majority of the naija kids going to these schools are fresh from the boat. they make them pay through their noses via those rogue agents that helped with the visas. they must have proven the accommodation has been sorted before those visas were given in lagos/abuja. the visas will not be given to the kids on the strength that a relative would provide accommodation. that relative would then have to submit his details(bank statements, proof of address, etc).

you really have to experience what i am saying before you can comment. it's nothing compared to what i have experienced here. i have stayed in manchester, liverpool, leeds and glasgow......the racial grudge here is non-existent. both races mix freely.

If you have also ever lived outside London, you would know that there's racial tension in the UK but it's more subtle because we don't really have the population to go against them... Also, you can't compare a country where majority are children of immigrants to a country where most of them have a very dark history... However, black people here are also as violent....

the black brits don't perceive the white guy as his enemy. if he's angry at all, he's angry at the system not his white neighbour. then again, the racism in britain is not in your face like america so there's really nothing to be generally angry about. you find schools that are strictly for black pupils in america, you would never find such in britain.

The Citizenship exam comprises a 10-question US civics and history oral test, and an English-writing test. One has to pass these tests to become a naturalized citizen. Thankfully, I passed mine last June, and was officially sworn-in as a citizen the following month.

all these would bag you the ILR(indefinite leave to remain) which is equivalent to the american green card. after 12 months of bagging the ILR you can then gain the rights to british citizenship.
