how much are you paying lewadowski? i doubt he makes up to £50k per week in germany. so his contract is about £12m worth. if he makes 100k per week, that's about £25m worth. lewandowski should be available for anything around £35m - £40m. that's peanuts to ed woodward!

It appears I may have to be a little more explicit.

Ok a colleague is having issues at his office. His boss is a woman ,just 3months or so transferred to her department. She took a liking to him instantly. She always wants to have private conferences with him and has insisted on more than one occasion that he visit her place so they can finish up on some important documents there . Also on more than one occasion she has granted him undue unmerited favours like estacodes and other monetery stuff he ideally shouldn't be entitled to.

so its obvious she likes him.

The problem is he doesn't like her one bit. She isn't his type at alll. Older than him by at least a decade, not easy on the eyes in any way. Also strikes as someone looking for a man desperately. Bros doesn't want to swallow fish that will hook him.

He tried backing out of a recent private conference and the end result wasn't pretty. He was made to do a job meant for three people in half the time needed to do it. He had to do some begging and ego massaging to get off the hook.

Now it looks like she is consolidating her efforts and he doesn't know how to go about rebuffing her without hurting her feelings.

Any ideas what he should do?

women despise rejection - i can tell you that from my own experience of office blues. he either surrenders to her or he should be prepared to leave the organisation. no man can win with a female boss that is bent on having an affair.

they are relentless, passionate, driven & would not stop until they get what they want. if she discovers your friend has another woman or he's interested in another woman, your friend is in trouble. if your friend refuses her advances, your friend is in trouble. it's a lose lose situation.

Sometimes its hard to quit some things by just going cold turkey and so advising people to cut them out gradually might be the best way to go.

I have actually cut them out totally and these days I think I can even live with eating very lil rice sef ( anyone who knows me knows I love my jollof rice and ayamase).

You are right for some things though going cold turkey is the drastic solution .. not had fizzy drinks ( coke, sprite, Fanta etc) in almost 10 years.

He's right dami, I cut out eba, amala for almost a year but ate yam about twice a week and did not touch bread and pasta for about 8 months and I have a testimony , as of this morning it is 8 inches off my tummy, I can even see lil' miss naijababe if I suck in my tummy a bit now, an impossible feat before .

There's not much wrong with oil, sugar is the problem and carbs especially our starchy staples are packed full of the stuff

rice is very fine. it's way lower in calories than what 100g of pounded yam would do to the body. amala is a disgrace. ugly before consumption & very harmful after consumption.

Its hard cos thats what most of us were brought up with, but baby steps each day at a time and we can get there.

i was brought up with those yeye foods too but i stopped in my JSS3. i knew they weren't for me & i have not missed it one jot. i suddenly realised i was the healthiest of my mates. i have never spent a night in any clinic or hospital. they are all following my lead now but its a tad too late for many of them.

Salsera if you must make sure you eat more of the soup/stew (with lil oil) and very very small amounts. Like small amounts that after two or three scoops( okeles ) its finished

avoid them completely.
poison is poison. people who eat them regularly will die quicker. people who eat them sparsely will be affected too but at a much later date. what's the difference? eventually, they will both have the same outcome!
