cap28: Dumbarse how come louis farrakhan is banned frm entering this cntry? Evr heard of Ripa (regulation of investigatry powrs act 2ooo?) No? It allows the govt to gain acess to ur email, carry out surveillance on u,
and the halfwit keeps embarrassing himself on a public forum. louis farrakhan was banned so was erich glebe(a white separatist leader).if the brits are racist, why would they ban a fellow white separatist from entering their country? does it make sense to your malfunctioning nervous system? didn't they ban fred phelps too - a white baptist church pastor? the british government are within their rights to ban any individual or group of individuals who foster hatred which might lead to inter-community violence. if louis farrakhan falls into such category, he should stay wherever he is.

Monitor ur internet activity, so effectively the british govt cn spy on u, read ur emails and post- does this sound like a cntry tht encourages freedm of speech? Dnt take my word for it research it !
if you have nothing to hide, why are you scared of the government spying on you?
but of course, a frustrated racist like yourself would be jittery. all the coded emails you have been sending to
brother leader ghost gadaffhi would soon be discovered. grin grin grin grin

PhysicsQED: ^^^

I've always wondered about something. How do they legally justify arresting people for hurling racial insults in the UK and some other European countries? I don't understand it. Granted, they don't have a Bill of Rights there (it's a controversial idea over there for some reason), but don't they have at least one law allowing people to say almost anything they want as long as it doesn't threaten local or national security and doesn't endanger anyone?
this is why the united kingdom is one of the most, if not the most hospitable country in the world.
there's a freedom of speech/expression but one cannot abuse the privilege. it's the way i perceive what's being said
that matters. if i feel offended, the offender is in trouble and trust the cops to get the offender jailed asap!

john terry(england football captain) racially abused a black player calling him a black cunt. he's been arraigned
now. his captain's armband has been stripped and if found guilty would be convicted. it doesn't get better than that
contrary to what this lunatic cap28 wants others to believe. there are equal opportunities for all and sundry in the uk.

i admire what the jamaicans did then but this is 2012, such nonsense is no longer permitted anywhere in europe.

Ibime: Then we should send him to develop our youth team. . .

We dont have such players in our youth team, so his ability in the transfer market is what would determine his success at Chelsea.
he won 3 league titles, 2 champions league titles for the senior team. of course, he's proven.
you cannot tell me he has not revolutionise football tactics. his team dominates and they win 96% of the time.
how can you not like pep guardiola and his passing triangles.

if they had a fit villa, pedro and abidal, chelsea would have been slaughtered. i blame him for yesterday's loss.
there was no point playing 3 at the back after chelsea went a man down. he should have switched to 4-3-3 and pedro
should have played to offer genuine width to stretch chelsea's back line.
European Football (EPL, UEFA, La Liga) › Re: Official Chelsea Fan Thread: Club World Cup Champions 2025-2029 by coogar: 3:56pm On Apr 25, 2012
Ibime: All inherited, not bought. The only successful signing Pep has made in 4 years is Pique.

In the same time, Barca have gone from financially solvent to having to take emergency loan last July after failing to pay player wages. . . all because of signings like Ibra, Chygrinsky, Cesc, even David Villa (all unnecessary)
he was the manager of their youth team before he got promoted to the senior.
effectively, players like messi, busquets, pedro, thiago, etc developed fully under guardiola's tutelage.
give him his credits, will ya?

Ibime: Actually, Guardiola is a regular tinkerman, often making silly changes that destablise the team.
often making silly changes? often? come on, bro.
it's called football evolution. football shouldn't be stagnant. i admire his tactical awareness
and his tenacity to change things to stay ahead of his peers in europe. you cannot fault him on that.
his title haul in the last 3 yrs is a testament to his brilliance.

The signing of Cesc has been a curse in disguise, making him play all sorts of silly formations to fit Cesc in the team and dropping loads of points on the way.
i don't really think cesc had anything to do with it.
villa's injury, the form of pedro and most importantly the absence of eric abidal ruined guardiola's season.
abidal would have kept ramirez in his pocket last night. he's the sergio busquets of the left back. i have never
seen abidal beaten by a right winger. he doesn't have so much pace but his positioning, tackling n interceptions make
him an outstanding tool to have at the back.

I dont want any Barca manager in Chelsea, simple reason being all the tactical brain-farts they make at Barca is covered by some great players. Make those same brain-farts in any other team and they will flop badly. I argued vociferously against the signing of Frank Rijkaard here in 2008 and Rijkaard has since proved what a rubbish manager he is with extreme failure at Galatasaray and Saudi Arabia since then.
of course - no barcelona manager can work at chelsea. there are too many mechanical players at the bridge.
roman must sell every player bar mata n torres if he wants a spanish manager. spanish managers are obsessed with ball possession.
that said, i still admire guardiola's qualities as a manager. i wouldn't mind him taking over alex ferguson.
European Football (EPL, UEFA, La Liga) › Re: Official Chelsea Fan Thread: Club World Cup Champions 2025-2029 by coogar:
Ibime: If the question is who do you trust with transfer funds, I trust RDM infinitely better than Guardiola (a disastrous transfer-market operator - see Chygrinsky, Ibrahimovic, and the unnecessary signing of Fabregas which has weakened Barcelonas system) and Mourinho (spend-spend). Given that Chelsea do not have extreme amounts of money to spend anymore, RDM knows the market for undiscovered gems better than these guys as seen in his purchases of the likes of Mulumbu for West Brom.

Secondly, the likes of Guardiola being mentioned make some stupid tactical decisions at Barca, playing 3-4-3, 1-4-5 and all sort of nonsense systems without shape. Guardiola is a good disciplinarian, motivator etc but he is tactically atrocious. He will make exactly the same type of tactical mistakes that AVB made at Chelsea.

Speaking of tactics, RDM's tactical flexibility has been extremely superb in big epic games. Compare with Ancelotti's meek tactical surrenders in UCL over the last 2 seasons and you will appreciate the tactical flexibility RDM applies. Ancelotti had only one way of playing (he sometimes changed from diamond to 4-3-3, but the style of play was always the same except for Arsenal match where he counterattacked). Compare also with AVB's disastrous tactical changes when luckily leading Manure 3-0 with 30 minutes left and still managing to draw 3-3.

Some people told us that the reason we lost against Napoli in first leg is cos we have no Ezequiel Lavezzi's. By making some astute tactical changes and deploying Kalou, Mata and Ramires in other ways, RDM has proved that we can have the speed and width, even though we have no world-class wingers.

Give RDM the job!
guardiola is not tactically atrocious, i disagree with that.
he was just too intransigent in his bid to revolutionize football philosophy.
under him, barcelona have played better - they win 95% of their games and he's promoted some
exciting youth players. he does not use a plan b cos plan a rarely fails him.

that said, i am not saying chelsea should hire him or hire jose mourinho but the comparison
is daft. for every ibrahimovic or chygrynsky he bought, there were busquets, pique, pedro, messi, etc
they have won countless titles under him as well and the success of a football team is cyclical.

Wallie: I think the OP is wrong in his comparison of Nigerian gang members in Britain and the US. The US is simply too big and diversely populated to be directly compared with Britain. Also, the population of Nigerians in Britain is probably greater than that of Nigerians in the US. When you have fewer Nigerians in a place greater than 43 times the size of Britain, it is only natural that they won’t make the News as much as their British counterparts.

I can only laugh about the Affirmative Action comment stated on the first page! Government employers or companies that deal directly with the government (govt contractors) are only required to be an Equal Opportunity Employer. That is, you cannot discriminate against any employee or applicant for employment because of race, creed, color, or national origin.

It is not a quota based system. It simply means that you’re giving minorities (females, African Americans, Hispanics, American Indians) the same opportunity to get a job as you’re giving whites. If at the end of the day, a white applicant is the most qualified, then that’s who gets hired even if it means that all your employees are white.

Also, equal opportunity employment does not apply to private companies unless that company can be considered a State actor.

With regards to the racism theme in some of the posts, I’m not naïve enough to say that racism does not exist because humans will always find a way to distinguish one from another. All you have to do to find racism/tribalism is to take a look at Nairaland/Nigeria.

However, there are some people that expect the world to be handed to them on a platter of gold and are quick to blame racism if things don’t go their way, and there are others that kick another door open when one gets shut in their face! Na which one you be?
cap28 belongs to the former!

I see teams are starting to see the benefits of the much criticised Catenaccio.
germany? they packed a bigger van in the world cup semis. they didn't start playing their game
until after spain got their goal. every team in the world is scared of tiki-taka. only bielsa
went after spain's jugular with his chile team and it was the best match for me in that world cup.
attacking football, end to end counter attacks and smart inter-play.

germany would still pack a van in the european championship. spain would have llorente, torres,
david silva, mata, etc. del bosque wouldn't play 3 defenders too like guardiola kept doing.
barcelona had no business playing 3-man defence after chelsea went a man down. he should have
switched back to 4-3-3. they had the advantage.

even in the dying minutes, they should have attempted more shots from outside the box.
chelsea's box was packed. 3 out of the 5 shots would have taken a wicked deflection that
could have beaten cech or hit the post or get corner kicks. they kept passing it n passing it
till they used up all the time n torres got a break to score.

well - success is cyclical. between 2009 and 2012, barca had been excellent. 3 league titles,
2 champions league titles and winning other various competitions. it's difficult to keep going.
the champions league has kept it's curse. no team has won it back to back since it got refurbished

Out of 500 goals plus scored in a whole EPL season how many goals get scored from a striker having a free 60yards run at the keeper
