well b-rabbit has already said everything papa doc was likely to diss him about.. that's like rebutting beforehand .
am I the only one or does anyone else think that lotto dude sounded very much like busta rhymes? ✘
b-rabbit dissed himself more than what he said to poppa doc. doc just got tired of the whole ish & strolled out of the building.

sure, I'll send you a mail so you can disclose how much you wish to support the cause with . we'd also have to inform the moderators. at least 1 brawl from every stage of the tourney must make the front page.. ✘
lagunna1 & his ladies should be paying for these brawls. front page is no biggie - the big names always get the FP anyways. cheesy

John John has improved these days. Not a battle goes by where he doesn't drop 4 or 5 killer bars
the criticism has got to him & he's improved massively. t-top(the best rookie) destroyed john john though. john john is getting likeable these days so i get the point.

ayeverb was rubbish on the night - any of us here could have beaten him with the nonsense bars he served.

Hello,
I am from Malawi and my best friend who is a mother needs your advice and your reader's advice urgently. She has a 12 year old son who she brought up in the UK and now his behaviour is out of control. He constantly insults his mother, assault and stays out past 10pm on most days. The mother has tried hitting him in the past and got an official warning from the UK police after the child dialled 999. She does not know what to do now and the boy seems to get worse everyday. Please have a look at the video of the boy for yourself and please share with your readers so we can get their advice on what to do before we lose this boy.

it depends on the kinda woman she is. she could be earning way less than him and still be a rude & choleric wife.

academic history - this is nothing as far as he's intelligent. he doesn't have a masters degree because he hasn't had the time or opportunity to pursue it, not that he is intellectually sterile to cop one.

age - mind over matter. if the couple involved don't mind, it doesn't matter. one can be 30 years of age with the emotional maturity of a prepubescent teen. one may be very young with the wisdom of a senior citizen. this can also be managed.

salary/career - this is the easiest to manage. they both know what they earn. the boss earns more than twice as much as him. it simply means the contribution towards up keep world be ratio 2:1........until the dude gets promoted at the very least.

easy peasy lemon squeezy!

i know of implants - a small flexible tube shot under the skin of the upper arm. i once had a chic that was on it & it was meant to prevent pregnancy for 3 years or thereabout. her period completely stopped which was to my benefit. grin

I once had a girlfriend who insisted on going on the pill. One of the really attractive things about her, was her great skin. That went first. Bad acne. "Small price to pay huh? Afterall, it wasn't on my tab was it? Then I found a prettier one sad.

Assuming it was a complete stranger whom she cant locate again , How does she get closure
that's a different problem entirely...
if the abuser is a total stranger the emotional pain wouldn't be as intense as this. in this case, the abuser is a well-known relative.....a sex offender that abused a position of trust. the abuser is still alive, still close to the family and he's carrying on with his life pretending nothing happened.

if she doesn't confront her abuser, she can never be healed completely. going to a counsellor cannot even help. how competent are naija shrinks? sheer waste of money that would not achieve anything. her best bet is to confront her abuser. she has to get that burden off her chest to forget.

onegig: Confronting the abuser has nothing to do with her healing. If she had been touched by someone unknown would you have advocated she constitute an ultimate search to seek the unknown person and confront him before she knows peace?
then it's fair to say you have no clue on the effects of restorative justice. face to face meeting between an offender & the victim is one of the most effective cure of post-traumatic stress.

You must really anti marriage feminists good.
i am not anti-marriage!
the choices here are simple but yet feminists want to eat their cake & have it.

if a woman wants a high-flying career, she should marry without any plans of having kids. nothing would disrupt her career ladder.

however, if a woman chooses kids over career, then she should be contented with her choice and not get jealous of the men's salary cos the men are putting in more hours than her.

what you cannot do is to expect a man that works 40 hours a week to get the same pay as a woman who works 22 hrs a week. that is unfair. why & how women work less hours is irrelevant to the employer.

Thankss!
you are blessed! grin
FamilyRe: Feminism: A Joke In Nigeria—for Now! by coogar: 11:37am On Jun 09, 2015
Kay17:
That is what feminists are trying to do. You have finally understood a woman's mind. Congratulations! Pat yourself.
feminists are trying to eat their cake & have it. if women aren't as productive as men, why force gender equality down the throats of women? women would always be hampered by family issues - men don't get pregnant so there's a disconnect biologically.

Like your mother did. Loool!
and yours too......
the attention babies got from their mothers is different to what kids of 10 years got from the mothers. women generally lose interest when the going gets tough.

in other words, you are the inferior gender. grin
FamilyRe: Feminism: A Joke In Nigeria—for Now! by coogar: 11:29am On Jun 09, 2015
Kay17:
But you would admit such women and praise their bravery, right?
yes!
if it's for a greater good - saving lives. cheesy such women are heroes!

After 10 years, do women lose interest in raising their children?
yes......they do!
they leave the rest in the hands of ekaettes & akpans.

Kay17:
This is a classic example of eating your cake and having it. How are you able to deny a fact and at the same time justify it! It is a remarkable talent! The bolded will not make any sense except it justifies a difference. And the coloured is even worse! What is the customary discrimination if not for what feminists are crying against!!
if anything, you are the one trying to eat your cake & have it. you have admitted men tend to choose higher paying jobs than women, men tend to work longer hours than women but you still want them to be paid equally.

the wage difference you have discovered in nigeria isn't injustice - the rate is the same, the number of hours put in is what differs. you cannot expect a woman that skips work every now & then to attend to family issues to be paid equally as a man that is diligent at his work.
FamilyRe: Feminism: A Joke In Nigeria—for Now! by coogar: 11:24am On Jun 09, 2015
Kay17:
Ok. Since that is the case, don't you think women who want to break that cycle of marry, get pregnant and rear babies; and have professionally fulfilling lives, are morally justified and courageous? Women should be taught well that marriages are farces and they would have more fulfilling lives without marriages, right?
women can marry & decide not to have kids. marriage isn't the limitation, raising kids seem to be the problem. i also suspect it's deeper than marriage & children - women just generally lose interest at anything once they have stayed in it for 10+ years.
FamilyRe: Feminism: A Joke In Nigeria—for Now! by coogar: 11:06am On Jun 09, 2015
Kay17:
The three articles were not enough? How many do I have to produce? 20? 30? 50? 100? When will you be satisfied?!

But you believe since women are incapable of acquiring postgraduate degrees and incapable of accumulating experience they coincidentally fell in the disadvantaged group, right? At least you were one of those denying unequal pay exists, now you know it does BUT for good reasons?
why are women incapable of acquiring post graduate degrees? is it by force to marry & get pregnant? women can very much achieve whatever they want to achieve - is the gender not equal again? grin cheesy grin

Why shouldn't men be given preference here? It's clear there is more to this than performance at the time of admission - 18'ish - when girls tend to be slightly ahead of boys (in terms of requirements and how they present).
that was exactly what i told my GP the last time i visited. i told him the ratio of male to female admission in the medical schools should be a mandatory 2:1 in favour of the men. the women don't stay long in that profession and this is why there's always a shortage of doctors in the medical field!

i hope we wl nt argue abt dis in future wen it concerns another person.

there's nothing to argue.....i have always gone with the UEFA/FIFA standard. a player that got fouled in the box as he was aiming to score deserves an assist if another player converts the resulting penalty.

so the number of assists we assign players is actually less than the number they have.
yep!
and there many sports sites who count it the way FIFA/UEFA count it. only opta seek for purity by defining assist as an intentional pass that led to a goal.

i think she's just arguing because she likes the colour of her prints. women should stop running away from maths & science if they want equal pay. what a woman would get depends on the course she studied in college

even when it was discovered more women are actually taking more STEM courses recently, new research found out many of them don't stay too long in that career - they quickly abandon the ship & opt for less mentally-tasking roles. grin

Here is the us defination of r@pe http://www.justice.gov/opa/blog/updated-definition-rape
couldn't find that of UK.
look at the definition again and tell me this isn't gender-biased. the key word here is penetration. in other words, unless a woman sticks her finger or tongue in a man's anus, she hasn't committed an act of räpe.....her vaginä is not a penetrative tool!

But please, show me why you are convince those two countries defines r@pe as just a male thing. I'll need to see the law you're referencing.
I hope we have some lawyers here from US and UK to help put this to rest.
this is the UK legal definition of rape....

www.nairaland.com/attachments/2496614_image_jpeg9f360c5ab7736510df54c882e9dbf188

women have no penetrative organ like the pënis so she cannot be accused of räpe in the UK.

as for cierra ross, you realize there was another woman in that story? I assume that second woman got the r@pe sentencing.
i didn't see that bit in the article you provided.

and in nigeria, a woman cannot commit the act of rape as well..... only a man is capable of committing the crime of rape.
