Kogi west will do their own sixteen years before so power rotation can naturally start in kogi. The white lion has buried that power of monopoly. If any of the region feel entitled to it then other regions in the state will merge and kill such entitlement

I haven't seen much of the results but I knew APC can never win without at least 60% of votes from Kogi West. Igalas in Kogi East have terrifying numbers.

Be it as it may, This is first time I'll want APC to win in Kogi as Igalas have proven to be nothing but selfish and greedy lots. They ruled Kogi for 19 years with nothing to show for it and were hoping to forcefully use their numbers to grab the power back. Read a rumor Yaya Bello brought an issue of making power rotation a law where the three zones (East, Central, West) will be producing Governors after every 8 years to give minorities a chance as well but Igalas shunned that idea cos they didn't like it. They wanted power to remain with them till thy kingdom come, reason why Bello was determined to ensure power stays out of Igalas hands. I like they way Kogi West teamed up with Kogi Central votes to match the East. Maybe if Igalas no see power after 20 years Dem go agree on making power rotation a law amongst the three zones.
