chei - see names.
let's stick with nairaland. it's not like seun would wake up from his slumber and claim he owns it.
we all met here on nairaland - i see no reason why the name should be changed.

on the issue of the balance left in the bank.
it should be saved or kept with jarus as an emergency fund. the obuhs need to be monitored.
should they need any help, the balance would quickly sort whatever they need without us having to gather around again and contribute again - as we all know it can be time consuming.

You want me to go on? You can suck on Lampard all you want. .  These are the things AVB sees and you come down here to tell us how much ground he's covered. 3 interceptions and only 4 won tackles over 3 games for a team set-up that heavily depends on pressing is lazy.

I repeat, as at 2011, if we play a midfield without Ramires in it, it will be lazy.

This man don come again.
ibime is a phat phool - he sees distance covered as hard-work. it actually depends on what the player is doing on the pitch. even a goalkeeper cops about 8km. does that make him hard-working. ibime is drunk on mileage - not the activity on the pitch.

like i said - ramirez is one of the best tacklers in this league if not the best. . . . .

Ronaldo received a quality delivery, was 6 yards out, had time to properly direct the ball and most importantly was FREE to head in. Fabregas was under pressure from a defender, running into the box and little time to make a decision. Cesc's chance was markedly more difficult to score.

Ronaldo should spend less time in the hairdresser's salon and work more on his heading skills. grin
ronaldo - 10 yards out
fabregas - 3 yards out.

even if ronaldo had directed the header towards the net, the keeper might have put a hand to stop it.
no goalie was stopping the cesc header. . . like i have said. . . . .credits to cesc for making the run to get into that position and more credits to dani alves for the perfect cross.

Why is it that big matches dey chop Ronaldo big time?
because his managers are too idiotic.
why would you keep ronaldo on the wing when messi is in the centre pulling strings?

ronaldo needs perfect delivery from the team-mates to see the ball. if they fail, he fails.
see fabregas(as talented as he is), he has not be mentioned today cos he's also played in the wing-forward position.

this is why mourinho needs hulk, nani or any other player that can play across the forward line.

The reason he gets into the Chelsea team 'at this point in time' is because AVB's new style requires intense work rate that Lampard and the average Meireles cannot bring. Unfortunately there's no one else. Play without Ramires and you have a very lazy midfield. That's why he plays.
that's a compliment in my own opinion.
if ramirez is the best of the lot to provide the work-rate needed for the new style then why do chelsea fans slate him?

And as for Brazil, tell me the midfielders who will bench Ramires in this day. Impress me. Are you telling me Ramires would have played in a Brazil team when Rivaldo, Ronaldinho, Juninho Paulista, Emerton, Kaka, Ze Roberto, Giberto Da Silva were at the top of their game?
if kleberson and gilberto can play for brazil - i see no reason why ramirez wouldn't get into any of the brazilian squad.
deary me. baptista, vagner love, etc have all played for brazil.

MASS DEFECTION LOOMS AT PROGRESS 2012.

Naharareporters

December 10th, 2011.

by ACHI30

Reports reaching naharareporters indicate a massive defection looms in the camp of Progress 2012. This, coming on the heels of the disqualification of its flagbearer, Okija_juju,  by the PoointB-led highly independent electoral commission certainly cannot be good news for the OPC.

Indeed, there have been palpable signs of discontent within the inner circle of Okija_juju Progess Congess for some time now. Sources revealed this may not be unconnected with the perceived closeness of its flagbearer to members of other ethnic groups, the most notorious of whom was one alj harem, which they felt was an affront to core Igbo supporters.

According to a highly placed source, the party's just concluded exco meeting almost degenerated into fisticuffs between Okija_juju and Mr coogar, when the latter threatened to pull out with his horde of supporters in order to form an alliance with Mr Onlytruth, widely touted to emerge winner. He chided MR Okija for repeatedly resisting calls to distance himself from questionable characters which he (Coogar) insisted added fuel to the unending controversy surrounding his true ethnic identity.

An obviously unimpressed Okija was the alleged to have referred to the group as prostitvtes, a term which deeply offended Mr coogar who then made a grab for Okija's shirt but was quickly restrained.

Attempts by narahreporters to obtain confirmation proved abortive as all party officials declined comments when approached. Repeated calls to the campaign manager went unanswered.

However, a member of the youth wing, Mr Okada, speaking in his personal capacity, dismissed story the as the handwork of detrators, insisting all was well within the organization.
this is so untrue.

coogar and okija-juju are still partners and would fight the injustice meted out to opc.
furthermore, we shall file a lawsuit against nahara reporters for defamation of character.

members of the opc are gentlemen. we don't get into fisticuffs over small issues like this one.
we shall meet in court.

Additional point, nani attacks d box well, he doesnt just sit on d flank, thereby scoring more goals
I believe we've gotten the closure we need
nani is a wing/forward. . . he is allowed to do all that.

a defensive midfielder cannot do such without getting the wrath of his manager.
compare michael carrick that first joined man utd with the michael carrick of today.

when was the last time carrick scored a goal or provided an assist? i can't remember.
this is because his role has changed. he is the shield in front of that defence. if he vacates his position, united's defence is in trouble.

in all the league games carrick has started this season, united have only conceded 1 goal(the dubious penalty against newcastle).

i-phone 3g or 3gs. if it's 3g, don't buy it.
it's useless. even if you manage to put.

the 3g runs as slow as a snail on anything higher than 4.0
it is meant to work at best performance with ios 3.1.3 - going higher than that would make the phone unusable.

@coogar why do u think nani is ahead of valencia??
afterall they can both go past their marker and deliver a good cross
nani is ahead of valencia because of nani's trickery. nani is capable of doing the unthinkable - valencia has nothing of such.
furthermore, nani is ambidextrous(2-footed). he can play on either flank without hassles.
valencia is one-dimension. he has no left foot. yes, it makes him more predictable for his team-mates to know what he's about to do - but so does it also make it more easier for his markers to nail.

Btw which position does messi playshuh
messi is a central forward/false striker.
he used to be on the wing until pep guardiola re-modelled him to play in the middle.

nani that joined since 2007 only managed his first league brace tonight after more than 4 yrs of joining man utd.

I knew u would bring that up, lets do it dis way, name great players that werent dynamic n i will name mine
i have given you makelele(the guy mikel has replaced as the defensive midfielder) and who is still the best defensive midfielder in the history of the game.

florentino perez described claude makelele. . .

we will not miss makelele, his technique is average, he lacks the speed and the skill to take the ball past opponents, and 90% of his distribution either goes backwards or sideways. he wasn't a header of the ball and he rarely passed more than 3 metres. younger players will arrive who will cause makelele to be forgotten.

makelele was already 30 yrs of age when real madrid president made these comments and sold him off to chelsea.
you and the other anti-mikel cronies are making the exact mistake florentino perez made 8 yrs ago. the role of a defensive midfielder is to sit.

arsene wenger is not conscious defensively - this is why he allows alex song to roam and this is also the reason arsenal are the most vulnerable team to counter-attacks. i doubt mikel has lost his ability to find a through-pass or score a goal. he has to play to his manager's instructions and that is sitting deep and providing a shield to his defence.

Hardunnii:
@1025 dere is no point arguing with u, aw many clubs av declared interest in mikelhuh Mikel is a good player no debate abt that, but song is better. For more clarity, compare their abilities on FM2012 or PES2012 for neutral assessment
fm2012 and pes2012 are programmes written by humans. mikel doesn't head the ball, he doesn't dribble, he doesn't score, he doesn't provide assists. how do you want developers to analyse his ability? of course he would look shyte. . . .but that's far from the truth. his primary role is to sit deep and be a 3rd centre-back when chelsea's wing-backs fly forward.
