When we say common sense is far from being common, this is an example. 24 hours electricity with prepaid metre is all that is needed. The prepaid put you in control of your power consumption. All over the word, wherever there is 24 hours electricity supply, people control its usage. Consumers know that there is direct connection between the bill and consumption. But in Nigeria, there is no correlation between what is consumed and the monthly bill for those on post-paid metre. |

To think this guy actually contested as a young man to be president beats me |
To think this Mallam is being groomed to become the next president under APC should alarm us. That is why all hands must be deck to vote out this APC controlled government of liars and dishonest folks. |
I am afraid the op is absolutely right. On the issue of hunger and hardship, the Tinubu administration is positioning the Renewed LEEP PROJECT to tackle that. It will be surprised with the level of infrastructural development, employment and empowerment that will start simultaneously across the country in the last quarter of the year. Note that the program will only last for two years, by which time Tinubu must have won the second term bid, even though I wish not, and won't vote for him. franchasng: |
Very apt. You said it all. I supported Obi in the last election. But as it is, Obi has no structure to prevent election manipulation at all levels. I agree with you to the extent that Atiku will not betray him after winning the election with the Obedient support. Even if Atiku spends two terms, Obi can still contest. But, should both of them go their separate ways and contest on different political platforms, it will give Tinubu the leeway to manipulate the process in his own favour. |
Glowqueen3:Where were you documented, and for what position did you pay the #35,000. Do you know the name of the organisation or person that collected the money from you. Do you also have evidence of payments? For a fact, Hope Project (LEEP) is real, but you are free to doubt. You can't pay such a such and still be removed. Should you have evidence of payment and the details about the person you paid to,you can chat me up. |

Substantial justice is all that is expected, but shall with the way Wike is technically bribing the Lord Justices, nothing is impossible, especially in a corruption laden country as Nigeria. But then, we can only hope that Nigeria will NEVER happen to the judgement. |

APC Chieftain In Kano Who Allegedly Led Thugs To Loot Property Identified As Baffa Agundi Who Is Also Tinubu, Ganduje's Ally ----By Sahara reporters August 3, 2024 SaharaReporters had on Friday reported that the APC chieftain who also took photographs with Ganduje and 2023 governorship candidate, Dr Nasiru Gawuna, was seen vandalising government property and attempting to lead violent thugs into the Government House in Kano State. An All Progressives Congress (APC) chieftain, Baffa Babba Dan Agundi, who is also a prominent ally of President Bola Tinubu and former Governor Abdullahi Ganduje, has been identified as the APC chieftain who allegedly led a group of thugs to disrupt the #EndBadGovernance peaceful protest in the state on Thursday. SaharaReporters had on Friday reported that the APC chieftain who also took photographs with Ganduje and 2023 governorship candidate, Dr Nasiru Gawuna, was seen vandalising government property and attempting to lead violent thugs into the Government House in Kano State. Some hoodlums had on Thursday hijacked the initially peaceful #EndBadGovernance protest in the state. They broke into several shops in the metropolis and looted food items. The hoodlums also vandalised and looted valuables at government establishments, including a court records office at the Audu Bako Secretariat Complex at the State Road. Meanwhile, concerned citizens in Kano accused Agundi of being behind the looting. Agundi was the Director in charge of Tinubu's support groups in northwest and a former state House of Assembly member. He was also along with his elder brother, Aminu Babba Dan'agundi arrested in 2007 in relation to the death of late Hajiya Sa'adatu Rimi, the wife of first civilian Governor of Kano State, late Alhaji Abubakar Rimi. The duo were later discharged by the court, but the murder case of late Saadatu Rimi remained inconclusive till date as her two brothers, Sambo and Bamanga had resigned to fate in securing justice for their sister. The protesters had gathered to voice their grievances against the government, but the demonstration took a violent turn when Dan Agundi, a public servant, allegedly arrived with a group of hoodlums. Witnesses claim that the protesters' peaceful assembly was abruptly interrupted by the group, leading to chaos and violence. The concerned citizens have also criticised the Kano Commissioner of Police, accusing him of granting Dan Agundi permission to lead the protesters despite being aware that the demonstration was directed against the federal government. The decision has raised questions about the impartiality and judgment of the police in handling public demonstrations. Earlier, Dan Agundi was quoted saying that he was leading the protesters to the palace of Emir Aminu Bayero to lodge a complaint, which they hoped would be forwarded to President Tinubu. He reportedly assured the crowd that the protest would proceed regardless of the weather, emphasizing their determination to make their voices heard. Eyewitnesses reported seeing Dan Agundi among the protesters, surrounded by the alleged hoodlums, who disrupted the peaceful demonstration. The incident has sparked widespread condemnation from concerned citizens, who argue that the actions of Dan Agundi and his group undermined the rights of the protesters to express their opinions peacefully. As the situation develops, the public is calling for a thorough investigation into the events that transpired and for those responsible for the violence to be held accountable. Baffa Babba Dan'agundi, who was recently appointed as the CEO of a Federal Agency ( National Productivity Centre) was sighted in a viral video making utterances and his plans to create chaos in Kano. The Kano concerned citizens through thier Spokesman Comrade Ghali Aliyu Bala Dantata, called on the Amnesty International and other human right organisations to file for the prosecution of Baffa Dan'agundi and charge him for culpable homicide. https://www.facebook.com/100044145774265/posts/1053588999455949/?mibextid=rS40aB7S9Ucbxw6v |

TINUBU MUST RELEASE ALL INCARCERATED ENDSARS PROTESTERS, REVAMP GOVT REFINERIES, ETC. July 27, 2024 NEWS The activists called on President Bola Tinubu to prevail on the security agencies and allow Nigerians to exercise their constitutional right with any form of molestation or harassment. Human rights activists under the aegis of Network of Abuja Left Groups have warned the Nigerian government, the Department of State Services (DSS), and the Nigeria Police Force not to lay hands on protesters during #EndBadGovernanceInNigeria protests scheduled to commence from August 1 across the country. The activists called on President Bola Tinubu to prevail on the security agencies and allow Nigerians to exercise their constitutional right with any form of molestation or harassment. The human rights crusaders disclosed this on Friday in Abuja during a press conference titled "Tinubu/APC Government Has Failed Nigerian Masses: Time For Mass Struggle" jointly addressed by the National Coordinator, Youth Rights Campaign, Adaramoye Michael Lenin, and Omole Ibukun, Coordinator Creative Change Centre (C4) in Abuja on Friday. They lamented how the nation's economy has witnessed a sharp decline since the emergence of the Tinubu-led government. According to the activists, “A bad situation has become worse. In February 2024, Nigeria’s inflation reached 32% year-on-year, food inflation hit 38% in February 2024 and in April 2024 cost of food soared to 40.53%. Nigeria’s Gross Domestic Product (GDP) growth rate declined to 2.98% in the first quarter of 2024, while the Naira became the world’s worst-performing currency as at May 2024. "All indexes to measure economic growth are in the negative. These are statistics; the reality is more agonising and terrifying. Nigerians have not lived in a worst time. “From May 29, 2023, the day President Tinubu was sworn-in, the nation was thrown into unprecedented unrest and uncertainty with the declaration of subsidy removal. Within a day, cost of fuel soared from average cost of N200 per liter to over N500. Sadly, fuel now sells for about N700 and in many cases Nigerians have to jostle for it. Similarly, electricity tariff climbed to N225 per kilowatt for Band A consumers while other consumers also witness increment." The coalition therefore demanded that all political office holders must be placed on same salary scheme with Nigerian workers and immediate reversal of pump price and electricity tariff. The activists also called for the full implementation of a minimum living wage that meets the basic needs of all workers, formal or informal. “We demand the establishment of a progressive taxation system in Nigeria where the wealthy pay their fair share, and the burden is not disproportionately placed on the poor and working class. “Other demands include; total reversal of all school fees increment, proper funding of public education. “Immediate fixing of all public refineries and building of new ones. Release of all #EndSARS protesters who are still being held in the custody” “To drive home these demands we are calling on everyone Nigerian to join the protest commencing on August 1 in our various locations to join the struggle, mobilise, organise, and take action until our demands are met. Join us on August 1 and for future actions to show our collective strength and determination," the coalition stated. https://saharareporters.com/2024/07/27/tinubu-must-reverse-university-school-fees-fix-refineries-release-all-endsars-protesters |
Well, it is gradually on the descent to #17770 as long as the focus-less government rules by propaganda and with the last eleven |
The vehicle was coming to Ondo State, not passing through Ondo State. The incumbent government in Ondo isn't handling or tackling the insecurity issues like his predecessor and benefactor. We just need to invest more in Amotekun coz it seems Ondo state Amotekun are short of staffs and resources like I heard few months ago. Ondo is a border state and even this incident has to do with vehicle carrying people from Anambra passing through Ondo state. You will need lot more personnel for state like that coz of the traffic. We don’t know the perpetrators but Fulani herdsmen don’t have that cover again so they can be dealt with easily if they are the perpetrators. I thought we combed all those forest but it seems they always lay low, then when the noise is down, they strike and run away again and wait till it lay low.[/quote] |
Good development. But most public schools in rural part of Edo State are begging for attention. The 70% literacy and numeracy level must be a product of private education. I am not sure if the Edobest is actually achieving the intended. |

Slawormirr is still contemplating a change of mind. He is finding it difficult between going for Apata from the same senatorial district as incumbent governor Obaseki and maintaining his earlier stand in favour of zoning which will make him go for Ighodalo of the central senatorial district. APC is not a choice for him. |
It is FINISHED! |
