I had rather stay sex-starved than take a second glance at a dirty lay-about such as you. What a rubbish. You are a 'stweepeed' illiterate and an obviously linguistically challenged flat.head.....I am not and can never be on your level. Three things, firstly, there is nothing like 'what a rubbish'...... .....secondly, the use of the word 'pervert' does not in itself denote matters of a sexual persuasion/connotation .... .....thirdly, stop batting above your level...... ......now you can bugger off.... ......and go pick up a dictionary. |

warrior01: P Why are you such a hypocrite? Are you now saying we should jettison merit for mediocrity? I thought you said you guys are the most educated in the country then why are the cut off marks allocated to south western states lower than South East ? For how long will this disparity continue? Does this affirm the believe that the south Eastern part of Nigeria remain the most educated? As for the insults, you're forgiven as you have just shown you're a product of the quota system. These cut-off marks are for Unity schools and most of us know that the SW has long jettisoned that system hence the slightly lower cut-off for them. You must remember that the SW has by far the highest number of independent schools in the whole country where standards are higher and which are predominantly populated by students of SW origin.... |

Ngwaukwu1: Which 'opinion' of mine exactly are you refering to?
In my post I made it clear that i actually agree with you. My opinion is that the political elite of the East should focus their energies on agitating for regional autonomy, which they should pursue politically by floating a poltical party that emphasises Eastern National consciousness or even more specifically Igbo nationalism. They should then aim at grabbing power in all the Igbo speaking areas of Nigeria and not apologise to any body about their intentions.
I did not in any way raise any argument that even hints at diminishing whatever the Yoruba poltical class have done in the past. To be frank i care less what other ethnic nationalities occupy themselves with. My focus is on what the Igbo, with emphasis on the political elite, should do going forward instead of cavorting with those who consider them less than equals in a dance only fit for lunatics . . . Well, if your opinion is on ibo matters...so be it. I have nothing to say about your people and their nasty politics of anywhere belle face. My people's position has always been clear and concise. A mobilisation of all ethnic nationalities within Nigeria should be undertaken so that we can all achieve our goals irrespective. |

Ngwaukwu1: You are absolutely right that "no one will vote for an ibo (sic) candidate". There may be a few trickles from Igbos though but not enough to make any difference to the eventual outcome, which is that as long as Nigeria remains, there will not be an Igbo president. That is the present reality of the Nigerian state.
The power structures have been so skewed to favour a certain people such that it is only they or their pawns that can ascend the seat of power in Nigeria. Jonathan was a mistake, which they made sure to correct on May 29, 2015.
Make no mistake about it. Those from the wrong side of the nation that shout themselves hoarse with the mantra 'change', the sound of which becomes even more hollow with the passing of each day, should not delude themselves that they are any closer to the corridors of power. And i am not talking about the Igbos here. What these people have and mistake for power are sugar coated crumbs from the masters table. It baffles that even the intelligent do not see this but instead exhaust themselves in a perverse d!@k measuring contest about who is more f!@ked up than the other. This would have been funny if it wasn't so serious.
The political elite from the East should stop kidding themselves. The only way to achieve relevance is to face the reality of their circumstances and embrace it by forging a truly 'nationalistic' party the objective of which would be to fight for true regional autonomy. They should not make any pretenses towards gaining power at the centre for they shall never gain such power. The rest of Nigeria have told them that without even bothering to sugar coat it.
Let them fight for regional autonomy politically. Let them then team up with other ethnic nationalities that want regional autonomy and cease from being distracted by a quest for the elusive power at the centre, which only leaves them vulnerable to exploitation by those who now call the shots. That is the reasonable thing to do, if they want to be relevant within the Nigerian contraption, while the rest of us agitates for Biafra. Well, everyone has an opinion and you obviously are entitled to yours, however it does not make it right. It is on the records that the one set of people who have regularly pushed for regionalism more than any other have been the south west starting from the constitutional conferences such as Clifford, MacPherson etc held prior to independence. Even in the last one held by the Jonathan administration, the position of the Yoruba was very much in line with this old trend. We have never been scared of regionalism and in fact, we actively seek it. I suggest you read about the Dawn commission. http://dawncommission.org/....read this and know that our people irrespective of our political leanings are very clear on where we should be headed... |
