It is rare to control those professors. I had meet Prof Ogunyemi one on one for a chat so I know what is up there. ASUU are not like NLC take barks but don't bite

Before I answer that for you (if indeed you need me to do so), do you ro do you not accept that previous strike actions have GREATLY benefited the system?

Visit any university. Ask if they have projects funded by TETFUND. You will find that almost every new project of note is funded by TETFUND. This is a *direct* outcome of ASUU industrial actions.

While there, ask the staff how many lecturers and even non-teaching staff have been sponsored abroad for graduate studies. Find out how many lecturers used to bother returning after graduate studies, and find out what the figure is now.

Don't stop there o. Ask them how successful they were in retaining their good students as lecturers in the days of poor salaries. Ask them what the picture is now with the marginal improvement in remuneration.

If you're indeed wiling to let go of preconceptions and face the truth, you will realize that ASUU's tactics have worked over time. So why did you say they should stop using those tactics again? Right.
