dayokanu: Torres was given 20 league starts UNINTERRUPTED WHy cant Demba Ba be given same before we compareif you give ba 30 starts, he wouldn't score as many as he would have done in newcastle. any team with 3 number 10s all competing for the space a striker should operate undermines that striker. the system chelsea play is the reason torres is not firing. if you bring falcao to chelsea, he would not score 15 league goals in one season. |
jennykadry: You need to visit naija more ofteni visit naija all the time - maybe you should visit more these days that naija men are now the gold-diggers and not the other way round. naija men spend because they are sure the woman would do the same or even more if they had the opportunity. the truth is most naija women are very nice, even when they don't have cash to give, they would render the service and that counts for something to! in that wise, it's not unusual to see men spending on their partners in nigeria. |
jennykadry: Not all human beings.then you are not being told the truth........ seek the truth and you shall find. no man would go out of his way to do his woman any big help if he's certain the woman would not do the same if the roles are reversed. i wouldn't even marry such a woman to start with, let alone buy her a car. there are other things i can spend my money on. jennykadry: Then why marry a woman who wouldn't do these things for you in the first place? Why marry a selfish woman who can only give you a pack of Bonds boxers? Why do some Nigerian men spend on their wives regardlessthey spend on their wives cos they are somehow sure she would do the same in their shoes.........it's a no brainer. |
jennykadry: Why only do things you know your partner would do for you? Is that what marriage is all about?that's the way humans are built! we read the intent - if my partner is the type that does not joke with her money, why the heck would i break my back to satisfy her needs? she wouldn't do the same for me, she probably even thinks i am foolish buy such expensive stuff for her..... |
jennykadry: I would buy a car in my husbands name., I see absolutely nothing wrong with that. If its a family car then it does not matter on whose name he bought it in but when it is a gift for his wife,I would expect him to do the right thing.that's you......would the op buy a car in her husband's name? men are not dumb - they do stuff for their partners only if they are convinced their partners would have done the same if the roles are reversed. if your man suddenly comes home and presents you with the keys of a bugatti veyron - he must have concluded you would do the same for him if you have such money in your purse. |
jennykadry: Thank you. He is using his financial power to intimidate her. He still takes care of her but has a weird way of doing it, like buying her a car in his name etc.in whose name should he have bought the car? if we reverse the roles, would the poster have bought a car in her husband's name? i don't think so. in all honesty, the poster is just hair-splitting. what the husband said is valid and it applies to both parties. either of them is allowed to walk out of the marriage if they feel choked. |
dayokanu: Let Demba Ba start 20 uninterupted games like Torres did from August to December and if he would retur the same miserable numbers Fernandu doeswhat's the meaning of "let ba start 20 interrupted games"? a striker has scored just one miserable league goal in 213 mins and you want him to start 20 league goals, at whose expense? dzeko and chicharito shouldn't be scoring at all if "uninterrupted games" are taken into consideration. we have been hearing how ba or any other striker would score 35 goals if they play for chelsea. the proof is right there staring at you - 1 league goal in 213 mins. numbers don't lie. ![]() dayokanu: Juan Mata 1700 minutes 10 goalsthis is exactly the reason strikers don't thrive @ chelsea....... the team functions to favour the attacking midfielders - since the roaming 3 behind the strikers don't do any sort of wing play, they encroach the space torres/ba love to operate. any long ball to torres from deep is expected to be held by torres whilst the roaming 3 become runners, blow past torres to receive the ball and score from it. there's no wing play, through passes to centre forward are few and in between - so how would the strikers thrive? |
jennykadry: Didn't I hammer on self esteem issues earlier? You are his neck and your opinion should matter as much as his. I and my husband also have healthy arguments, he tells me the reason why he wants to buy something and I give him my own solid reasons why he shouldn't get that. Like debrief said, she was scared of arguing with her current husband cos her ex made her feel like opinion did not matter and a woman's place is to just shut up and listen to her husband. This new husband of hers encouraged her to gain back her personality and give him a run for his money when necessary.no man(sane or insane) wants a mumu wife..... men want wives who can handle home affairs when husbands are away from home. men actually enjoy/welcome healthy arguments as long as its devoid of emotional sentiments and blah blah. if my wife presents a good case why i should not get another car, i would agree with her! |
dayokanu: Demba Ba got a shot on target and a follow up header before he got his nose brokena shot on target and a follow up header that went off target is the reason demba ba was bought? roflmao......so it's no longer about goals or assists, it's now about shots on target? at least torres made 2 assists in the last 2 league games - what has demba ba done in 213 mins? just one solitary goal in the league and i am sure he would have scored at least 3 goals @ newcastle within the same time spent on the pitch. you still think torres is the problem? |
troubledSoul: Am so confused right nw and hurting.but he's right......marriage is indeed not a do or die affair! this is why there's a process called "divorce" should any of you get fed up in marriage. nothing is worth dying for. your husband is a wise man! |
dayokanu: I agree. Now the Torres coach Benitez still cant get him to do zilch. WHen Benitez gets sacked that would be how many coaches who have lost their jobs due to Fernaduds cluelessnessdemba ba - 1 goal in 213 league minutes for chelsea. of course, torres is the reason demba ba has been a flop for chelsea. he has heckled ba's predatory skills or torres has consulted a sorcerer or fuckever excuses you would come up with. ba started against newcastle before he got his own nose broken - he was useless throughout his stay on the pitch. |
https://i.minus.com/ibgHqhQSjO45bZ.gif another match winning save from de gea.......surprise surprise, we have not heard a word from his critics who gnashed their teeth. |
....... |
lalaboi: Coogar part 2? loool or cloneyou're a tool..... virtually everyone that opposes your herd mentality is coogar......i bet if your girlfriend gets taken to bed by an unknown dude, you would assume coogar did the deed. i still don't understand why you'd think i need to change usernames to call out you fools. is it that i'm scared of you or you are genetically distorted? which is fecking which? nitlad: RdM is on a meteoric rise, the same cannot be said of RB who is on a downward spiral!meteoric rise? do you understand the meaning of the word? how do you go from being european champions into crashing in the group stage? di matteo overachieved. full stop! it's like a village boy from okokomaiko beating usain bolt in a 100m dash with everyone expectig the village boy to maintain such consistency or with greece winning euro 2004 and everyone declaring their manager as the bestest in the world. chelsea should never have hired rafa benitez but the lack of options meant he's the only one available that has some knowledge about the premier league and you need such experience in the middle of a season. if chelsea sack benitez now then who would replace him? avram grant or gianfranco zola? chelsea should persevere with him and hand him his sack letter at the end of the season. chelsea's problems run far deeper than who's at the helm. |
the girl needs to be told what it means to be a grown man. |
coded guy: Why do I have d feeling Fergie will sneak Giggs in somehow!giggs? hell no he's only good starting from the bench these days..... |
montelik: ^^^ We are at the Bernabeu in 9 days and have to face Everton who cost us the title last season and battered us in the season opener, next weekend.play anderson/cleverley in a 2-man midfield....vidic/rio as centre-halves. nani and valencia as wingers, rooney/van persie as strikers. evra/rafael as full-backs. we would murder everton at old trafford! |
dayokanu: Are you now backtracking that benitez is a useless manager?you are a tool - when did i ever say benitez is an excellent manager? this was my comment when benitez was about to become chelsea's gaffer.... coogar: if chelsea hire benitez, he would take them from their current position to 7th. be prepared to have loads of substandard sheep from spain too.....he's the poorest man manager in the history of the game. roman should take a punt on harry redknapp.....he's the only dude i can trust with this chelsea side but his man-crush for lampard is a turn-off! |
Ibime: Oh now, finally you are admitting Emenalo makes signings and is responsible for squad building. I thought he was just the toilet washer at Cobhams.you are a fraudulent pukebucket! nateevs did not admit anything - he only insinuated even if we agree(for argument's sake) that emenalo's role @ chelsea is big, it's still not the sole reason the results have been piss-poor. personally, everyone is just speculating! no one knows who does what or what not. however, chelsea have an excellent squad - i would manage that squad and win the premier league at a canter! |
otokx: but the camera did not capture his voice na, was even wondering if he wanted to kiss the camera, una don start again o, una for wait make the cup reach 9ja first na.can't you lip read? he said so three times!!! |
montelik: Yawa don gas. Carrick is out with a hip injury, suspected he might be out at least a fortnight.ando-clev, please! thankfully, we don't have any tough fixture coming up so we should be fine! |
tb joshua predicted his debut goal for the super eagles against venezuela in november. maybe the spiritualist had predicted the outcome of this match to him and onazi is just saluting his pastor! all i am just asking for is they should bring that cup home - he can marry tb joshua after that with their bromance! |
ibime is a complete bellend...... alex ferguson/arsene wenger would win the league at a canter with the same crop of players. no strength in midfield? chelsea's midfield is stronger than united's midfield. |
where is jarus? |
Ibime: The powerless toilet washer at Stamford Bridge. . . so powerless, Benitez is asking him for players and trying to find out what he likes. . .so this now means emenalo selects the team and maps out the tactics you don't even know how ridiculous you sound with your line of argument......this is why it's not good for one to be too fat. the adipose cells are making you ptyalise balderdash! |
ifyalways: rofl.ebelebe igba!!! |
2sexy: I am traveling tomorrow...to catch nicodemus? can we get a live feed of the operation? how many SWAT teams are going in and who's overseeing the operation? |
nep2ra: This is exactly what I have been asking myself and other football pundits for a long time now. Over the years, the use of the wings to unleash a deadly attack or volley of accurate crosses have become redundant. Is it because the use of the wings is becoming less popular in recent times? Someone please educate me.it hasn't become redundant - keshi just forgot his coaching skills! every serious team deploys the wing-play. even when you have inverted wingers who love to cut in, the full backs become wing backs. what's brazil without roberto carlos or cafu? what's man utd without valencia/nani? what's bayern without ribery/robben? barcelona sef use alves and alba as the outlet to supply the crosses. the best nigerian team ever had finidi/amuneke tearing defences! abeg, who has keshi's number? |
Tolexander: ikedia in the list of the caliber of player mention?pius ikedia? one of my favourites at the turn of the millennium! i remember the friendly against scotland. he murdered scotland. his combo with aghahowa then was fire! |
operation catch odiaero!! just bring him to me when you apprehend him. i know a fortress with the modern torture chamber. i am going to make him excrete all the money he has eaten from his victims...... i am so vexed right now that this dude has destroyed lots of lives because of his swindling ways. |
ayusco: @coogar wing play would b ideal if we had the right players but for now its only Moses we have whose head is screwed on straight. Shout out to MBA that run that led to goal pure guts n glory. The look of bewilderment on Thomas mlambo face priceless can't wait to c that of mamadou gayethe defence gets 10/10 from me - they were magnificent! they dealt with everything ivory coast brought to the table. i never knew a defence without yobo or any big name can do such a good job against seasoned professionals like yaya toure, drogba, kalou and gervinho! moses is the only good winger we have? musa is not bad - he's got the technique but his final ball is nothing to write home about. if he has time to look up to deliver a cross, i am sure he would do better. with ivory coast and south africa out of the competition, we have no excuse not to win it from here. only nigeria can beat nigeria from now on. |
Jarus: You play wing play when you have players to prosecute it. Definitely not the Ahmed Musas. We have not had an effective winger since Finidi (later Babangida)/Amuneke days. We have tried forcing ourselves with fake flank play but it has not been working for us. Today, we used central midfield, and not flanks, and we got results. Even Moses, operated more from midfield than wings. It is not by force to use wing if you don't have players to execute it for you. Adapt to what you have and make a great use of it.exactly - there's a reason the wing play has not been working.... the full backs are either lazy or they have been instructed by keshi not to overlap. when moses gets the ball on the flank and he's being marked, a full back should be overlapping and creating a passing option. moses either passes to the full back to make the cross and if the marking defender chases after the overlapping fullback then moses would have the time to measure his cross to perfection! you cannot tell me a nation of 160 million cannot produce wingers. moses is a good winger, plays for chelsea. he needed help several times today to cause an overload but the help wasn't just there. every good team uses overlapping fullbacks - that's modern football. ben iroha, ifeanyi udenze, celestine babayaro and even taiye taiwo are adept to being wingbacks - why is this current team not expansive enough to utilise all the attacking routes? abegi, there are many ways to skin a cat - keshi can improve! |
