CelebritiesRe: Chinedu Okoli 'Mr. Flavour N'abania' Had A Child With Ugandan Celebrity ? by coolted(m): 6:44pm On May 09, 2012
nassiwa: According to News in Uganda Chinedu Okoli has fathered a child with a Ugandan Socialite Bad Black.
Mr. Flavour came to Uganda in September for a performance and Bad black offered him $10,000 to sleep with him which he accepted and spent a night with her in a certain city hotel. Now if we are counting the period at which Bad Black gave birth it brings us to close seven months. Supposing they did not use any protection in September, lets Start counting from October, November, December, January, February, March, April, and a few days into May. This definitely supports our thinking and brings back Chinedu Okoli aka Mr. Flavour N’abania as the father of the baby.

PoliticsRe: Transparency International To GEJ: 'Your Country Is A Den Of Thieves' by coolted(m): 9:22pm On May 03, 2012
chagga: THE Transparency International has expressed worry over the scope and speed of corruption in Nigeria this year, saying it is beyond what it has ever dealt with. This was revealed in an open letter to President Goodluck Jonathan by Fitch and Associates in the Hague, The Netherlands, on behalf of Transparency International. In the letter, distributed by Save Nigeria Group (SNG), the Transparency International said the scam in Nigeria at present is quite heartbreaking.

See full details of the letter below.
Dear President Goodluck Ebele Jonathan,

“We are lawyers representing Transparency International, a global civil society group leading the fight against corruption. Your Excellency, if you look at the website of our client, she defines herself extensively as: “Transparency International, the global civil society organisation leading the fight against corruption, brings people together in a powerful worldwide coalition to end the devastating impact of corruption on men, women and children around the world. TI’s mission is to create change towards a world free of corruption.
Transparency International challenges the inevitability of corruption, and offers hope to its victims. Since its founding in 1993, TI has played a lead role in improving the lives of millions around the world by building momentum for the anti corruption movement.”

Your Excellency, perhaps, you already know that our client is famous in your part of the world for her annual Corruption Perception Index (CPI). It has become the world’s most famous corruption ranking fiesta. People and governments all over the world expect the annual CPI the way they expect the announcement of the Nobel Prizes. We are sure you know how it works Your Excellency: some 200 countries are ranked from the least corrupt to the most corrupt.

To gather corruption data every year on two hundred countries is arduous work. Our client’s thorough methodology is constantly reviewed and updated by the best experts in the world. This methodology revolves around a national integrity system assessment that is applied by a team of country specialists. Transparency International allots three specialists to each of the 200 countries under assessment. Six hundred specialists work round the clock to help our client draw up the CPI which is released on the last month of every year.

Transparency International has retained the services of our firm because they believe that Nigeria is about to jeopardise their work for the year 2012. Our client suspects sabotage, plotted and orchestrated by Nigeria’s political elite, in order to make it impossible for Transparency International to work effectively on the 2012 Corruption Perception Index. Our client would rather have a peaceful resolution of this matter as international litigation is always sensational, time wasting, and expensive.

The problem, Your Excellency, has to do with the rate and scale of scams and corruption probes coming out of Nigeria in 2012. The scope and speed of corruption in your country this year is beyond anything our client has ever dealt with. When the pension fund scam broke out, the three specialists working on Nigeria complained about overwork and threatened a lawsuit against Transparency International because they had to work 23 hours a day from Monday to Sunday just to cope with the figures coming out of that scam. Our client had to pull country specialists away from zero or low corruption countries such as New Zealand, Denmark, Finland, Sweden, Singapore, Norway, Netherlands, Australia, Switzearland, and Canada. The specialists working on all these countries were transferred to the Nigeria desk.

i think GEJ Is transparent. We all can see that corrupt officials n institution r being exposed.

makky: Saw him just this Sunday, and today I got a text on my phone from his friend, his marriage iv!

Ive been in shock since morning, dont know who to talk to cos I don't keep friends, i absolutely may go suicidal on this. A man that didnt even have a house, a job, no money when i met him. I cook for him, he spent virtually all his time at my place, even most times borrowed as lil as N200 from me. He cried at the bus-stop one evening begging me not to let go, that single tear kept me. I don't have a regular job, I buy & sell things just to keep going till a job comes. I've chased suitors away all in d bid to make this man feel save cos i believe in tomorrow. He is a divorcee, i didnt worry abt that. I stood by him since last year till he got a house dis February. By march I started noticing things. Ive asked him severally what d problem was but he said its just stress cos he got an event contract with a company. At a point he even borrowed some money from me, got to find out that it was cos of the girl he is planning to marry that came visiting bt he was too broke to host her.

This life and the men in it are heartless. Tell me how i can ever love another? Am dying silently, please i need friends to talk to or even a proper job to help me get over this hurt, am self destructive!
it could 've been worse. U have a new happy live infront of u. Move on, don't look back

European Football (EPL, UEFA, La Liga)Re: Lionel Messi And Barcelona Accused Of Elaborate Syrian Rebel Weapons Plot. by coolted(m): 11:06am On Mar 22, 2012
Aringarosa: Lionel Messi and Barcelona have found themselves at the centre of one of the most surreal conspiracies theories of all time, after a state-owned Syrian television channel claimed the Catalans were aiding the smuggling of weapons to Syrian rebels.

While the situation in the Middle East is clearly no laughing matter, Al Dunya TV have left internet users gobsmacked following an outrageous report that Barcelona helped anti-president Bashar Assad radicals plot arms smuggling routes through the country.
Using an El Clasico clip from last December, a video report on Sunday claimed Barcelona’s formation plots specific locations on a map, with the players representing the smugglers and the ball’s position signifying the current location of weapons.
The report concludes Messi's final passes to set up Pedro’s goal against Real Madrid indicates the successful handover of the arsenal to the rebels in Dir al-Zur.
Hard to believe? Watch the 'evidence' for yourself and see what you think...

Foreign AffairsRe: Mali Soldiers Seize Power After Palace Attack by coolted(m): 11:01am On Mar 22, 2012
[quote author=e-herbal]Renegade Malian soldiers have declared on state television that they have seized power in a coup after the government’s failure to quell a nomad-led rebellion in the northern part of the country.

This is coming after heavy gun shots were heard around the presidential palace in the capital, Bamako throughout the night.

The soldiers promised to “hand power back to a democratically elected president as soon as the country is reunified and its integrity is no longer threatened.” They have declared an immediate curfew “until further notice”. It is unclear where the president and members of his government are now.

PoliticsRe: States, Lgs Get Authorization To Generate And Distribute Electricity by coolted(m): 4:20pm On Mar 19, 2012
josiahriches: The Nigerian Electricity Regulatory Commission (NERC) has authorized local governments and communities the ability to generate and distribute their own electricity.

NERC recently issued two regulations entitled “NERC Regulation on Embedded Generation 2012,” and “NERC Regulation for Independent Electricity Distribution.”

The Embedded Generation regulation authorizes investors, communities, states and local governments to generate and distribute electricity for their exclusive consumption using facilities of existing electricity distribution companies or independent electricity distribution network operators, whilst the Independent Electricity Distribution regulation permits communities, local and state governments to invest in electricity distribution networks in areas without access to the grid or distribution network or areas poorly serviced.

The regulations empower States with electricity generation infrastructure to distribute electricity to their citizens. They also empower local governments and communities to partner with investors or look inwards in developing power solutions in order to provide their citizens with electricity.

The Chairman of NERC, Dr. Sam Amadi speaking on the development said, “These are the most important regulations today in this country because we do not have enough electricity to go round. We also have so many constraints preventing us from having enough to generate, transmit and distribute.

“From now on, the much expected expansion in the electricity supply to the end- users would be easily realisable. With these regulations, we have further unlocked the opportunities in the sector to community, private and government participations. The laws are expected to revolutionise the sector

is this an end to black out?
