dayokanu: You dont seem to understand transfer business.

Bayern doesnt need to talk to Dortmund. There was no negotiating process. Goetze had a release clause, the moment you pay the release clause you have nothing to do with the selling club

you and your club have no decorum - little wonder uli hoeness has tax evasion charges against him. fraudulent bastärd secretly opened a swiss account where he siphoned his loot!

bayern munich is an embarrassment to football! so the payment for the release clause was paid to who? to enyimba of aba? can the selling club not refuse to receive payments from unscrupulous organisations like bayern? cheesy
Bro., it very rare to see people sentenced in court(no matter how small it is) taken to cat D prisons... They'd rather give them community service, than throw them there... There are plenty petty shoplifters in cat B and C prisons - and that's one of the most petty crimes you can commit...
individual cases vary. there are so many variables attached. you would find out those shoplifters in cat B and C prisons are prolific offenders. ordinarily, no shoplifter should even go to court, the police almost always release them with a warning.

Bro., they don't follow the rules - that's why people keep making complaints about the prison system... Also, UK prisons are overpopulated...
so why wasn't he attacked cos i know every prisoner wants a pëdophile shanked!

People get community service and restraining order all the time for domestic violence when there's no bodily harm involved... Heck, people charged with affray are mostly given community service - I'm yet to see anyone sentenced to prison for affray!
when there's no established ABH/GBH, then it's difficult to even open a case. serial offenders go to prison for the pettiest of crimes. reoffending is the biggest turn-off for these UK judges. once there's a previous criminal record then it's touch-cloth!

Most cat B and C prisoners are on 23 hrs lockdown as well... You only get more hours to associate if you work, go to the little college thing they do, and when the prison wardens/officers just feel like giving everyone some fresh air..
B and C get at least 1-2 hrs in the morning and 1 hour for the walk around exercise nonsense they do around noon and another 1 hour association time just before dinner.

Boyoorisha: LUIS SUAREZ has been given a 10-match suspension for his shocking bite attack on Branislav Ivanovic.
The Liverpool hot-head yesterday admitted a charge of violent conduct.
And Suarez’s season has today been ended after an independent panel hit him with the bumper ban.
The standard punishment for violent conduct is three games but the FA had claimed that was “clearly insufficient”.
Suarez last night denied he should recieve extra punishment.
But the FA have today got their way and the Uruguay bad-boy is now facing a lenghty spell on the sidelines.

http://www.thesun.co.uk/sol/homepage/sport/football/4901117/Luis-Suarez-banned-for-10-games.html#ixzz2RODhdFjU
i knew he was in trouble when the prime minister told the FA to make his punishment very severe. liverpool should get a striker in the summer. 6 league matches without their best player next season would affect their league campaign!
That's on paper - people get dumped in cat B and C, regardless of the crime... Only those who're about to finish their sentence(s) are put in cat D prisons... Don't believe everything you read - it's different in real life situations...
non-violent criminals are put in cat D prisons. people that are about to finish their sentences are also taken there to help them integrate back to the society gradually.

What protective custody?? When the serial British pedos who was on the run in America for more than 30 yrs was arrested in 2010, he was dumped in HMP Winson Green with everyone else.. No protective custody!!!
i don't believe this
every UK prison has a section for the nonces they are always segregated from the gen-pop according to rule 45. the prison risks paying huge compensation if they dump a pëdo with everyone else.

However, one's a lesser crime - and more time, people get just community service for domestic violence...except the person is a serial offender, or the case was presided over by a female magistrate(and that was what happened in my boy's case)...
community service for beating up a spouse? hell no - you get at least 12 months for that. violent crimes are serious crimes in the UK.

I never compared maximum security prisons to cat D(open prison) - I compared it to both cat B and C... Inmates have access to more perks in MSP than both cat B and C prisons, tbh...
it's a balancing act!
they have to compensate those on lockdown for 23 hrs with perks. cat B and C prisoners get more hours to associate with fellow inmates.

arsenal are as likely to win the league this season as west ham! buying van persie from arsenal is not the reason they are trophyless for 8 seasons - buying gotze from dortmund would put dortmund another 25 steps away from the title - that's the difference.

had bayern bought a very good player from a club that finishes 5th or 6th perennially, no one would care! had bayern bought a player to prevent their closest rivals from getting the same player, no one would raise an eyebrow. however, to buy a player deliberately to weaken your nearest challenger is a disgrace to bayern!

first n foremost, räpists are always protected in prisons. they section them away from gen-pop for rhe fear of backlash from the other prisoners. rapists/pëdophiles are endangered species in uk prisons. secondly, while everyone is awaiting trial, no one has been found guilty yet so it's possible to have a drunk driver and a murderer in the same wing in prison. after conviction, the prisoners are moved to the category that aligns with their crimes.

prison clothes/bedsheets/towels are drycleaned and recycled every week. they give them soaps, deodorants and shampoo and even boxers and t-shirts. sumptuous meals are provided(fruits, jerk-chicken, fresh milk, rice, etc) some prisons have astroturf pitches where prisoners play quality football, gym facilities, ping-pong, snooker table, playstation/x-box consoles!

my point is - he was suspected to have been guilty of an offence yet to be determined so he might not be innocent. what led to his death should be investigated and i am sure prison authorities would have written to our high commission concerning the corpse. our diplomats in the UK are the most useless set of nigerians ever. they are insensitive and they do not care. i am sure this is the reason the prison was at the brink of cremating the body of the deceased!

his offence must have been a serious one to have been refused bail by the judge! the only reason he's on remand is because his charges are more likely to be more than 6 months imprisonment(if found guilty). so he's awaiting his trial to be moved from a magistrate court to a crown court. magistrate courts in the UK cannot pass prison sentences more than 6 months so the deceased must have done something serious.

dayokanu and his tunnel vision.....

it's the reason many of us think you are an obdurate wankêr anyways. how can you compare the depressing news of goetze joining bayern to what happens in the premier league?

firstly, bundesliga have a shallower pool of quality players - to then go and buy the best player of their closest rival is nothing short of a disgrace. united can buy a dozen quality players from the premier league and there would still be plenty of quality players left that would challenge united's title dreams - this is not the case in bundesliga!

arsenal were no longer title contenders when they sold van persie to united. you are mixing apples and oranges, mate. what bayern did is equivalent to barcelona poaching ronaldo from real madrid. as if bayern are not strong enough as it is already - the deal stinks to high heavens and it would further destroy the quality of the german league.

StarBoard: Well i do not know where you got that figure but the fact still remains we need to do better in Europe. The premier league is important, but the Champions League is where you get to rub shoulders with the big teams in World soccer. Until you test your might against those sides, I'm sorry we'll always be seen as the big fish in a small pond.
we were at the brink of knocking madrid out of it until the referee made a horrible decision that turned the game around completely. we are not slouches in europe, it's just what it is that united are competing with teams who are more financially buoyant!

And why were you riled up when we crashed out of Europe on the basis of Fergie's supposed tactical gaffe in the second leg if the competition is inferior,if i may put it that way, according to you.
of course, i want to win every competition but if i am given the chance to choose between the champions league this season or winning the league, i would rather win the league. no way am i letting man city retain the premier league!

We're saying the same thing using differing tones.
For all City and Chelsea's sides, they needed to have done better if they were going to put up stiff resistance to us reclaiming the title. Now that you've introduced the clueless Mancini in the argument, I think we both know where this argument is going.
It's no use having great sides on paper with an average manager at the helm. Benitez has also been clueless wit hthe talents at his disposal.
Why won't united win the league comfortably when your rivals are helping you by dropping silly points all over the place?
this is exactly why you should give united their credits
if teams better than them talent wise are dropping points then united should have dropped more points. however, we showed resilence and tough mental strength. 9 times united were behind and they still managed to turn potential losses into victories!

Wait, lemme get this straight:
The Fergie you've criticized all season long is suddenly the next thing to Einstein because of this signing since United became champions?
united won convincingly in spite of fergie's brainfarts.....
that's to tell you the squad itself is very good and we don't need reinforcements like you opined. we only need to get rid of the deadwood players - the ones fergie chooses sentimentally to reduce his margin of error. if we don't longer have giggs/Scholes in our squad then we are guaranteed more success cos whoever fergie chooses then on would be good enough to do their jobs!

Everybody had a right to criticize that signing based on his injury records. You even chimed in something similar if memory serves me correctly, and rightfully so given his injury record in the past. And you would have to question signing a 29-year old for 24million quid as well. . .
i repeatedly said if the best player in the league is available at £20m then i expect man utd to his for such player. his age was never an issue - it was around the same age drogba turned into a world class striker at chelsea.

And you would need to realise that we were extremely lucky in those games. While acknowledging your point about mentality,I'm not so convinced.
there's no luck in football!
working hard is what people term as luck. i want to see wigan use this luck to win the premier league. hell, heap all the luck on arsenal and let us see if they will win the league.

Please take your bias away from this argument and acknowledge Giggs' contribution to the side this term. Aside from the tottenham game at OT, he was at worst average. Better than some supposed talented players across board.
giggs is 2/10 this season - our worst player by a country mile!

As per co-incidence, we could also say van Persie was also involved in every game we lost too. So does that make van Persie a terrible player? Same for Michael Carrick. Is the Premier League's best passer suddenly a bad player because he featured in losses his side incured?
nothing to do with carrick and van persie - they have played well with other midfielders and have won games. with giggs, it's a different ball game. he's bad luck to our team. does nothing defensively and he does pretty little offensively.

You do not use losses by a team as a barometer to judge a player's contribution.
Giggs gaffed vs City, but he is not the only United player who made mistakes this season.
exactly my point, giggsy's mistakes are not going to go away.
with the younger players, you can at least hope on improvement. look at de gea's remarkable improvement for instance, rafael? evans? cleverley? what improvement would giggsy give again? he's as useless as valencia's left leg and besides his continued stay in the squad is hampering the growth of our younger players. we lost pogba to giggs/scholes.

I don't share that sentiment.
Someone who hardly lasts 65 minutes a game cannot be adjudged to be excellent.
He simply hasn't lived up to his potential at United and it is time we cut our losses on him and let him go elsewhere.
65 mins is enough to put a game beyond one's opponents....
fergie is a dïckhead - if he had anderson for 65 mins against city next to cleverley, we would have held our own. use giggs after games are done n dusted - he should stop starting him!

City that hadn't won the league in donkey eons and United who win it perenially.
Why won't City fans invade the pitch given the long wait and the drama that followed the title win? It's hardly any basis for comparison, mate.
Besides, something you and other United fans should think about:it's no use winning the domestic title every other year without being able to mount a proper challenge in Europe.
So I'm not getting carried away.Sure it was emphatic, as any response should be given the circumstances of the previous season's title race, but I'm still not euphoric abeg.
the sad truth is the premier league is more respected on this isle than the champions league. 95% of united fans would rather win the premier league than the champions league. the premier league is a religion - the bragging rights of the mancunian tribe!

Don't need to tell you how Chelsea's season went pear-shaped after losing to United in October.
Neither do i need to remind you about the spate of embarrassing draws and losses City went through, most notably the Southampton game at St. Marys.
Both teams never got their acts together for stretches at the crucial parts of the season and both lost key personnel to the African Nations Cup in January. That may not necessarily be a major reason, but both sides had no real rhythm of form apart from the early running.
Chelsea lost at home to QPR. City kept drawing and throwing away points like they were running out of style.
so it's united's fault city kept drawing and chelsea lost their rhythm? compare the starting xi of these teams and put it next to united.... we are way inferior to them on paper. mancini's half a billion pounds squad did their best - it wasn't just good enough after 9 months!

I never said he was a one-season wonder.
I questioned his signing on the basis of the fact that last season, we didn't have a problem scoring goals.
you questioned his age and his fitness.
actually, you said it's a sad day for all united fans far and wide that fergie splashed £24m on a washed-up striker.

Yeah, even if Reading and Southampton have to scare us shytless at Old Trafford before we get the 3 points.
Vintage side indeed.
every football team goes through that. actually, it's those tough 1-0 victories that show tough mentality not the swashbuckling brand of football. the ability to scrape wins without playing well is the stuff of champions!

Really?
Ryan Giggs has been one of our more solid performers over this season.Whether you like it or not.I might not be his biggest fan but I'm sure he had some kind of input in this title win.
giggs was shyte this season - animal shyte that contributes almost nothing but puts his team in constant danger each time he plays. we saw his training ground football that got city their first goal at old trafford.... it's so coincidental that every league game we lost had giggs in the line-up.

Your beloved Anderson cannot cut it, no matter how hard you try putting a spin on the situation.
anderson was excellent when he was on the football pitch. you cannot even fault his effort. his injuries are not his fault!
