My yoruba pple said that Rccg is there domain church n I got this info from a middle aged man who was supposed to be ordained as a pastor after doing all he required to do.He said d politics there is second to none. He went further to say that anytime Pst Adeboye dies that d church will split into many pieces/groups.
Read what happened to those who gave a timid prediction of the people of God in Numbers 13. All of you saying the church will spilt may just be contending with God! People leaving is NEVER new. God has displayed in the history of the church that those who left because Adeboye became the General Superintendent, as the office was called before, were not needed in the new dispensation. Anyone God chooses to lead the church, even if a 15year old boy, will achieve greater success. If from 39 parishes in January 1981, RCCG is what it is today, who needs those who left? God CAN and WILL NEVER be stranded.

This level of tribalism in the church that has attain a new dimension and alarming state is not peculiar to RCCG, as a matter of fact, most of the churches in Nigeria can be said to be tribalistic in their dealings. I can still remember vividly how the leadership tussle in Anglican Church, Benin Dioses almost torn the church apart when some people of Benin ethnic extraction opposed the view of bring a non Benin man to head the church after the death of the former bishop. What about the "Benin Leauge" that sued the Catholic church and also drag them before the Benin mornach that the Benin must produce the next Catholic Archbishop. The question now is, where is the leaning of the Holy Spirit in all these?
As a member of RCCG since 2002, I have had cause to discuss this issue with like minds, and the aftermath has always been shocking..
I was told how the bigwigs in a London "headquarters" of the church threatened to leave the church when a non-Yoruba was posted there to head the church. The debate became tense, and in other to pacify those that wanted the pastor to leave, the Nigerian headquarters eventually bowed to pressure and remove the non-Yoruba pastor and sunsequently replaced him before peace couls prevail...
Sometimes I just feel the church is losing it. We are now in an era where first son/daughter inherit the church/ministry.
Jesus Christ had cousin among his disciples, but did hand over to any of them, rather Apostle Peter was chosen...

May God help his church...
AMEN. But ask for forgiveness bro. Those who told you that lied. The head of RCCG UK is Pastor Agu Irukwu. As at 2011, he was chosen as the Most Inspirational Black Person in the UK. He pastors Jesus House, arguably one of the largest churches in the United Kindgom. Factfind, don't just believe things.
If someone alleges tribalism, I will ask him to check the spread of the Church in Nigeria. As an academic, I have and I am still researching into the church, RCCG. I laid my hand on some documents (no secrecy in the documents, mostly downloaded online) and carry out personal investigation, an insight into the early years of the church, predating 1952, when it became a full fledge church that seceded from C&S, will help you to understand somethings. All I can say is there are people from other tribes that are occupying enviable positions in RCCG today, and the number will continue to increase. RCCG now have white pastors as well as Indians and Philippines and other African nationalities too. Aiming towards globalisation, the church may even have a GO who is not a Nigerian is years to come, the statistics I got YESTERDAY about the church is point towards globalisation of pentecostalism.

Most requirement for PHD requires a minimum of 4.00 CGPA which is 60% equivalent if your GPA max is 5point.

hmmmm
Y hmmm? 60% is a proceed to PhD grade. Schools like UI, OAU, UNIBEN, UNIlORIN accepts 60% score at the Master's level for admission in PhD.
EducationRe: Unilag 2016 thread by Coolcube: 8:05pm On May 19, 2016
Festy4u:
Mr Kalan, I guess 64.4% will translate to a 3.22 CGPA.
On the Weighted Score Average, it's a proceed to PhD grade. And there's no way 64.4% will be equal to 3.22, in fact, it is beyond 3.50.

Got admitted for my first degree immediately after secondary school, graduated with a second class upper little before 20, started my masters at 21, after NYSC, finished that and starting my PhD this year. All my tertiary institutions are government schools.
Jobs/VacanciesRe: PHOTOS: Jobless Lady Seen On The Street Of Port Harcourt by Coolcube: 12:36pm On May 18, 2016
We are wired differently. Some people are business inclined while some are devoted to academics solely. PhD is not for business, it is for research, unlike masters where you can enrol to enhance your job search, PhD is for academic work. Now, if an individual chooses to focus on academics, why blame him or her? I have read comments in which people claim she should have used the money for something else, but I ask what assurance can you give that she would succeed should she venture into business?

Business skill is a gift, and not everyone is gifted along that line. If the lady chose academia and knows she has the ability to succeed, I tell you, people scorning her today will be amazed at her achievements in a decade's time. In the Western world, people are given the avenue to do whatever they want, provided it's law-abiding, and that's why they are progressing. Let schools, particularly the private ones without adequate PhD holders, contact her for employment. Government institutions can as well employ her, just that politics has destroyed everything... those who lack the ability to lecture are those getting the job, all because of connection and money.

Once she is offered an employment by this act you will see many other people who will copy her, even the ones shouting that they do not believe her.

Think of the 2015 pre and post election trekkers.

For those of you who think that a PHD student cannot be jobless, please pinch yourselves and kindly wake up to reality. Most firms do not even care if you have a Masters Degree. Even banks prefer to hire OND holders so as to pay less remuneration.

I know a guy who is also a PHD student. He has been struggling to get a lecturing job for about three years now, all to no avail.

The truth of the matter is that there are few vacancies and they are mostly reserved for the creme-la-de-cream of our society.

May God touch Buhari/Wike/Corporate Organisations to give her the job she seeks.

On a final note, why are some of you doubting her age? She looks quite young but you are still doubting because of her achievements in life.

You can get your first degree at age 20, get your NYSC certificate at 21, Masters degree at 23 and start your PHD at 24.

Kini big deal?
I am a living testimony.

Yeah...IB based. I want to run a PhD programme and UI will require me to go through MPhil/PhD though I had a very good grade at the Master's level because I am a non-UI master's degree holder. Unilag will admit me directly into the PhD programme, but I just don't want to risk travelling to Lag, given the bad road network and getting an accommodation in Lag can be tiring and expensive.

I am currently out of Ilorin. And again, it is usually a paper test, so getting it means I need to get someone who did Accounting; different departments with different questions. Every department set their own questions.

Akkord4gov:
The average School fees, the duration? pls
Let me have your intended course. The minimum duration is 12 calendar months. People in Computer Science, Statistics and some departments finish in about 12 months. However, this is not automatic. It is dependent on the student, his/her supervisor, thesis and department. Faculty of Arts runs M.A programmes for about 2 years or so.
