Condemn the act and not the individual just as the Pope did. The catholic church battles against it, as a matter of fact, the Pope went to Obama after Obama legalized homosexual and gay marriage and warned him to stop the bill and to keep the Catholic church from such practice. I think it's too early to draw your conclusion my dear. Read previous newsletter on Pope's message on homosexuality you will see how he condemn the act but not the people because condemnation and justification of people is left for God alone, not you and I. I hope you know the story of the Samaritan woman and the adulterous woman. You are a sinner so don't condemn your fellow sinner.

sweetheart I don't see anywhere where i condemned anyone. What I said is that asking one to apologize without telling the other about how wrong their act is, is tantamount to encouragement. It's not in my place to jugde or condemn anyone. But I have the right to point out wrong.

there can be a tithe card but there's no need to have your name or some form of identity written on it. Monitor the tithe not the tither.

The thing is that besides Malachi, most people, pastors inclusive do not know any more about tithing. Deut 14:22-29, 26:12-19, Matt23:23, Luke 11:42 and a deep look at Heb 7.

Tithing is for the Jews in the old testament. Nowhere in the new testament were Christians admonished to pay tithe. But instead Christians are enjoined to give cheerfully not by coercion as is evidenced in modern day Protestant churches. Failure to pay tithe will not send you to hell. If you are moved by the Spirit to give please do so cheerfully. It is fully between you and the LORD.

Jesus actually talked about tithing once when addressing the Pharisees but he said there were weightier things that should be done but that tithing shouldn't be undone.

In practice if you pay your tithes faithfully God will bless you and if you don't pay bible says that person have robbed God. In the past, I have the same thought as you, I don't pay or pay a very small amount but then I suffer some immense losses in my finances and my health. Since then I pay my 10% and everything changed.
The key is to find a bible believing church that stand on the truth of the word and attend there and pay your tithes. Watch the lifestyle of the ministers there. Tithes are meant to pay for the admin and running of the church and organise programs to win souls to the kingdom

this is where you got it wrong. It isn't wrong to pay tithes but tithes are meant for the levites(these was because they had no inheritance like the other tribes of Israel), the widow, the orphans and in the strangers in the midst of the brethren, mostly the needy.

Its not foursquare but one of the Pentecostal churches that has been in existence for ages . So u will understand that such practice has also been in existence as a doctrine . I was in fact born in the denomination but still I find it hard to agree with them about the tithe idea
