe. I am not having it!you are a plonker! where did i say depay is better than hazard? even after saying this much last night... coogar: of course....no one is saying depay is better than hidden.you still had the gall to lie bold-faced that i said depay is better than hazard. you need to start thinking about the direction your life is headed. if you don't put a measure of control to it, you would soon die and your autopsy shall say....death by stupidity |
damiso:i find it very hard to believe. spin the tale anyhow you want. tell us you once beat up a bus conductor, we won't still believe you. ![]() i have put your name forward to the united nations to help us solve the middle east crisis once and for all. all hail queen damiso.......the minister of peace. ![]() |
raumdeuter:they couldn't get them as at the young age those players were the required articles.... and that's exactly the big problem. any of these players would have developed better if they had spent their formative football career in a top club to refine them. alas, we usually get to buy them mostly in their 20s when they must have already picked up all the dirty habits of football which can be sometimes too difficult to take away from them. look at rooney for instance...... imagine what rooney woulda been if he had spent his 16th birthday in the united academy. there's no way he would still have problems trapping a ball. roy keane would have taken it out of him before he gets the chance to break into our first team. the big clubs get these players too late........and most often too expensive. be honest to yourself Most of these players are not good enough to meet the ambitions of these clubs. Man Utd spent 30m on Rooney and Rio over a decade ago and another 30m on Shaw. If Man Utd sees a talented English player they would buy himthese ones are the few anomalies.....many of these players often refuse to leave their parent club because of loyalty or sometimes because they can be too expensive to be shifted. Man utd currently have Shaw, Smalling Jones, Could have had CLyne too and thats a potential English back 4.if any of them had been scouted early in their mid-teens, they would have been a better product by now. luke shaw is now 20 years of age with only 4 appearances in europe. by the age of 18, rafael had already eclipsed that....playing with world class players and learning the ropes in europe. it's always better to catch the talents at a very young age, make them learn the philosophy of the club, blood them quickly in the group stage of the UCL and you would get a better product. I dont think its the FA that told Liverpool to outbid Man Utd for Clyne or would you play Henderson, Sturridge, Milner in the current man Utd teamyou are not getting the point..... the issue is that the big clubs want to sign many of these players at a much younger age but they are restricted by the FA's red tape. most of these players would have been top talents at a young age but they suffered bad player development wherever they grew from and turned shyte to mediocre overnight. by the time they become known in their parent clubs(mid-table teams), the opportunity to finetune them early has been lost already! |
Nihilist:hazard has never scored the kinda goals depay scored against brugge! it doesn't take rocket science to spot a good player. depay is the real deal. |
freecocoa:i mean it very much imagine such arms around a man during winter......with those arms, a man does not need a duvet! ![]() |
raumdeuter:nah.... the truth is the FA want the strength to be fairly distributed in the league. in another country, 95% of the best English players would be packed in the 2 top clubs in the league. however, you have that strength everywhere with players like baines, jaglieka, etc playing for england. how many CL games have they played in their career to even qualify for playing for their national team? SIRcumalot:did you see gundogan against Poland? he's their best player by a considerable distance. he was running through defences like a machine. you would actually mistake him for messi. |
raumdeuter:so ask yourself why liverpool are buying those grade-B players but wenger, mourinho, SAF didn't really want them. about the rule.....read this... http://bleacherreport.com/articles/66919-school-for-football-the-premierships-way-around-the-90-minute-rule |
Kimoni:my neighbours don't mind..... they like the sound of pounding....it reminds them of konga music. ![]() freecocoa:i actually find serena's arms sexy. ![]() |
UniqueGem:of course....no one is saying depay is better than hidden. at least, give that kid a chance to showcase his talents before they crucify him. the most annoying thing is that elfeminine fool opening his gob. thierry henry didn't score a goal for arsenal until his 10th game or so and he became a legend at arsenal. someone like him should know better but in his bid to sound relevant, he brainfarts..... |
raumdeuter:as it should be for most countries.....but never in england. the bulk of the national team players always come from the top 2 league teams in the country....england is an exception though. in majority of the tournaments, liverpool who rarely makes the top 4 tends to have more of their players in the 3 lions than man utd or even chelsea. the FA in their bid to play god are responsible for the mess. there's a 90-min rule radius that prevents top teams from signing any bright youngster to develop in their academy. in other words....if there's a messi-like youngster in southampton....united cannot sign the player to develop in our academy cos the distance is more than 90 mins. so unless united sign a foreigner or a manchester-born kid, we are already handicapped. whereas, barca, madrid, bayern, etc are free to sign any kid in the country as long as the kid is willing. |
raumdeuter..... i saw your game last night against the scotsmen....germany can actually replicate spain's achievements in the past 5 years. the team is super-solid. if you can get reus fit for the euros.....i don't see any team stopping them. |
Kimoni:that is ijebu..... this is the you-kay. ![]() |
Classsyalabolas:that's so unfortunate..... i was actually anticipating what to expect from you in this tourney. well.......until another time. JigsawKillah:i don't have time for lilliputs, bro my focus is on emaprince/kr0ne if and when they are ready to clash swords with me. i didn't call that cunt out.....he's not worth my time. if i win, he has all the excuses typed out already. ![]() he would blame Jupiter, lunar eclipse, NEPA, etc on his loss. i mean....everyone expects him to lose so whats the point. it's no breaking news if brazil beats mozambique in a football game |
@coogar - I agree with you. Let's us go back to the traditional model...wetin sefnow you are talking..... i have just ordered a village mortar for my missus. there's a reason her creator gave her 2 muscular forearms. we are going back to the traditional model. ![]() |
ElFenomeno1:you know what hazard can do after 3 seasons in the premier league and yet you are already asking for what depay would do in 5 weeks of the premier league? you have the brain power of a male culex mosquito. no wonder they call you el-feminine. crux of the matter is - after 5 weeks, depay has scored 2 goals for his new club and hazard is yet to score for chelsea......maybe he would score in the next game when chelsea gets another awoof penalty. |
