Niseamaka: Looks like you cannot air your views without hauling insults on others. I am not here to brag about academic accomplishments. If it`s proven that you supplied an instrument used to commit murder, you are an accessory to murder. It`s up to you and your legal team to prove otherwise in court.that's so untrue! you have to know the instrument you are supplying would be used to commit murder. if you do not know, you cannot be an accessory - the law is so straight forward |
chic2pimp: He has seen it and knows it all too well. The issue however is that there are not that many Quality defenders in the market.they don't even need hummels - it's an overkill. ryan shawcross and koscielny would do a job at barcelona! why go for a world class defender when only real madrid are the only team capable of mopping the floor with their face in europe? |
dyabman: Higuain and Torres who is a super dud?bendtner is better than higuain! |
the point of sale can be verified, ie where did the ticket originate from. same goes for the hotel room.
you mean the pos would verify whose pocket the money for the air ticket came from? what if the boys paid into cynthia's account before she bought the ticket herself from the north? what if she paid the money from her own pocket without the assistance of no one? she's dead now - nothing can be verified, same as the hotel - cynthia could have paid into their account to secure a reservation @ the hotel! i'm sure they had no intention of letting her leave there alive.scary!!! |
^not with a father and brother in the military. i doubt they had any intention of letting her get out alive. what they didnt envisage was getting caught.
cynthia left home and travelled hundreds of miles without the consent of her family, she wouldn't have that the gall to mention she was raped and if she was so aggrieved by the incident, she would have plotted her own plans to deal with the boys without her family's consent. only few nigerian girls can admit they have been molested!
well, that should be easy to verify unless she didnt travel under her own name.
it's unverifiable - if they paid for her ticket, her name would be on the ticket....if she paid for her ticket, her name would be there as well. nigeria is still far behind technologically so there's no digital footprint to trace! true.i am not sure they wanted her dead - the beating must have killed her - the drug didn't work as expected - she was half conscious, she probably tried to escape of scream when they muffled her while raining blows on her - evil miscreants! they should be fed to the lions limb by limb! |
Revolva: Look I wanna know if it is nonso pharmacy that sold the drug to those bastards that murdered cynthia ? If its not his pharmacy then why would a police pretend like a sick person and beg to sell drug - which nonso neverwanted to sell but sold out of pity and being arrested -its wrong ooo nigerian police pls I sabi una well well ok now they will start raiding all pharmacies in festac and mile 2 area if ppossible around lagos, catching innocent folks - ave been a victim before for sometin I no even know illegal raiding - threewords #fuckthepoliceif nonso's pharmacy dispensed the drug that killed cynthia, the nigerian police i know would have gone to the store directly to arrest every adult male there without drama! why would they need to dramatise nollywood before making an arrest? the only reason they could have had to raid nonso's pharmacy was if the murder suspects had confessed nonso's pharmacy sold them the drugs........no matter how you look at it, this is lazy investigation and nigerians should rise against this injustice! |
Dede1: I can not fathom how cavalierly you tend to sound on this blunder committed by Cynthia. Is it not prudent to watch and study your new friend for weeks or months before carelessly eating out of his or her hands? I guess you can now realize that the so-called new friend was not a friend after all. Human nature is filled to the brink with evil doers.if you study them for a decade, if their intention is to kill you, they would kill you.....i mean how could she possibly study people staying out of her state of residence? all these excuses are lame - instead of us to admit we live in a shyte country, we blame the victims. if someone enters a bus filled with robbers, we blame him for going out at that particular time of the day.....if someone's wallet get stolen, we blame the victim for being idiotic and less conscious of his environment. we erect huge fences topped with barbed wire and even hire guards to protect us and yet, we are still not safe - should that not tell you that no one is safe in the country and all those security measures are just a waste of time? when a target is marked in nigeria, nothing can stop the crime from happening! cynthia could have been drugged n killed in her father's house by the same people.
@ coogar true, they could also have drugged her outside the hotel, but it was just too easy for them when she accepted their air ticket and accommodation.
who knows for sure they paid for air ticket and accommodation? the story revealed she's well to do and she's the daughter of a general! the criminals might have lied about who paid for what? they had to be sure they would recoup their money back before paying for her ticket and the hotel room! not knowing it was a trap.the fact that it can happen to anybody suggests cynthia shouldn't be blamed! everybody cannot be silly - let's put the blame on the miscreants who concocted this evil plan to sedate women and torture them to death - their modus operandi is almost fool proof....but for the cctv @ the hotel, they would have gotten away with their crime and i am also sure if they had not murdered cynthia, she would have kept mum about the incident like the other victims did..... |
Dede1: You seem to be alienated from avoidable blunders. Granted anybody could be killed anywhere, there is always a rule of thumb which could readily extricate a person form tight corners. Drinking from a cup or bottle offered by a fellow she had met via social media or Internet is a dumb step. I do not think the killers of Cynthia would have forced her to drink poison in public transportation. However, it could be different stanza if she was cornered in hotel room by more than a man.they did not force her to drink - she accepted the drink willingly from her new friends. the ribena had been spiked via syringe. cynthia broke the seal of the ribena pack herself so she wasn't handed a broken seal - it was masterfully planned and if they had met her anywhere in nigeria, she would still be drugged and they would take her anywhere they wanted to before the drug hits her system! so you see my friend, travelling away from home did not kill her - anybody can get killed in nigeria @ anytime @ anyplace! the blame culture is getting tedious now - the evil should be blamed, not the victim! |
RuuDie: My main man, Dimitar "Mr. Cool" Berbatov is rumored to be on his way to Florentina. . . I'll be following you keenly Berba; all the best. Thanks for all the moments of sublime genius, I'll hold on to them to my grave!a sad day for all football purists! i would miss berbatov - the most gifted footballer of his generation. he gave his all to the most self-centred manager in the world in fergie and that faith was never returned. when rooney harangued the club to get more money, berbatov led the attack and scored goals that took us to the league title - how was he rewarded? a place on the bench! in the biggest game of that season, fergie chose michael owen ahead of the golden boot winner of the premier league....... .even with all the injustice, berbatov never complained - he never disrespected the club, the fans or the manager - he acted professionally and the injustice meted to him continued for another season by ferguson! i hope one day berbatov comes back and score a goal that would eliminate us from europe - karma, please do me that favour! adieu dimitar, i wish you goodluck wherever you may go with your touch of class https://i792.photobucket.com/albums/yy207/CLK_FPC/Berbatov-touch.gif |
Dede1: I do not know the type of business you seem to indulge every every week but if it is Internet dating transaction; I guess hotel room is a good choice but highly risky. In addition, I guess you have strict rules that guide you in dealing with your business partners you met via Internet or social media in a hotel room of all places.i don't need a strict rule if the intentions of my associates are pure - you have grown so used to the society that blames the victim all the time. the fact remains cynthia could have been killed anywhere - so blaming her for going to lagos to meet strangers is not the reason why she died - she died because she was tied, tortured and molested! I have met some people I do not know from heaven but our initial meeting places have been in a hotel lobby or a restaurant. I have strict rules that guide my business steps in addition to my guns depending on the type of business.so you think the only reason you are still alive was because you were smart or the people you met had no intention of killing you? cynthia could have been killed in her own house. look at the modus operandi - she was drugged and that could have happened even in the cab taking her to the hotel! if the intention is to kill, no one is safe in nigeria be it hotel, market, school, church, home or anywhere! |
Dude!! And again, I don't believe that nonsense about Nonso not being the Pharmacist that sold the drug to those criminals.. The Nigerian Police are crass and corrupt and inefficient, but when it comes to high profile cases with publicity like this, they cover their asses as best as they can.. I believe strongly that Nonso sold them the drug..
you are annoyingly mentally-lazy..... why would the police need to act nollywood(by sending an old man to the store to ask for the same drug) if they were sure nonso dispensed the drug that sedated cynthia? if the murder suspects really confessed nonso was the supplier of the drug, the police would just walk in there and take him without needing to dramatise - that's standard nigerian police method of arrest! in the confession of the suspects, they didn't mention nonso - there's no evidence that the drug was bought in festac - it could have been bought in enugu or ikeja where they picked cynthia. the fact they coaxed nonso to dispense a controlled drug to an old man does not prove he dispensed the drug to the murder suspects - that's just intellectual sterility! |
elimokhai: I understand the law my brother, the court works with prosecution's evidence in a criminal prosecution. the wicked prosecutor will tender incriminating evidence before the court, it is now left for the defense lawyer to convince the court that nonso be cleared of murder charges and a lighter charge for selling banned substances be meted instead. This is not the job of a baby lawyer. miscarriage of justice is synonymous to Nigeria justice system, remember in Nigeria no forensic science to save your a55, the court believes in HARD evidence. The seized controlled substances might be used against him in the court of law. He needs a GOOD LAWYER. Remember he was handcuffed with the other accused pharmacist, while the accused murderers were not handcuffed. Reasons which we do not know.by all means, let nonso answer to the offence of selling a controlled drug...he was silly for doing that and he must be punished for breaking the ethics code of his profession. however, the other charges are just laughable. it's even more hilarious that the offence of selling a controlled substance is not even among the charges brought against him - he won't be found guilty of the charges brought against him by the prosecutors and he would likely walk free - cos the offence he actually committed was not listed - i tire for naija judiciary! Yes a VERY GOOD lawyer. The capital letter connotes seriousness. My friend this is Nigeria. No one is accusing Nonso of murder, the Nigeria police has already condemned him, many innocent souls are languishing in Nigeria prisons, no thanks to Nigeria police FORCE. You will be surprise at the amount of evidence the wicked prosecutor will tender in court against Nonso, it will be too overwhelming for a baby lawyer to handle. Let me quickly remind you that in Nigeria, only the renowned lawyers win criminal cases of this magnitude.it puts things into perspective then that one needs a very good lawyer to sort out a no brainer case such as this one. i have lost all respect for the judiciary system long time ago anyways - i ain't surprised! Circumstances, the pharmacy Nonso was doing his internship was in the same jurisdiction where the crime took place. Same reason why he needs a GOOD LAWYER, incompetency in the Nigeria police force has killed so many Nigerians. In Nigeria if you are arrested in a crime scene, automatically you are a criminal, no cctv, no forensic science to bail you out. This is not America, not Europe where every police stations have their own forensic department.circumstantial evidence? they can only prove nonso sold controlled substance - the way he was arrested does not prove he was an accessory - the police should have gone to his store to offer him bribe and spin a story that they intended to use the drug to commit a crime.......if nonso then co-operated knowing the customer intended to commit a crime then checkmate! they did nothing like that and these retards get paid by the state government? bunch of buffoons! |
norrisman: I will bet my last penny that you have personally bought drugs (that need a prescription) without prescription in Nigeria. I can confidently say that you do not know what a Nigerian doctor's prescription looks like as you have never seen one before.the only prescription note he's ever seen is from a witchdoctor! someone calls himself okija-juju and you expect him to have any direct link to a medical doctor? yamakuza: lol, pun was intended ..honest mistake! if this is true,i see enough grounds for a mistrial, and the whole case (against all 4) might end up going south !think about it.... i expect the police to have done a sting operation that would have proven nonso was an accessory to the crime committed! they should have proved nonso knew the buyers of the drug were using it to sedate female victims and rape them to death! going to the store to pretend they were buying the drug to ease pains does not make nonso an accessory, it only proves nonso has been selling controlled drugs! for nonso to be an accessory, he must know what the buyers of the drug intended to do with the drug....the police have not proven that with their shoddy work and the manner by which nonso was arrested! i hereby use this medium to beg the police to do a proper job so that at the end of the day, justice will be servedi cannot trust those animals to do a honest job! maybe they were in a hurry to wrap things up ...they have ruined the case and it saddens me the real culprit is somewhere enjoying his freedom while an innocent man is being locked up! |
Niseamaka: Seconded. If one supplies an instrument that was used to commit murder, willfully or otherwise, that person is an accessory to murder. He may have sold this very drug to those miscreants and maybe to others in the past.He should face the music. This should serve as a lesson to other pharmacists in Nigeria, a country where anyone, even children can buy all, repeat, all prescription medications over the counter.so if i take rat poison from your house with the excuse that i intend to use it to kill some giant rats in my house but i then used it to murder my girlfriend then you are an accessory to her murder? did you ever pass through the 4 walls of any school, primary or secondary? |
yamakuza: it shouldnt be too difficult for them to catch himexcept if the police had took bribe from him and allowed him to escape.... you don't think that possibility is possible? i understand the pharmacy owner wasnt arrested. they should be able to know from him, who was on duty in July, and then carry out a proper sting operation to arrest that onethe police went to a random pharmacy store around the area where the crime was committed! they have no proof the particular drug that sedated cynthia was bought from nonso's store! all they did was set up a sting in a random store and they caught nonso red handed selling a controlled drug to a man that complained of acute pains! if they can arrest a murder suspect in his hometown, they should be able to get a drug dispenser on the looseand this is my gripe with the nigerian police - when they are bent on a doing a job, they can be very good but you need to rub their palms to bring out their best! all they had to do was torture the murder suspects to give up all the information they wanted....but as it is, i doubt they have done that especially when they have wrongfully charged nonso for a different offence entirely! |
yamakuza: i'm more interested in their catching the particular pharmacist who sold the drugs in Julywell - nigerian police have effected the escape of the real culprit with their idiocy! how do we even know the real culprit didn't bribe his way out to freedom which forced the police to pick on an innocent soul to substitute? |
obailala: In a case like this, it's absolutely unfair to parade the pharmacists TOGETHER with the real killers on national TVthank you.... there's no proof that the drug that sedated the victim was even bought in festac.....but trust nigerian police and their idiotic method of investigation. because the murder was committed in festac automatically means the drug was also bought in festac town in their limited intelligence. the next thing to do was then look for a scapegoat pharmacy store in festac and rope in any employee of that store with the murder suspects! how nigerians continue to put up with their police force is baffling - it's like the citizens have been cowed to tolerate this gross injustice! |
elimokhai: No sentiment in law. Your friend did not commit murder, but Felony drug charges which can cause a lifetime changes in his record. The punishment can be anything from fines to jail term or more. It can brand him to have criminal background and prevent him from EVER getting a paid job. These crimes can be punished by long term imprisonment.then let him be charged for the offence he actually committed - not get charged for something he knows nothing about. it's irresponsible for the nigerian police or the state prosecution service to wrongfully charge the pharmacist! A good criminal lawyer could evaluate the situation and make your friend eligible for alternate sentencing rather than facing murder charge which could keep him behind bars for ever.a good lawyer? i have never been in a law class but my common sense tells me there's no reason for nonso to be charged with conspiracy to murder or torture cynthia! he's been held wrongfully......saying he needs a good lawyer makes it sound like the lawyer needs to display some skills to get nonso out - its a no brainer - nonso shouldn't be defending murder and torture! he sold the drugs wrongfully to the police because the undercover said he needed it to ease pains - he did not sell it because the undercover said he wanted to use the drug to sedate women.....he should be charged with felony not murder! The sting operation carried out is permitted by law. It was done in an attempt to catch your friend "nonso" in the act of selling controlled substances, police set up "sting" operations where undercover police contact an alleged seller to schedule sale. It sounds unfair, but stings are legal in Nigeria as long as the police have reason to believe that the suspect is dealing with controlled substances. Get a sound criminal LAWYER, not just a lawyer.if what the police did qualifies as a sting operation then God help nigeria! going to a random pharmacy store that had no link to where the murder suspects bought their drugs is a police sting? i laugh in cantonese! while they are holding an innocent pharmacist, the real culprit that sold the drug that sedated cynthia has been allowed to escape! |
omalicha1: It won't be fair if he is charged along with the others, afterall the others have already confirmed that he wasn't the one that sold the drugs to them.He should be tried for selling drugs without prescription shikena! Def.not murder!!our judiciary in the 21st century is the worst in any organised society. some animals actually operate a more effective system than the nigerian judiciary! there's no direct link between nonso and the murder suspects and yet the nigerian police decided to visit a random chemist, cajoled the pharmacist there to sell a controlled drug and arrested him on the spot! who does that in this day and age? |
norrisman: Murder = delibrate act to killwell said norrisman.... some comments on this thread would tell you most nigerians are extremely brainless! of course the pharmacist committed an offence but he didn't commit the offence he is being charged at the court(conspiracy to murder, etc). his offence should centre around breaking the ethic codes of his profession by selling a controlled drug as an over the counter drug. in the confessions of the killers, they did not mention anywhere the pharmacist was their accomplice or they bribed him to get those drugs out! like the police officers found out themselves, any random individual who can beg would get those drugs anywhere in lagos so why was nonso a co-defendant with the accused murderers/rapists! i don't think there's a more corrupt organisation on the planet than the nigerian police - they know nonso is innocent of the crimes he's being charged with but they would hold him to squeeze out millions of naira from his relatives on what he knew nothing about! |
Dede1: I would have appreciated if you could name a place on earth where a person meets someone via online and go ahead to engage on blind date without serious consequences talk less of business with huge cash.it happens everywhere and she had no cash on her - she didn't just meet total strangers. they were chatting on social media before she went ahead to meet them in a hotel! where would you expect them to close this deal? in a market place? so you are saying you have never met with a stranger before? everyone you have met all your life, you knew them in heaven beforehand? people like you actually aid criminals indirectly! when you blame the victims of crime, you are sending a message to a potential criminal that he is justified to commit.....shame on you! I had wished the Cynthia Osokogu is still alive even after the ordeals so as to realize the gravity of blunder she committed. Please I pray you to keep engaging fellows you met via online in business matters and in hotel rooms of all places.i do so almost everyweek - but maybe because i operate in an environment where we have little or no career criminals, it's been smooth sailing for me. however, ask yourself these questions: if she had not met with dangerous criminals, would she have died? if she had met with these same career criminals anywhere in lagos, would she have avoided death? when you answer those questions - rethink and tell me who should be blamed!!! |
debosky: When did Dembele become a battering ram to beat opponents to a pulp or a midfield enforcer?he has since changed his position for fulham - he attempted 8 tackles(more than what ando-clev combination attempted) on saturday. of those 8 tackles, he won 7 - which then goes to show you didn't follow the game on saturday! dembele is now a battering ram! Sidwell tends to do all the dirty work in that midfield for Fulham so I'm still at a loss as to why Dembele is being compared to Martinez, M'Vila or Tiote when he plays a completely different role.sidwell is limited. i compared dembele to yaya toure not only because of physical attributes but their ability to be a box to box midfielder. yaya toure can provide a shield for his back four but when mancini needs to get a late goal - he promptly moves toure forward to cause chaos for the opposition - united don't have players of such ilk and we need one quite badly! it's not often you see united needing a player like that but the game against everton, newcastle(away) last season, bilbao(home and away) where our soft midfield got eaten alive by quack enforcers like tiote, fellaini and javi martinez saddens me! such nonsense never happened when we had keane/scholes! His style of play is eye-catching, but not particularly effective IMO. Since Fergie got Kagawa, buying Dembele becomes redundant. What you seem to be saying is that you need an enforcer like Tiote/M'Vila or the like to take Ando's place.buying dembele isn't redundant considering the number of sicknotes in our midfield! there's value in acquiring him as opposed to the tiotes and m'vilas of this world! he's 25, durable, can find a pass and can be moulded into a perfect box to box midfielder that we have been crying for since hargreaves did his cruciates! you said his style of play is ineffective? let him join united and see if you won't marvel like you did when valencia went from a no mark wigan winger to the best winger in the division! |

Was he curbing Utd incursions when Utd could've scored 6 goals before the unfortunate Vida/De Gea mix up?
